Quint Blitzbane For my next playthough of Final Fantasy Tactics, I've decided to create a party that's akin to the characters here on the island. I'm going to post classes for everyone, and you all can tell me if you like the jobs I've assigned for your character. The first class is the main one, the second is the secondary. Makes tons of difference, as Ninjas are obivously faster than most classes, and Knights are stronger, ect, ect. Aonice - Ninja/Black Mage (Lit 1-3 only) And being the only female that will be able to equip it: Chantage Perfume, which gives the wearer Auto-Life and Regen for the entire battle, making Aonice nigh-invincible. Gatz - sweatdrop Kinda hard to place him with a 'job', since he seems to be able to mimic and preform a lot of different abilities, so I'll make him a Mime/Geomancer. Mime for what I said earlier, and Geomancer for the cutting/reshaping of those Wyrm lines. Rioushu - Ninja/Knight, A Save Reaction. For reasons discussed earlier. surprised Dante - Samurai/Monk. Concentrate Support, Hamedo Reaction (Not my choice, but it'll be fun) Move-Hp up Movement. Can't use Monk's Earth Slash. Rake - Our evil daemon 'god' will get the class of Dragoner/Black Mage (Full), which is a named unit's class (Reis), but is perfect for her. Massive M(agic)A, P(hysical)A, Speed, and Movement (6) makes her really powerful, just like Rake. Black magic is included to round out the 'all mighty' point. Kage - Samurai/Oracle. Restriction: The samurai skill set is limited to Masamune (Destroy life) and Kiyomori (Restore HP). Masamune must be followed up by Kiyomori to keep job's class true. (Draining life, restoring ones own.) Oracle because it does that a bit easier, but cannot use the skills past Zombie. Morrigan - Knight/Calculator. Quick Charge Innate, Speed Up Reaction, Fly Movement. Knight skills for upclose encounters, and Calculations for most every magic class. Cannot use White Mage Cures (1-4), Life 1-2, Re-raise, or Holy. Cannot use Black Mage Level 4 magic spells or Frog. Cannot use Oracle's Petrify. Last, for now anyway: Quint - Monk/Geomancer, Counter Reaction, Two Swords Innate(Or in this case, fists), Ignore Height Movement. Geomancer cannot use skills that don't have anything to do with major elements: Grasses, rocks, and trees cannot be used for attacks. Metals, water, and fire can. :whew: That's all for now. I'll get to work on this party, and add others as I complete this current list. Reaction, Innate, and Movement skills will be added after a bit of thought, and what I feel the party needs to round out. Your "next" play through? sweatdrop I'm still trying to get through the PS version the first time... I kind of pictured Gatz a "Blue Mage"--or maybe that'd be Bleu's job xd --and a Fighter mix. confused But as I remember, the game doesn't have the "Bleu Mage" class.

Yea, no Bleu Mage, but the closest thing to that would be making a Calculator with Counter Magic, but does no magic on his own until he is hit by a spell, thus 'learning' it. Again, that would make the game a lot more interesting, and put a twist on one of the slowest classes to use.
Gatz: Knight/(Blue Mage) Calculator, with the stipulation above. Counter Magic Reaction, Teleport Movement, and Support - Magic Attack Up. Teleport because Gatz gets around, very easily. Who needs wings when you can warp virtually anywhere? wink

I kinda want to play FFT now. The jobs specified seems difficult to keep them alive cause there isnt a true healer unless you use the Samurai skill or Monk in which they have to be in close proximity. Unless you use Ramza to be the healer cause he has to be used to advance the story.

Which will probably need to happen. Monks are decent healers when Hasted, and Samurais can use Haste, but not until later in the game. (Chapter 3...I think.)
Thing is, there's still a few more people around the island I haven't covered....like Caliber. He's not much of a fighter, am I right?

Not really. He has the capacity to but most likely wouldnt want to cause harm to someone else. Unless they did something drastic. I think ive only been in 1 fight on gaia in the past year and it was in an arena. It actually might be longer than that.
Ive been thinking of more characters but they dont have a back story really.
If you need an extra character in FFT that doesnt share a job class with the others listed. Chemist,Lancer,Thief,Summoner or Bard. With damage split,counter,hamedo or regenerator on. I forgot the rest its been awhile since ive played it.
And the samurai weapon with haste on it I think you have to steal from a boss. And its a pain to get. You have to use Oracle's foxbird or Sword Grasp kicks in really often.

*Checks* Dammit, yea, the Masamune (Which I'm also wrong about it stealing life..) does Haste and Regen...which can break the first time you use it. sweatdrop Though Samurai can heal with Murasame (See how I probably got confused?), it's not as powerful as I need..
So in light of that, I'll create a new character - Caliber.
Caliber: White Mage/Time Mage, Half of MP Support, Distribute Reaction, Move +3 Movement.
Mmm...MP. Lots of it here, with a possible max of 1998 (999 x 2). Distribute helps with healing multiple units, or units out of range for normal spells. Move +3 to get in/out of the way of any/every thing dangerous, and the selected classes because they have the capacity to fight in both White Mage and Time Mage with Holy and Meteor respectivly, but won't use either unless in times of emergency. Smexy character if I say so myself. ^.^

I forgot how I made my character a WHM on my friends data just to cast holy. ^^;
I feel bad I dont remember the affect distribute. But most of my party either had item or reraise rings and was more physical oriented. Oh and the guy with Masamune has the 2nd best everything in the game. To get a chirijariden(sp?) Its in the deep dungeon and you need move find item. But im guessing maybe a boss has it equipped.

I'm going to wait until the price drops to a semi-sane level before grabbing my own. Love the games, love what it can do, but the price tag really needs a divorce from the system.
