Devon looked at the map while he ran his tongue along his teeth, getting the last remnants of the tiramisu down his throat. He looked up at Pugsley and the male servant blankly before suddenly giving an intentionally goofy and awkward smile.

Tanner sighed when she got into her room and let Sara derobe her and hang up the silver kimono, bringing back a soft peasant skirt and tank top in black and gray...she dismissed the girl with a wave of her hand and went to sit in the window seat, looking out over the grounds

After Devon was finished at the table, he had gone for a walk outside, circling the pool seeing if he could spot his shirt at the bottom. Tanner was on his mind though. While he was half wondering where she'd gone off too, he was also thinking about their relationship, which he found rather troubling, seeing as how it wasn't what he expected. His face showed all his conflict as he strolled around outside.

Tanner's eye was caught by movement as she looked out the window, she looked for the source and saw Devon, wandering by the pool...She smiled softly, glad to see he was comfortable enough to make it around on his own.

Devon sat next to the pool. He was used to having to work, and then he would avoid the work, and then focus on not getting caught and made to work. He was feeling rather odd and unsure what to do with himself.

suddenly Devon felt a soft tap on his shoulder, it was Sara "Miss Tanner requests your presence in her rooms....but said you have to find your own way there."

Devon looked up, "Rooms?" He stood up and looked at the house. "Okay then..." He said as he started walking inside. He turned back at Sara... "Bedroom, right?" He asked confused, he figured they were all 'her rooms'.

Tanner jumped slightly and looked up

Devon blinked stupidly. He glanced around, wondering how he was going to say his next thought, and suddenly became worried about his tendancy to spit things out... wrong.
"Why am I here?" He asked carefully, "I mean... um, why did you bother spending money on me?" He paused as he pieced together his next sentence in his mind, "I'm not trained to be company. I don't think I'm good at it."
