I hate break up. crying
At work, they have me sweeping rocks off the sidewalk, well, when things melt, freeze, snow, melt, freeze, etc. they put rock salt down. Which I can't take off the sidewalk BUT they still want me to get rid of the rocks. crying

Gosh I wish it was raining here. We've got snow on the ground still. IN APRIL! crying
But it should melt within the next few days. It was just the last freak snowstorm of the year, I hope.

I had an interesting day today. I went to a luncheon for the Desert Literary Society with a teacher and 3 other students. It was at the Lodge in Rancho Mirage (for those of you who don't know, that's where the Bachlorette got married). We got to meet the author of the new book "Alibi", set in venice, 1946. It's a murder novel, and he also wrote "The Good German" which has been adapted to the silver screen an will come out this fall, staring George Clooney, and Kate Blanchet. I got to ask him some cool questions, and then we had a 3 course meal. It was a garden salad with blue cheese-ranch dressing, chicken stuffed with herbs or something of the like, and cheesecake (I had two slices cuz one of my friends didnt want his 4laugh ). I got a copy of the book, signed, and we went on our merry way. the whole thing took about 3 hours, but it was cool cause we got to miss our last three periods of school.

Friday, what a wonderful day of the week. Tomorrow my friends and I are goingto spend the day at the library becasue they need to do research for a school project. And me, I'm just along for the ride mrgreen
Plus, libraries have lots of cool information.
