At least in my opinion, yan-yan isn't as sweet tasting as Pokcy is and the flavor is just... off. I'm not really sure how to describe it. I just like Pocky better.

Koukon_Tenshi darthwillow They also carry yan-yan, but I'll never make the mistake of trying that again. Well there's nothing wrong with yan-yan, it's just not that much like pocky despite it's appearance. The sticks are thicker and rather oily and the cream seemed a little waxy, but perhaps that's because it wasn't stored well? Anyway, it's just a matter of taste I guess.

I buy pocky at a japanese supermarket called Mitsuwa. My favorite flavor is strawberry!

Where do you buy your pocky? Suncoast and Chinatown..or anywhere I find it.
How did you find your favorite flavor? I bought it to try it out, and loved it.
Did a friend show you it? No, but I think a friend was talking about it...or maybe my friend's sister. I can't remember.
Did you just try it out one day and found Pocky love? Yes'm
