All I got is "is it not? do you understand Japanese"

Hi heart My names Miranda. I'm fifteen on the thirty-first of July, 2007. I live near all the real science-driven companies. (Including Huntsville U.S Space and Rocket Center & Boeing, I think...) About 75% of students at my school have at least 1 parent in a science career. I bet you can infer my beliefs or philosophies tend to center around science. My interests lie in science (mostly biochemistry), Anime & Manga, and the arts. I like talking politics and religion. (expecially religion) My religion I'm unsure of, but I think I'm atheist... sweatdrop My mother and sister are purely agnostic (as far as I know), and my dad is half agnostic/ half buddhist. It's pretty interesting to watch.... ^____^ Feel free to PM me with questions or comments or randomness (I don't mind at all) I really don't know where I stand on some things, but I'll figure it out, ok?

Hello, I'm Second Hand Opinion. You can call me whatever you like as long as it isn't too mean.
I like to think of myself as a fairly nice guy. I REALLY like music, and have odd tastes in it. Mostly two tone and third wave ska. With some house music thrown in. (Not the TV show. >>)
My opinions I'm told are very liberal. I'm a strong believer in personal rights. I know my opinions may will conflict with some peoples. But I hope we can still be friends, or at least decent to one another.
I have none of my pets at the moment, but my sister does have a cat.
I am taken, by a wonderful girl. (Sorry people. xD ) Whom I love very much.
Also, I live in Canada. A shout out to Canadians.

My real name is CJ. and I live in Portland Oregon. I was born into a VERY Republican family (my old man ran for State senate a few years ago and almost won) but I didn't take to it very well. Politics was such a large part of my family's life that I didn't want anything to do with it. When I graduated high school and started "finding myself" I discovered that I am a Centrist on most issues, Liberal on one, and Conservative on one. I'm what I call a Neo-Libertarian: I believe that people should have social freedoms, but government involvement is fine so long as those freedoms aren't interrupted.
I am Pro-Choice, but I feel that abortion clinics must meet the same standards as all other medical facilities- so I support many of the regulations being placed on abortion clinics.
I am Agnostic, but I acknowledge that Christianity has done FAR more good than harm to our world, so I usually stick up for them when someone starts a "Why Jesus=Hitler and Christians are Nazis" thread.
I am a tentative supporter of Gay Rights. I feel that this segment of the population must be given the ability to live as everyone else lives, but not at the expense of causing massive civil unrest by doing so before the public is ready. I for one feel that a repeat of the 1960's is not what this situation calls for.
I think Iraq was not the right thing to do. But we did it, and we have to make sure we do it right. Running now means we come back in 4 years. Not that I have a better idea...
I think that military action against Iran is only a matter of time. When, not if.
I think that Chinese military intervention in N Korea is only a matter of time. When, not if.
I feel that American Citizens with clean background checks should be able to own whatever weapons system they desire. If you want a .50 CAL, and you check out, I see no reason not to give you a .50 CAL. If you want a decommissioned Tank, you should be able to purchase it provided that you are trained in it's use.
I guess I'm a 1970's Republican wink

The username says "NachoManLance", but I go by Lance or NachoMan, whatever sounds cooler to you guys. I'm 18 years old, live in San Jose, California, and had just recently graduated from high school and STILL looking for a job >.< I plan to work until next year and move to San Diego, where I aspire to take film classes and get into a career of filmmaking or screenwriting.

I am Taki. I would tell you guys my real name, it's just that I'm a fourteen year old girl who lives with parents that watch the news and see all these internet predators and child rapists on the loose. I watch lots of Terry Gillam movies, so if I say strange things you can blame him. I am a very much supporter of good grammar and spelling, which drove me away from gaia for a while. This is actually my glorious return. As for religious and political orientation, I would perfer not to have to choose for as long as I can.
I have many wordly things (some that I like and a lot that I don't) but by far my most prized possesion would be my fender bass guitar, named Lady Macbeth.

My name is boring. I prefer Nookie, and most people will most likely call me that instead of looking at my profile, which has a long list of other stuff about me. Mrah.
I'm five days away from turning 18 and I am looking forward to it.
I'm Conservative when it comes to money, and a touch Libral when it comes to ethics. Just a touch. Religion-wise, I'm a bit disturbed by some of the Bible, and Buddhism was too sexist for my tastes. No, I'm not a nazi-feminist. I don't want a religion where females are all powerful, or even equal to men. I just want to find a religion that makes no differentiation between genders whatsoever because I just don't feel that gender should be important for religion. Hm... might make a thread about this later...
I would just like to add that I am very happy about this guild! 3nodding

My name is Aelita, and I'm being serious about that. I guess for anything you are in doubt of about me, ask Dion Necurat.
I'm here because I'm tired of the growing amount of garbage appearing in the forums I frequent on Gaia, and seeming like I'm the only person who cares about it. Upon seeing the varied banners for this guild, I decided to join and have been accepted, much to my thanks.
I'm also here because I'm tired of having what I believe to be valid points either ignored or torn to pieces. I take time when crafting a post, and I don't like seeing it systematically destroyed so effortlessly and without remorse.
I'm an altruist, which means I am compelled to care for people. Unfortunately, this also means I am terrible in debates. Again, what I type, I do believe, and to have it shredded is admittedly hurtful. I try not to be overly opinionated, at least on most issues, and for the ones where I do hold very strongly to one side, I avoid the discussion entirely.
I came here in hopes that a fruitful discussion might be had, where the participants don't spend pages upon pages on ad hominem, but rather provide more constructive comments, to either enlighten the other, or benefit the community as a whole. Isn't that part of why this guild broke off from Extended Discussion?

My name is Xal. I'm undefined. I'm 20.
I pretend to be a programmer a lot but really I just exchange youtube videos with Simonsmith at 5 AM because there's really nothing else on the internet. I'm big on LBGT rights, as evinced from my profile and various other interactions I have with the mirror on certain days.
I live in NYC which contributes much to my worldview and I attend NYU, which summarily takes it all away.
It's a pleasure to meet you all.

Hey, I'm Shiyiya, Shi for short. The n00bs in the ED are driving me MAD. Like all the tl;dr idiots who looked at the title of my friend BlairVoyant's thread and automatically assumed he was a homophobe.... but that's not the point. I am also so bleeding sick of the trolls, like three eyed willie lulz, and a black person, and trollin on ur turf, and Alejanda Pedros, or whatever her name was.... ugh. I'm looking forward to having intelligent debates without n00bs popping in doing idiotic things. I'm also a member of 3G, as you can see from my signature, so pardon me if I'm a little a**l about spelling and grammar. On the bright side, I will NEVER EVER post anything in chatspeak, and if I do, it means someone has hacked my account. Which I hope never ever happens. Well, I'm rambling, so, I guess I'll cut this off. Thanks for accepting me, see you around!

My first introduction. I feel weird writing this, but whatever sweatdrop .
My name is Sandra, and I'm a 16 year old living in Las Vegas (Which I love 3nodding . It's a haven for insomniacs). I attend the very high school Jamie Jameson attended when she lived in Las Vegas, and I have a wide pool of interests. I play the violin, read a bit (Not as much as I used to), watch anime, read manga (In fact, I have the BSSM manga in Japanese, even if I can't read it), listen to music, and go to the debates in ED.
My views are liberal. Gay marriage, the legalization of marijuana and such are fine with me, and abortion. I like to debate on ED and reading up on certain issues before getting an opinion. To me, knowledge is power, and I soak it up like a sponge.
I volunteer at the library on Tuesdays and Thursdays at the library, and I love it. It can get boring at times but there are many benefits to it. You get to interact with people and help them out.
