Brayden couldn't help laughing at the appearance of the Pelipper. "Looks like we've got a family or something." He motioned for Cye to get out of the water. "Just a quick battle, then you can go back to swimming, I promise," Brayden smiled. "Let's win this!"

"Okay, Cye, let's use Ice Fang!" Brayden requested from the Feraligatr. Cye nodded, chomping down onto the Wingull, a chilly bite that left parts of ice clinging to the bird's wings.

The Wingull squawked indignantly, striking back with a Water Pulse that knocked Cye back a few paces.

"Okay, we've got him at least struggling a bit, let's use another Ice Fang to weaken him further," Brayden instructed.

Taking the opportunity left by the strike, Brayden threw a Great Ball towards the weakened bird. He was unable to escape after a brief struggle, and Brayden picked up his new partner from the wet grass with a smile.

"That was a good battle," Chloe smiled. "Looks like we're up now. Come on, Aki!" The Jolteon looked up from his puddle play for a moment, before grinning, dashing up to face off against the Pelipper.

"Okay, Aki, use a Thundershock!" Chloe instructed. The Jolteon nodded with another grin, releasing the pent up static stored in his fur in a blast of lightning at the flying type.

The Pelipper cawed, clearly not pleased with the electric type, as he released a Water Pulse that blasted Aki. The Jolteon shook his fur to relieve it from some of the water, as he awaited Chloe's next command.
"Okay, use another Thundershock!" Chloe smiled, "We've got him on the run!"

Chloe then threw a Great Ball at the bird. Too weakened to fight back, the ball lay still after a very brief struggle, and Chloe smiled, as she sent the Pelipper to her box.
