Fate walked down the hallway to the Queen's room, her heavy boots weighing her small figure down. She viewed the small crowd outside the door,"They must love their queen." Fate walked out on a nearby balconey and pulled out a small bottle of liqour.

*Yawgmoth once more found himself staring at the doors. A pain in his heart as he stood there. Feeling more and more anger about him the more he stared* You...You broke your promise to me. I have not seen you in months my queen. I have changed. And I am at a point where I can no longer bare the burden you've placed upon my shoulders..... You asked me to watch Hell for you. I think I've done it. and I care not what they say none of them have risked what I have for you. I have put my life, my love, my very planet on the boarder line to keep this place safe for you. So why...why won't you even show your face to me! *he screams out at the door as tears spill from his blue eyes splashing on the floor* Reassure me that what I'm doing is right! that I'm not doing this just to end up going crazy. Show yourself to me! Let me at least know that I'm not serving a leader who hides behind a door! Let me at least know that you're even still alive Sango! *he says in rage. His fists pound on the door* Answer me! *he said with another pound* Answer me!! *he said slumping down in front of the door knowing no answer would come* answer me.... *he said with a sigh closing his eyes*

*Devi slowly made her way up the hallway with a slight sigh her face tired and worn. After the screaming she heard from Yawgmoth she came up and took a seat next to him and watched him for a moment before even begining to speak.* Lord Yawgmoth I know how you feel...I feel I've been betrayed by our Queen Left to fend for ourselfs. She's not been around in ages and at first she'd come around every now and then but she just stopped. Lord Yawgmoth does she not care for us anymore? *Lady Devi hung her head and closed her eyes* Lord Yawgmoth did we disappoint her? Do something wrong to upset her to make her not want to cast her eyes upon her children new and old? *She quickly stood and punched the prewter doors as hard as possible* Damn it Queen SANGO COME OUT....HAVE WE SHAMED YOU? DO YOU HATE US? NOT WANT TO LOOK AT US ANYMORE? YOU SHOULDN'T LEAVE US LIKE THIS DAMN IT YOU HAVE TO TELL US SOMETHING! *Devi sank back down beside Yawgmoth and she once agian hung her head*

No devi...you don't know how I feel...you can't possibly understand. Yes I know she entrusted you with the same job she did me. But...it's not the same. Ask yourself...how many times you've seen me fight here...ask yourself how many times I have been willing to die for Hell, for you, for Akai for everyone....Ask yourself...how much of myself I have given to do a simple task...then maybe you will understand...why I need to see my queen....otherwise. I'm taking Akai and we're leaving...I just..can't handle the burden anymore

Do you think I've not been willing to do all of the same damn things Lord Yawgmoth? I've let my own daughter be taken away just so I can stay here and help with this place...help Queen Sango keep it "Alive"...You have a Wife Lord Yawgmoth...I've had to let many things in my life go just so that I could preform my Duty to the Queen..*She softly growled and watched him for a moment* DO NOT think for one second you've lost anymore then any of the rest of some of us because you haven't. You haven't the clue what the hell I've done while you're away...how many people I've had to help, how many times I've had to fight with you because you're "someone else" How many times I've acted like I was ok but I felt like I was dead on the inside just so that people wouldn't worry. YOU know what YOU'VE been through I know what I'VE been through....you can't sit and tell me that I don't know how you feel because I good and damn well. Ask yourself how many times I've actully died for hell? Just so that something wouldn't happen to its enhabitence...I've not died once Lord Yawgmoth...How many times Have I jumped right in there when someone is hurt and needs help and others stand around gawking? HUH? How many times have I put others before myself how many Yawgmoth how many? Hell you don't know because you can't seem to see me only when you need something or think something is wrong you don't see what I do...how much I help and put up behind the scenes just to keep hell going too! SO DON'T SAY I DON'T KNOW!!! *She growled and stood up and kicked the door as hard as she could*

*His eyes flickered red* YOU DON'T KNOW YOU ARE NO FIGHTER I AM THE GREAT FIGHTER, THE TITLE OF POWER WAS GIVEN TO ME BECAUSE I AM YAWGMOTH I AM THE KING OF PHYREXIA AND I AM THE STRONGEST IN HELL. *he roared out* Don't you stand there....and tell me you've put your life on the line more than me because you haven't. I don't care how much of what you do that I haven't seen. But I know I am the one who gets in fights for hell and my life. *his eyes narrowed* You have no idea. And if you do stand there and deny the fact that I have fought physically less than you I'll call you a damn liar to your face Devi. How many times have you had chunks of your flesh torn off your body in combat! How many times have you had to watch the horrid look on your lovers face when she was watching you get pummeled! Never! because I am the warrior, you are the healer....but arguing with you is pointless...Sango, if she were here, wouldn't want us this way. I don't want us this way *he said as the tear stains became apparent* I just want to know, that I'm not getting hurt, that I'm not just killing off people who attack for no reason. I need to know...that I'm doing what's right...

That is where you are wrong My Lord Yawgmoth you are no where near the strongest in hell...Maybe the strongest when it comes to thick headedness...I do no believe you could ever be the strongest in hell compaired to Akai yes Akai....Look at All she's been through yes How many times has she been ripped apart and then shrugged it off just to get her a** back up and help out with hell huh? Have you not thought about that! I am not the strongest...You're not the strongest....Death or Pointlessness, or hell even Tibbs isn't...Akai is...And always will be...She puts up with more s**t just to save hell in one day then we ever could! So stop and think about it! To answer your question Lord Yawgmoth...Only if what I've done and am doing is the right thing...*She turned and walked off as tears of anger streamed down her face*

You don't think I know what she's been through. I sleep with her. She curls against me to rid herself of her horrid nitemares. I know what my beloved has gone through. The pain she's endured just to finally find happiness in me...and yet...somehow *he said realizing just how right Devi was* she still has to push through

*She shook her head, he'd finaly figured out that he wasn't right for once that he wasn't the best and that Devi wasn't trying to say that she was, she just wanted Yawgmoth to know that he wasn't the only one, that others had gone through similar things maybe not exactly the same but similar, she softly sighed and shimmered off*

*Yawgmoth wondered down the hall and stopped, snapping his fingers he cleared the floor of the dust, and butts of cigaretts and then had the shadows bend near the massive doors and solidfy to form a chair which he sat in* I'm not leaving until I get my answers, until you speak face to face with me Sango. *he pulled his hat down over his head and started to relax*

*she emerged shamefully from her door. her head covered in a black hood and eyes to the floor. She had hoped not to have to show her humanity to anyone so she remained cloaked. Gracefully she stood against the wall staring at her feet.*
