Jon heard the screams, and picked up the pace a bit, walking in the direction of the sound. He rounded a corner and stopped dead in his tracks.
Everybody on the street was in pieces. Everybody.
Oh no...not again... He clutched his head in blinding pain. Two soldiers patrolling the streets saw Jon in pain and walked over.
"Is everything okay, young man?" The taller soldier stepped forward. Jon looked back at the soldier with a menacing glance, and the soldier shrunk back.
"Do I look okay? Look in front of you. Look at the carnage." The soldiers' heads lowered in agreement.
"Would you like us to escort you to a safe place?" Jon looked back and staggered to his feet. The shorter man rushed to his help, but he grabbed onto a lamppost for support.
"I'll be fine...I'm going to find whoever did this." The taller man gasped.
"You'll...you'll be killed! These are no ordinary..." The soldiers' speech was stopped mid-sentence when a vector, visible to the naked eye, extended itself and put a finger to the soldier's mouth. Jon took off his hat to reveal two white protrusions coming out of either side of his skull.
The soldier, obviously terrified, backed away, stumbling over the other, falling to the ground.
"If I wanted to kill you, I would have done it already. I'm nobody. Don't mind me." Jon grinned sincerely, and returned his hat to his head.
"Good day to you both, gentlemen." Jon turned around and walked down the street from whence he came, making sure his hat was secure so nobody else saw what he revealed to the soldiers. That might have been suicide, but it might come in handy later. Now to find the others and get some explanations.

Grim sat down near the hatch looking into the sky...the starlight was amazing...he was smiling and starring at a certain cluster of stars..when he first met teary she said it was her favorite...he began crying...
i cant believe ill never see you again...
he smiled and continued starring into space...
( BACK AND MY FRIENDS STOLE ALL THE PIZZA.... )

"are you ok..?"
Shion showed a worried face
"Im happy to see you.. but if you want me to go il be on my way.."

its okay...anyway who is that friend of yours the guy that tried to help me when i was wounded...he seems...different..
Grim looked up at the stars and began feeling a bit sick and his vision blurred up...
ugh...
he started rubbing his eyes..

Shion looked down
"his name is jon.. remember.. i met him the day you attacked me.. hes nice.. but it disturbs me sometimes how 'good' he is.. never using his vectors for.."
Shion hesitated
" He wont kill anyone probobly if really super important.."

Jon staggered out of town, stopping to readjust the strap on his guitar bag every once in awhile. I hope that shop owner got out okay...
He found a tree and sat underneath, admiring the stars. It's been a long time since I was able to do this. Just sit back and enjoy the stars. I remember my walks at night, I'd just stare, mesmerized, at the sheer number of them. I'd always feel so insignificant compared to them. It's so humbling.
Unzipping the bag to his guitar, he remembered that he had sensed a strange presence before discovering the grim scene earlier. Was that...no, it couldn't be. Could it? He began playing the guitar, happy to have his trusted 7-string back in his possession. It was his favourite, and his confidence and self-esteem were given a boost when he got it back.
He closed his eyes, letting the feel of his fingers on the metal strings take over, and before he knew it, he had slowly drifted off to sleep.

Shions eyes started to well up
"i do.."
She started laughing
"But then.. If we didn't exist what would they be doing now? concentrating more on Killing each other then us"
Shion stopped laughing hearing what she said made her feel just as foolish

Grim laughed softly at her answer...
That was actually a test of your intelligents...if we did not exist within days the humans would kill more then our kind has...half of their population would be gone...before our kind escaped those prisons the humans waged wars and killed the innocent...as we do...but now that we are free to do as we will...they can not fight each other they must ban together to destroy us...in other words you are correct...
