Archmage I don't really know. We were radio station surfing in Dickie's car, and couldn't find anything good, so Dickie and Suzanne (being the "music" people that they are) were having an in-depth discussion of the current state of pop and rock. The song was some loudly screamed proclamation of [insert whatever kids are angsting about these days.] I'm not certain but I think the name of the band may have been Linkin Park Clone #47. Suzanne said that in response and I thought it was both clever and funny. I don't know the song, but the band was Sum 41. Which is to say not Pop Metal but Light Punk. While I am not a fan of Sum 41 (Clearly a rip off of Blink 182 which was ripped off of Green Day which ripped off the Dead Milkmen) I do dig the song, the one that talks about Supersizing Tragety or something. We started talking about Nu-Metal. Which I guess wants to be German or something. It is Pop Metal. A mixture of attitute, fast guitars, and the mainstream. Stainless Steel fits very well I do believe.
