Nelphean wraped his arms around Bastet, and kissed her on the forehead. "I am..." Nelphean's grip grew tighter...

Bastet was relieved to hear that they were alright. She felt herself propped up, but remained cold. She simply nodded at Coban, not feeling like pressing the ghost for details of her revival. Then suddenly she felt warmth as arms wrapped around her, and a light kiss was planted on her forehead. The warrior Bastet had been exsausted, so she gripped onto Nelphean's shirt lightly, and snuggled closer to the warmth. "Thank you Nelphean."

"I'm sure you can handle her Nelphean." Giving a nod he looked over to Eclipse, who was in company now. " Kali, we should take him with us, he won't want to be around them for a few days."
She looked over to him and nodded. She had come with Coban, but had stayed back. "You're right. He felt so horrible the first time, but Ary doesn't remember and if lessened the burden. However, it seems Bastet does. He's going to be crushed..." She pet the wolf gently. "I know you didn't mean for this to happen." She then leaned into the unconscious wolf's ear. "She'll forgive you."
Coban looked again to Bastet and Nelphean. "Both of you take care. Get her back to top notch. Kali and I will take care of Eclipse for you. But I must ask of you one thing...spare Aurahkah. She doesn't need to know about this, may make her remember, and that is something she does not need." Walking over to his wife and Eclipse, he touched a hand to the wolf. All three simply faded away into the air.

She watched as they faded away and looked back to Nelphean. Reaching up one hand, she lightly touched by his eyes. "Your sword...why did this happen?"

Barely hearing the words, Nelphean said "I don't know." He just continued to hold her close to him and kissed her softly on the head a few more time. Nelphean could not find any words, or phrases, which was quite odd for the elf who never shut up.
"Allow me to carry you to the infermery." Nelphean easily picked up Bastet, and began to walk towards the distant place... "You probably will be healed by the time we get there, but if not, I hear those phoenix tears do the trick." Nelphean smiled, and just kept holding on to Bastet.

She held onto him as if her life depended on it and smiled up at him. "Maybe I can try to fix it later," She gave a small yawn, "Will you stay?" Giving into the stress from the day, she lowered her head, her breatheing slowed but stayed even, and she fell asleep in his arms, purring very lightly.

Nelphean listened the rhythmic purr of Bastet, and chuckled very softly. He will stay, and watch over her, until she is well again. He walked towards where he thought the infermery should be, and after several hours of mindless wondering, he managed to find it. He had only been in the infermery once before, while he was following magical auras about the manor, which is how he knew of the several vials of pheonix tears keeped in the cubboard.
Nelphean gently placed Bastet upon one of the infermy resting places, and brought a chair beside it. He leaned on the bed, and listend to Bastet's rhyme until he fell asleep. Sleeping, for the first time since he left the Grey Lands...

Nailah was jolted awake by a raging inferno inside her. Something was dreadfully wrong. She bolted up out of bed to see Rasui clawing at the door and hissing. Oh yes something was dreadfully wrong. She opened the door and walked out into the Great Hall. Blood met her eyes. Azure and red. What had happened here? It had to have been a battle but...only Eclipse had azure blood. But who's was the others. Niah sighed and cleaned up the blood as best she could. Aura didn't need to come home to this. She would question the other occupants in the manor and find out what had happened. Poor Eclipse. She tried to feel him but it was like he was gone...and she had no idea what had happened. Niah wandered the manor in a sort of daze trying to figure out what to do. She kept seeing the blood...so much blood. She ran her fingers through her hair and leaned against the wall.

Niah stayed like that for a few hours. She slumped against the wall and tried to control the myriad of emotions rushing through her. She thought about going to the infirmary and seeing if anyone was in there but she wasn't sure she wanted to know. There was so much happening here that she didn't understand. She slowly walked to the kitchen and let herself get lost in her thoughts. She thought about everyone here in the manor. Aurahkah and Vincent. His brohter Alex. Her mind darkened a little at that. Sweet but not quite so innocent Khenu. Darius. Ryo, Dagan, and Vik. Dear Bastet whom she considered one of her best friends. Eclipse, how could she ever forget him? Elias whom she said a quick prayer to Ra for his soul. She could still remember him tacked on Aura's door. That was a painful thought. Her thoughts drifted once again and she laid her head down on the kitchen table. She slowly drifted into sleep.

A gentle wind danced with Elias's long black cloak as he stood silently atop a hil overlooking the archaic manor. Something was wrong, in that most ancient of places. He would soon return, to the only real home that he had ever known. He only hoped that those warriors which he held so much respect for allowed him once more to enter that manor. He stared down at the manor shrouded in it shadows and constant rain with blank white eyes, the large golden hoop upo his left ear shimmering from underneath his large hood. "A we almost there?"came the young imploring voice of the youngest of three girls who had been placed under his care, Michiko."Yes, we will be there tonight, my young mistress." Elias's voice was calm and soothing, like with those many times he comforted his loving twins. He patted the girl gently upon the head, and houstin her back unto the large black horse, he began to gently lead the girls down the hills inching there way slowly towards the home of Ancient and otherwordly powers. For a brief moment, Elias mind wandered to the girl Naliah, it seemed that she ushered a prayer for him. "Thank you my dear" Elias whispered to the winds, hoping that it reached her somehow.

Niah stirred slowly from sleep. She was breathing heavily and had another nightmare. Aura was right...you had to sleep wiht somebody to keep them at bay. She thought about the fight that had taken place earlier and walked back out into the hall. She picked up the sai on the ground and her throat tightened. Bastet's. She saw a pile of blue fur and a few claws as well. Eclipse. She wondered who they were fighting against. Certainly not each other. Not sweet Clippy. She picked up the weapons and stored them in her room. She would find out where they were and return them. Slowly she walked back into the kitchen and poured herself a glass of wine. It was too much to take. She couldn't believe that Clip had fought against Bastet but there was nothing else that could be true. Nelphean hadn't been the culprit either. She was so confused. There was something very wrong here and she desperately needed to know what it was. She began to cry softly all the emotions joining into one. She cried for everyone she had ever known and finally when almost all of her tears were gone she cried for herself.

It often said that we are farthest from home, when we are at its door. Elias now felt the sting of that most ancient of sayings. His mind was racing with so many thoughts, who was he going to find at that place which was once his home? Would they take him back with open arms or shun him as the monster which he now was? There was only way to find out, at that was to knock. But as he stood comtemplating the massive door, with its intricate Pheonix seal, the one were once Atreyu had done the most atrocious of things, he could not bring himself to knock upon it, for once in his extraordinary life, Elias Murieta was frozen with fear, and th three beautiful girls which had been placed under his care could only look upon his face, as this massive man stood there like a whimpering girl.

Elias's body shot out like a rocket as his cloak fell silently to the ground. Elias voice was harsh and cold, "Girls I need you to step into the home and wait for my return." He spoke silently and the girls knew what this voice was, there was someon out there in the untold darkness of the woods out to hurt them once more. They listened and opening the door went inside. It was the youngest Michiko who stood silently at the door step, clutching in her grasp a doll which Elias had made for her, a single tear rolling down her young face. She had grown attached to the young man, and she hoped the would return soon, so many of the poeple she loved died, and she was tired of being alone. Rising slowly upon the massive black stead, he pushed the creature hard and dissapeared into the darkness of the forest. Leaving the three young girls terrified in an empty house.

Elias's and the horse moved as fast as ligthing, they arrived at an opening in the think sea of green which was the forest, as always the rain was silently falling from the sky, Elias drooped slowly from his horse, who bucked and knied as its master moved to the center of the clearing, the large black Naginata Staff with its painted blood red rose held tightly in his grasp. Through his white blank eyes he looked around him, he could see the soldiers atop ther horses. THere bodies adorned it glorious royal armor. When Elias spoke, his voice was that of a fearsome warrior. "I will not allow you to step one fot upon Lady Aura's home." he spoke, but no one spoke or moved, the world around him was silent. Elias knew that someone was coming out of the shadows, towards him, the steady click of metal as it tapped against the warm flesh of a mighty horse. It seemed that upon this rainy clearing the blood of ighty warriors would be shed again, the cycle of life and death, Elias Murietaunderstood one thing, that before peace there must first be war.

Elias stood still and silent as watched the warrior step out from the shadows. His body was covered in shimmering silver armor, as well as the elogant black horse which he rode upon. He held his long raven black hair tied in a long red silk lace. He held his long slender body like man which had been breed from youth to be nothing more than a royal night. His ice blue eyes looke down at Elias like a man would look down upon a stray dog. Elias could not help but smile at this as the warrior stepped down from his horse. For a moment there was a perfect silence between the two, it was ultimately the unknown royal knight who broke the eerie silence."My name is Lucretius De la Vega, I have come for the girls." when Lucretius spoke his voice was harsh and distant, Elias knew that this was not going to be an easy fight to win. "I cannot let you, pass I was given the job to protect those children, you must first end my life before you can take them." Elias said as his body arched and he placed his weapon in both his hands, Lucretius knew that Elias was a true warrior, this was going to be a truely powerful fight. When Elias spoke Lucretius listened and he loved what he heard. "We are both children of warfare, and in the end we now one thing above all else, a war is not decided by the size of the armies but the indiviual fights between warriors, so I challenge you to a duel, no magic, no armies, just the skills of two children of war. Let us play our parts in this endless Waltz, and let our blades choice the destiny of both our worlds." Elias said looking directly into the eyes of the shimmering silver knight.
