He didn't answer right away, and his hand slowly closed around the golden ball he held, winking out it's light. He was taking his time to form the right answer to address her questions in his monotone yet musical voice.
"I cannot assume you know the full terms of the agreement. Yet does it make me a liar because I am associated with someone as Xavior? I am not sure how to persuade you otherwise because still as of yet, you have made no demands. All you need to know is that the vampire's soul is my possession by the correct rites, and I came to collect what's mine."

"No, I will not." He turned his head to cast on Kourui a baleful stare. "You cannot bully me so please do not make threats. This is not one of our competitions over souls, and I am positive Xavior has suffered enough for his transgressions."
Still there was no heat in his words and not a flicker of emotion. He only regarded her with cold, winter blue eyes, lacking even the smallest hint of warmth. He indeed had the features of an angel, but lacked life so that the face seemed almost alien.

When the sword was dropped, the angel let his bare feet touch the floor, and he folded his arms, his hands vanishing into his wide sleeves. He moved slowly and languidly like a dreamer still half asleep, and his wings tucked in closer to nestle against his back, one after the other. He was now facing Kourui, looking over her gravely, unflinching.
"That is a deliberating weakness. Even though I would like to witness your attempt to humble Xavior, I could not trust the vampire to your shaky hands."

He smiled benignly but it did little to melt the iciness of his gaze, his calm, collected exterior quite the opposite of the hurting Shinigami.
"You have asked me a dangerous question quite brashly. But I will answer. I can say I am currently weighing in the positives and negatives of putting some of Hellsing's agents through a series of ordeals. Perhaps you would even be included if you responded."

The angel sighed softly, closing his eyes for a moment as he bowed his head in mourning, but yet again, there was not much emphasis behind his hollow gestures. He returned to a neutral stare soon after, unperturbed even as she reached for her weapon. He seemed faintly concerned for her.
"They could all die if they do not keep their wits about them. But I do not expect many to lose their lives. You must remember they are all trained agents."

"Then Kourui will protect them. But first I assume you will need to find harmony and wean yourself off your medication crutch. It would be wise before you find yourself unable to do anything when it truly matters."
He slowly meandered over to her, and he glanced once at the sword she held. The angel was quiet for the moment, testing whether she'll let him come any closer.

Silently, he watched Kourui for awhile longer as she fell asleep. His head tilted to one side as he considered her with his serene blue eyes. Then with no clear motive the angel moved forward, taking the hilt of the sword to rest it against the wall well out of her reach. He kneeled besides her, and his great wings spread partially, silver dusted feathers sweeping across the floor. Smoothing back a lock of her hair as he pressed a light kiss against Kourui's forehead in a paternal way, he murmured, "You are very trusting for an old warrior. You must have forgotten much or never learned. You are sloppy. Perhaps I can teach you a lesson to hopefully make you more wary. Perhaps then you will not forget important things."

And as his hand drew away from Kourui's cheek in a gentle caress, he sapped away a portion of her soul, and absorbed it into himself, drawing away the life force that animates and pulses in everything on God's green Earth ever since the dawn of creation. While his fingers closed, he traced his mark a few inches over her chest, and he began to whisper ever so quietly. The character flared to life before it disappeared, sinking in her breast.

Just like that his work was done. He had taken advantage of the situation, and she'd feel nothing was out of the ordinary but for the mild exhaustion. He doubted she ever had been subjugated to the curious empty sensation before, and it would probably be a mystery why she wouldn't have the same stamina as before. But while he had also taken, he gave. The angel had placed a powerful seal on Kourui, its effects subtle and difficult to detect because it had been woven with the signature of Kourui's own energy, intermingling with his own. And once he was finished, the angel didn't delay any longer and stepped back to become an observer once again, losing substance and fading away.

Rin was alking around absent mindedly he suddenly walked right into a wall and just fell backwards. "Ow..." He muttered and just laid there.
