She sat back and composed herself, as she watched him lay upon the springy grass. She gave a slight grin as if trying not to smile. "Well as long as you don't turn him into a weak fumbling idiot....." She trailed off and twitched her tail around her feet. "I don't exactly fancy taking care of a broken, annoying lion. If you know what I mean." She smirked and then laid down opposite him, still keeping her distance. She hadn't forgotten that feeling she had had when he was inside her mind. Like he could see into her, and she liked to keep her thoughts to herself.
For a split second she thought she had seen his face contort in anger but perhaps she was mistaken. She shrugged and continued to watch him with renewed interest as he made himself comfortable. She was getting comfortable herself until he said those words she hated so much.
Her body tensed as she stared at him. "Nervous? Of you?" She scoffed and shook her head with a smirk playing across her maw. "I think your losing your touch for reading emotions." She arched her eyebrows as she looked over at his form. "And as thrilled as I am that you care, I'm not too worried about you biting." She winked and twitched her tail, "I'd bite back." She flashed her fangs in a sarcastic smile and crossed her paws in front of her.

*Nala smiled and moved herself to walk across the pride lands, very slowly. Her eyes seemed to close every now in then. She was indeed tired. Stopping to take a sip out of the pride lands watering hole Nala looked around. She was going to find a good place for this- she thought as he left Leo's side and moved herself around. Looking for a place to start a family.*

Leo followed Nala's lead staying close enough to her for support but far enough back to give her space. He still couldn't quite believe he was going to be a father. What if he messed up? He sighed, well he would learn. He was so excited that the nervousness he was feeling came second.

"Oh .. I wouldn't be the one responsible for turning him into that."
He raised a brow to her .. nodding confidently to his words. "He takes that title all by himself."
Oh, she was so unique .. he adored it. Even her coloring was perfect to him, he really was surprised he had stumbled across this bunch of lions. Perhaps he would stay here a while .. Hopefully they wouldn't mind. Well, of course they wouldn't. Who would not want Mirage around? Mwahaha.
He was having such an entertaining time listening to her talk .. and her last few words were what perked his interest most. As soon as she finshed, he pushed himself up .. and swiftly made his way to lay next to her. His tail moved around her lower body, and he trailed the tip of it along her spine. He knew that there was so much strength wound tightly underneath her dark colored fur .. the muscles were hiding until needed .. he wanted to see them in action. Perhaps he would invite her to hunt soon.
"Bite back..? Really." He was starting to be pulled in by her charm.
"It would seem like we have switched roles. You are the mind reader now.." He matched that fanged smile .. he wanted to see what she was really capable of. His mind was focused on her now .. he almost forgot all about the other two lions.

She grinned and shook her head slowly back and forth. Poor Leo, he's never going to know what hit him.
She tensed as he got up and laid down beside her too fast for her to react. He was much too close to her for comfort and she was about to move away when she felt his tail lightly slide along her back. She gave a quick intake of breath and then stared up at him through her dark blue eyes. She raised an eyebrow at him and smirked, "Really." She said softly as she gazed at his shimmering mane. After what felt like hours, but was in reality only a few seconds, she pulled herself together and yanked her eyes from his.
She laughed to herself, he was good, she had to give him that. She had almost..... but that was enough. She stood up and with a little bit of will power moved back a few paces. It was easier to think straight when she wasn't near him. She grinned and flicked her tail lightly over her back legs. "Sorry to dissapoint you Mirage but I don't think I'll be biting you any time soon." She grinned wider, knowing how he would interpret that.
She sat back on her haunches trying to forget the way his tail had felt on her spine and focus on other things instead..... like his dark coat.... and deep eyes.... Stop it!! She commanded herself as she shook her head to clear it. He is doing this on purpose, he does it to everyone. It means nothing. Regaining herself she stared back at him confidently and steadily.

Each of Piper's movements were studied closely. Every breath, every twitch of her tail, every movement of her muscles entered Mirage's mind like a calculation, and he was attempting to find the answer to the solution. It would be found one day, although he dearly wished it were now. Time would only make the end sweeter, he reminded himself.
He wondered why she initially resisted .. but he was very glad that she did so. It made him just want to focus on her more and more .. If new females happened to come by at this time, he would have completely blown them off, which was very unlike him. Searching his thoughts, he tried to come up with something that would break the tension, and yet at the same time, let him see how fierce Piper could truly be.
"Why don't we go have some fun?" He nodded while raising his brow. Mirage let those words linger within her mind, so that her imagination could trail to what the meaning could be behind them.
"I would enjoy nothing more than to hunt with you right now." A smile was given, as he stood up and walked up to her again .. His paw was extended outwards, the pads turned up and offered. "That is, if you accept my invitation?"

Piper watched him just as he watched her. There was something about him... even though he obviously had a major ego problem, and he was prone to seduce anything in his path.... there was still something.... She couldn't help but feel drawn to him somehow, no matter how much she resisted.
"Fun?" She cocked an eyebrow as her mind thought of hundreds of different possiblities. She grinned as she figured out he meant hunting. Oh he was a mischievous one. Still grinning, her eyes flicked to his extended paw and she took a deep breath. Well, it's not like she was scared of him.
Gently she rested her own paw upon his and looked him straight in the eyes. "If you think you can handle it." She said with a slight smirk as she confidently got to her feet.

*Moving herself rather slowly Nala eyed just about ever spot I the pride lands. She knew she wanted her cubs to be born here, but she had to find the perfect place to bring them into the world. Her eyes closed as she sighed, very lightly. Her cream colored coat seemed to shine as she moved herself out of the sun and under the shade of a rather old tree; it stood about 15 feet tall, and its branches extended out about 5 feet all over. She smiled and looked back at Leo.*
"This is it."
*She nodded and rested her head on her paws, before taking in a light breath of air. Her tail moved to curve around her side as she smiled to herself, feeling rather proud now.*

Leo watched as Nala picked over every place in the lands and then smiled as she turned to him to let him know she had found somewhere. He came under the shade of the great tree and laid down beside her. "This is perfect Nala."
He smiled down at her and nuzzled her neck, keeping her warm with his body. "I can't wait to see what they will look like, and if they are all healthy." He looked up into the branches of the old tree and grinned. "I can't believe I'm going to be a father." He looked back down at her and licked her forehead. "Are you nervous?"

"We shall see, won't we?"
He curled his paw around Piper's, squeezing it hard .. but not too much, just enough to let her know he was eager to start hunting. Releazing and letting her paw move down to the ground .. Mirage was off! He was running quickly in the direction that he recalled the gazelle and antelope migrating, the same area he was before he had wandered into the pride lands.
His muscles moved like liquid beneath his tightened skin, each curve buldged outwards and then sank back into himself. It was quite a unique sight, strength seemed to ooze out of him as he ran. The grass bowed down beneath his massive paws, and he curled his tail upwards, so it wouldn't get in the way. He was nearing the Mainlands.

"A little..."
*Nala moved herself up, as if to make sure Leo could hear her. She smiled before speaking again.*
"I wonder if I should tell Sarafina...?"
*Nala stopped and let the thought go. It was her life now and she was going to do as she pleased. Moving herself around, Nala form lay in front of Leo's as she licked his cheek, before resting her head down. Her paws pushed up as she sighed one last time, before moving herself into a light nap, her head just under Leo's.*

Piper grinned at him and then took off in his footsteps as he ran after their future meal. She hadn't had a good hunt in a while and she was looking forward to this. Especially since the view from here wasn't bad either.... She smirked as she watched Mirage's muscular form work. Her own body responding as well.
She could feel her legs power as the stretched to catch up with him. As she pulled along side him she flashed him an excited grin and then turned back, her hair and tail whistling behind her.
Leo grinned down at her, "I'm a little nervous too, but I'm sure we will be fine." He gently rubbed his head against hers and decided not to say anything about her comment about her mother. It was a touchy topic with her lately and he didn't want to upset her in her condition.
He lay his head down lightly on top of hers but kept his eyes open and alert, watching over her as she slept.

Tyme took her time, savoring the cool water at her feet. Sitting down, she grazed her tail across the clean surface, watching the ripples as they grew. A small herd of twenty zebra watched her closely, grazing and drinking. She could see the shadows of fish as they too tried to excape her view. No matter how she looked at it, the waterhole was lifeless.
Rising from her seat, Tyme shook her tail dry and slowly walked away. "Good bye mom, see you when I see you again... I guess." And that was it. No long speeches, no nothing. It was done. Tyme smirked a little sadly to herself. What an anti-climatic ending no?

*Nala awoke to a slight pain she felt within her stomach. Her eyes closed tightly as she moved herself around, so that her back faced Leo's resting form. What was going to become of her after this? How could she tell her mother? Sighing the lioness closed her eyes once more, doing her best to get some well needed rest.*

Tyme flicked her tail and looked at the green grasslands. Yeah, it would probrably be so much easier to hunt here... She yawned and looked torwards the Mainlands. Wonder where everone else is... It had been a while since she had seen Nala, and she mine as well visit since she was already there. Making her way torwards the large rock and old tree, Tyme began to sniff around. Usually Nala would already be out or something. "Nala?" she called, a little uncertain.
