Nelphean turned his head towards the aggitated Nailah, "Calm down..." Nelphean tilted his head, and a moment later, created an over abundence of joy. Amplified with a mid-power spell...
"Let's have some cheese cake, or oranges."
"Oranges?" Taria paused, "Oh, the Orange fruit you brought to us." Taria had never tasted that fruit before, and it was so delicious.

Nailah felt overwhelming joy and used it to block out the worry Clip was emanating. She looked over at Nelphean and said "Thanks. I don't know why but I've been so sensitive ever since the ...." she trailed off. Then she looked towards the kitchen. "Well come on then. I assume you need help eating again Nel?" she asked. She really was grateful for his help. She just wished she could get her damn powers under control.

Nelphean smiled, "It is always nice to have a helping hand."
Taria just stared in disbelief... "How did you.."
"Nailah has been having emotional overloads, and when I heard her heart beating too fast, I assumed something was overpowering her senses, so I made a counter emtion to clogue it.... Oh, she's a Jedi."
"A what?"
"A mage who can sense feelings."
"Oh.."

Niah blinked. "I've never heard it called that before. Jedi huh? I usually just say I'm an empath but whatever you understand. Shall we go to the kitchen? Taria have you ever had cheesecake?"

Niah shook her head and grabbed Talia by the arm. "Oh it is the most heavenly thing you will ever taste. Especially Saradin's. He's quite the hero around here for it." She pulled Talia along after looping the girl's arm through her own and entered the kitchen. "Coming Nel?" she called back as she disappeared through the door wiht Taria.

Nelphean laughed as he walked into the kitchen, tryign to remember where everything was... He could hear the humming of the 'refridgerator', so he knew where the table was realitive to it. The illusion of Nailah with angelic wings was still in the kitchen.
Taria accepted the arm, an followed the young woman into the kitchen, where she was shocked by all the magical devices they had gathered in one room..."What kind of laboritory is this?"

Nailah saw herself with wings and stopped her eyes widening. "Nelphean?! Would you care to explain what that" she gestured widely "is doing here?" She was a bit shocked at seeing herself with wings. She turned to look at him her eyes slightly narrowed.

She shook her head and said "It's a little disconcerting to see myself..." Then she walked over to the fridge and pulled it open pulling out the cheesecake. "Hmm Nel I don't see any oranges here."

"Its like looking in the mirror, but its three dimensional." Nelphean laughed, then was silenced by the lack of oranges. "Another interesting 'Earth' fruit?"
Taria waved her hand through the image, dispelling it. "Come now father, I think you need to tell this girl the truth."
"That was the truth, I was explaining illusions to Khenu, and he has a crush on Nailah, so I made the image of her." Nelphean said with ease.

Niah almost dropped the plate of cheesecake. "K-khenu has a c-crush on me? He does not. I would have felt it." She whirled around and looked at Nelphean. "Just where are you getting your information from Nelphean?"

"Hundreds of years of experience. I am pretty shure you agree with me too now, and what is wrong about a 10 year old having a crush on you. Its not exactly like he will try to suduce you." Nelphean said calmly. "The first hint was when he got angry with me for being a 'player', and the second clue was the bow, and the third was actually the image of you I made." Nelphean shook his head.
"Black and white, and all the other colours, you humans should be more open to these things."
"Don't kill the cheese cake father." Taria said in responce to the almost accident.

Niah sighed and put two slices of cheesecake on two plates."I really think you're wrong about this." She grabbed two forks and walked over handing one to Taria and holding the other. She cut a piece and held it up to Nelpheans lips. "Here you go."
