River turns, 'surprised' and says "OH! There you are! You did an awesome job of hiding, Miji!" She then taps his nose, teasingly. "You're it!" She giggles, and dives into the water, lightly splashing him.

Miji laughs and wrinkles his nose playfully, wiggling it at the light poke. "Hey!" he yelps indignantly, though he was still laughing a little, and dives in after her. Forget Hide-and-Seek; this was war now!

River burbles with laughter, swimming faster now, her tail flickering happily. "Can't catch me!" She calls back to him.

"Ha!" Momiji laughed, his eyes narrowing in mischevious determination as he swam after her. "Yes, I can!" He called in reply, kicking off of a rock in passing to help him move forward.

River laughs again, and swims to the right, her eyes bright and happy. This was FUN, for sure!

Miji squeals, despite having a bit of trouble following her turn in the water. "I'll swim as fast as I can! You're no gingerbread man!" He called out in a slightly sing-song voice (but who wouldn't with that phrase?)

"But maybe I'll swim faster!" She calls back, and dives under the water for a minute, bubbles the only clue were she was, or had been.

"No way!" he laughed, the reaction almost automatic. He tried to follow her, but couldn't stay under very long. His eyes were bright as he surfaced and floated, keenly watching his surrounding. And while he couldn't hear her, his ears quivered in playful excitement.
He paid close attention to the water around him. He didn't want pulled under! Well... not really, anyway... Maybe... He bet it would be fun!

Suddenly, River splashes up out of the water behind him and pulls him into a hug, laughing out "Can't catch me cause I caught you!"
