"What the..." Kyande could hear gunshots. They were rather loud so they had to be nearby. She stood up and walked out onto the balcony. Looking over the edge she couldn't see anyone. Did they come into the apartment complex?
"Whoever is getting fired at probably needs our help. I think they came into the apartments."

StelthFox Frick, frick, frick, frick, FRICK!!! Rikku screamed in her head as she ran down dark allies, jumped trash cans, skidded around corners and leaped over fences. There she had been, just came out of the library- which was convienenly located in the worst part of town- and she spied two men leading a small girl towards a black car. One was infront of her, the other behind; pressing a cold gun to her back. She looked terrified, she couldn't have been older than ten, and it was obviouse that the men had told her 'make a sound and die.' First Rikku ripped the gun from the hind man and it floated quickly into her hand. The man shouted, shock- neither knew what was going on. Then she levitated the girl, who was now screaming, and placed her near Rikku who said, "Where ever you live, run." The girl took off. Now the men knew what was going on- then everything went wrong. They said something into their shirts- radios- and soon several black cars came racing down the roads, all filled with weapons and shadey looking men. Rikku didn't stay to see what happened next. This was Rikku's first bumb in with organized crime. Usually she just delt with the common rifraf of the city. So here she was running for her life, un able to use her power of moving objects with her mid alone because her thoughts were too scattered, being chased by bother car and man and to make things worse she heard guns behind her and in front of her. At the sound of forgin guns her pursures stopped and drove off. Oh thank God. Out of one problem and into another- such is my life, Rikku thought, but those new guns were drawing closer. She was right next to an apartment building, but apparently she wasn't the only one with this thought. A man was running towards the building as well. She got to the door, opened it, then grabbed the man mentally and pulled him inside; bolting the door. "Uh, hi?" Rikku said with a half smile.
" By the way. " He ooutstretched his hand, " the names, Joesph Wright, I'm a cop. Or something like that."

"Hu?" Kanko looked to Hawk then, His sister.
"Sis, could you stay here, I think I can try and help"
He asked, looking back to hawk.

Hawk slapped his hands to his knees to clear the grease and crumbs from his hands, the bag already resting on the table in the kitchen. He looked to the others and offered a nod.
"Alright, I'm going to check the perimeter of the apartments, going down the side wall and circling fast. Aya I ask that you get to balcony and send some fog down to the ground, make it heavy and make it thick. I'll use that as cover in case there are to many trigger-happy guys. I'm a little tired so I'm not sure I can stop let alone dodge the bullets if they start going gun-ho." He began making his was toward the balcony, checking his gear and tightening the belts on his torso.
"Kyande, take Kanko and move down the steps. I know it's a lot to ask but if they start shooting please shield him. Kyande, I know your powers are alittle hard to control but if you can try and make sure she doesn't have to dig out a bullet." Hawk announced; tugging the straps on his gloves, not bothering to look back as he swung up and over the balcony edge.

Rikku smiled at the man and said, "Well, you looked like you needed help, and I was able to provide that help. Simple as that." She looked around the foyar for ideas on how to get out of this mess. All she saw was an old dying potted plant, a dusty bench and rusty mail boxes. "Oh, and of coarse I know I could die. In this city you can die at any moment. I'm Rikku." The guns were drawing closer; Rikku's heart was beating in sync with the rounds being shot off. She looked to the man as she brushed some hair out of her face, "So, how do we make our great escape?"

Kyande nodded at Hawk then went back inside and started to head down the stairs. She ran as fast as she could go without falling down the stairs, making sure to hold onto the railing. She slowed down as she started to reach the bottom. Jumping down the last step she looked towards the two people there.
"Are either of you hurt?" There were lots of other questions that came to her mind, but they didn't matter. These people were in danger, and if they were hurt, then she could help.

"I don't know about him," Rikku said, "But I'm fine. I have know idea who the heck is shooting at us or why. Although I have a feeling that he does." Rikku wasn't sure what to do, she couldn't stop the gun men if she didn't know what they were after or how many there were. She needed more information, fast. Just then a bullet flew through a window and Rikku dropped to the floor, covering her head.

" I'm fine, for now at least, " Joe took a deep breath, " Well, there's a lot of questions and little time to answer them, I suggest we head... " He was responding to himself, as the girls were conversing, and dodged the bullet with ease. " I'm guessing that you had some followers as well, Rikku? And who are you, by the way. "

Rikku stayed crouched on the floor, "So to speak, yes." More bullets flew through the window, she screached. She was panicking, her hands trembleing, heart racing and the back of her neck glistening with sweat. She took deep breaths to slow her heart down, to find her center. She closed her eyes and focased on the stream of bullets. She jumped up and stopped the bullets; the gun men stopped, suprized at the wall of floating bullets. She then turned them around and sent them flying back to their origins; killing some, wounding others, missing most. "Where were you saying we should head?" Rikku said to Joe, taking advantage of the quiet.

The side street was mayhem, Hawk cursing as he saw several more bullets miss him and pucker the side of the building. He grimanced when he heard the faint scream within, fearing someone had been hurt. The men around him were panicing at his prescence, firing where-ever Hawk slowed. The would-be hero had already managed to take down half the group, but he was starting to hurt, his body couldn't handle this kinda effort when it was tired.
Smackeding the but of his short-swords into two men's faces he streaked and cracked about, moving at top speed. He could actaully see the bullets moving like a slow thrown ball towards him, he kept around them and managed to swiped the guns from the others. He took the things apart with a blur of his hands and side-slung the parts back one after another. Man of the men ran off swearing and ducking, holding arms that had gone numb or dragging companions the speedster had dropped early on.
He made his way over to the door and slammed it open, seeing four people in the entrance; two he knew and two he did not. He breathed hard and gestured over his shoulder to the men running off down the street. He couched and spat, the substance a bright crimson, stumbling slightly he caught himself on the railing to the steps and began to make his way up.
He stopped just long enough to speak to Kanko in a croaking soar voice, "I'm sorry but I need your place to rest for awhile."

Rikku looked behind the stranger to the men running off. She stuck her head out the door to look for anymore danger, there did not appear to be anymore assalents. At the sight of the man struggleing up the stairs she ducked under his arm, giving her body as support. The man was heavey, but Rikku distributed his weight with hers. "Where to?" She asked with a kind smile. It was diffuclut to assess how much pain this man was in due to his mask, but the state of his body wasn't good at all. When the man announced his intention of staying at the girl's place, Rikku looked to her and said, "Oh, um, I can help, you know, if you want... with, uh, wounds and such."

"I'm Kyande and this is Kanko." As soon as Kyande finished speaking bullets went flying into the room, she ducked down close to the floor, away from the bullets. Ky yelled out in pain as one hit her shoulder. Tears formed in her eyes as she felt the pain. Her body slowly forced the bullet out and began to heal. Trying to ignore the pain Kyande looked up to see Rikku closing her eyes and the bullets going back the way they came from.
Ky jumped when the door slammed open and she was very relieved to see that it was Hawk, and that the men were running away. She winced as he coughed up blood.
"Once we get back to the room I'll heal you." It would be too hard for her to do it now, with them moving and her own body being wounded. Once Hawk was laying down she would hopefully be able to heal him.

Joe looked around, " So this is where the concentration of superior humanoids is coming from. " He said under his breath. The events that streamed as the duo of girls answered his questions, and the third girl that appeared threw him off. When the fourth suprise guest appeared, the door, which Joe had been standing behind had hit him in the face, sending him to his feet. " Ow. " He rubbed his nose and just went along with whatever was going on, for now.

"You can both calm down, I only need to abit of food and sleep; running like that just hurts if I do it for two long." He said in a raspy voice to the two young woman offering him healing.
He thanked the stranger when she offered him her shoulder and helped him slowly up the steps. Hawk stopped when he heard the young man speak on the landing below. He craned his head back to look at the youth through the slits of his copper-colored faceplate.
"The boy's got a sense of humor, I have a feeling we all need a nice long talk when we get up to the apartment." Dominic commented as he moved slowly up the stairs.
