Just another general question.
What is everybody paying for a L of gas?
Around here, last time I checked, it was 104.7 /:

So, I'm not really digging Finger Eleven's latest CD.
That might sound like a blasphemous thing to say, but I'm finding the album just.. lacklustre. It has all the energy of a Ben Stein commercial. Aside from Paralyzer, the lyrics of which have been passed around MSN screen names like a bong at a Green Peace convention, the songs have redundant lyrics and a nearly narcoleptic effect.
Seriously, I don't think I can get through Window Song without yawning at least once.
At the three minute mark of most songs I find myself waiting for them to end. Whatever happened to beats like Famous, Above, For The Ocean, Bones and Joints? They've gotten progressively mellow, mellow beyond mellow, so mellow they sound like they've just gotten lazy. I'm somewhat disappointed. Maybe I'm just moving toward more thrash metal (and in fairness, I sort of am; Soilwork, Disarmonia, Deadlock, etc.) but I've always considered myself a fan of FF11, since their inception after the Rainbow Butt Monkey days.
Now it's all butt monkey. Where's my damn rainbow? stressed
