As soon as the smell came to me it was gone. At first I just brushed it off, kept taking pictures and laughing at/with Josie, and of course went over my pictures tons of time to find teh perfect ones. But then I remembered what the others had told me, that smell... there was nothing else like it. I had to tell Josie now. Risking her was not good enough of a reason to keep my secret. Well here goes nothing. "Josie, I have to tell you something... just don't loose it or somthing?" Inside I was laughin, if anyone was about to loose it ... well it would probably be me.

Bella burst out on them before Carrie could say much. "I-I'm sorry..." she muttered. She touched Carrie's arm. "May I speak to you for a moment?" Her golden eyes cut into her as she stared at her face. "It's important..." she said in short, chopped syllables. She gripped her wrist. "Now."

Carrie froze at her touch. Standing up she smiled at Josie. "Just a second..." SHe walked a little ways away from her and said "WHat... I was just about to..."

"I know what you were about to do." Bella interrupted, holding up a hand to forstall her. "I came to make sure that you didn't do something you will regret later..."
Bella released her wrist, knowing how her cold touch must feel. "There are things you need to watch out for."

"How can I regret telling her the truth?" I couldn't really understand where she was coming from. Josie told me everything and expeccted the some of me. "What on earth do I need to watch outfor?"

"Ever smell something that you would just love to sink your teeth into??" Bella lifted her eyebrow, already knowing the answer. "I'll give you three guesses to find out where that smell comes from...first two don't count..."

"I know... they talked to me..." I couldn't help but glance over at Josie. None of this was suppose to happen yet. "I thought this wasn't ever going to happen... I don't want to be either or..."

Bella patted her shoulder. "I understand why you have to tell her, just break it to her easy." She gave Carrie a sympathetic look. "And make sure she knows how to keep a secret."

Carrie and I were having a blast with her camera on the way to the orchard. I love it when she smiles. Nothing can make her anymore happier than that little piece of technology. It probably isn’t the right time for me to bring up her worries now when she is at her happiest of moods. As if she read my thoughts Carrie had stopped all that she was doing. She looked at me with the most unfathomable expression. Those green eyes of hers were full of lust as she looked onto me. A lust I can’t decipher. She then begun to tell me all what was going on, but only to be interrupted by a voice. A girl’s voice. The voice belonged to the girl who I had encountered with moments ago. Carrie was soon dragged out of my sight before I could even say a word.
This is a very rude thing for me to do, but I have to know. What is keeping Carrie away from me? What is causing all this tension and distracting her from her usual cheerfulness? I hid myself behind a pair of bushes listening in to what is being said.

"Thanks" Nodding I turned back towards Josie, If only this could all disappear. I'd be as clumsy as ever, and and enjoy being my uniqe self. But none such luck. "Sorry about that..."

Bella stayed close, not caring if they wanted a moment alone. She wasn't letting Carrie out of her sight know that she knew she had a craving. Josaline wouldn't stand a chance.
"Don't mind me." she said, taking a position behind Josaline so she could watch Carrie's face.

I didn't understand a thing that was said between the two of them. It just got more and more confusing.
The next thing I knew the girl was behind me gesturing for Carrie to tell me.
"Carrie I don't know what's wrong or what this is about, but you know you can trust me,"giving her a reassuring smile,"I'll always be by your side no matter what and you know that."

Ah, no she was going to be watching my every move. "Okay..." I closed my eyes and put my hands up to my face. "I'm almost a vampire and your going to have to be really careful around. BUt right now I'm only a half so were good... ish. And If I change completely I'm going to be with the others and not here... thats whats been bothering me and I'm sorry I kept that big of a secarte" As usual I spok way to fast but thankfuly Josie usual caught all of it so I wouldn't have to repeat myself.

Bella pressed her lips together, trying to supress the smile that threatened to break her face in two. It wasn't humorous to anyone but her, she was sure. But Victor always did say that she had a strange sense of humor.
She cleared her throat to cover her reaction and let the drama unfold.
