Once again, another first in Emberis' life, he was at peace. The constant pain that racked his body daily seemed to subsude as he held Nicolletta. His thoughts wondered for a moment and he thought about how their lives would be if they stayed with each other. He thought of Nicoletta's father Gabriel, hhe thought of his siblings, Cole and Katha. And lastly, His thoughts returned to Nicoletta, the only woman to ever steal his heart. She truly was an impressive woman. As they held each other, a grin crossed Emberis' face...

"So... you came back from training if I'm not mistaken. Care to show me what you've learned?"

Looking down at Nicoletta, Emberis shook his head slightly and sighed to himself.

"Sorry... this is the first time in... almost ever that I've allow someone to get this close to me, so it's going to take some getting use to."

Leaning down slightly, Emberis gave Nicoletta a kiss on her cheek and merely held her to him.

Emberis merely held Nicoletta for a while longer... he cast his mind once more to his past... and as he thought, never before had he allowed himself to get close to anyone. For nearly his entire, Emerbis had viewed the "lighter" emotions as a weakness. It seemed to Emberis that being close to his younger brother was starting to rub off on him...

"I guess we can help each other through this whole ordeal... I think we're going to need it."

Before Travis made it too far away from the roof, Katha appeared above Travis and glomped onto him, a gleeful smile on her face.

"Now Travis, It's so rude just to leave me without having some fun with me first."

Katha hugged Travis a little tighter as they flew down, her breasts pressing into his back more. She leaned up so that she was able to rub her cheek against Travis'.

With Katha still on his back and giggling to herself, freeing himself from his wings would prove to be a slight challenge. While Travis was thrashing about, Katha wormed her way so that she was now pressing her chest against Travis'... she smiled at him as in his effort to untangle himself, he was inadvertently rubbing his body against Katha's...

"Finally, some attention."

Katha gave Travis a sultry smile.

To say Katha was surprised by Travis' actions was obvious, however, she was a demon. A succubus at that, and it had been quite sometime since anyone had paid any real attention to her. Unfortunately for Travis, Katha hugged him tighter, deepening the kiss and keeping her position on top of him. A slight purr escaped her lips and she continued to kiss Travis.

Shock and fear played across Katha's face at the same time. She stared up at Travis for a moment, processing what he had just said and making sure she wasn't hearing things. At first Katha believed the this was a joke Travis was trying to pull on her, however one look into his emotions told her otherwise...

This actually scared Katha, she did not think this would happen. She thought this was just some fun she was having with Travis. Sure he was attractive, what gold dragon and elf wasn't but this was not what she had in mind. Before she knew what she was doing, Katha vanished from underneath Travis and appeared in the air a few feet away, her demon wings out and holding her in the air. She looked down at Travis with uncertainty in her eyes... a rare thing indeed for her... without a word she turned away as if scared and flew off... not knowing where to go.

"She what?!" Travis shouted. Breren just stood there, stoic as always. "How could she be gone?" He closed his eyes as if in thought. He found himself in the same spot, second after second. He opened his eyes and looked about panecedly. "Fine, I'll go after her. Both of you get in your bags and stay there until i say so." His voice was so full of conviction that neither of the cats argued. He slung the saddle bag ofer his shoulders and made sure Caox was secured. Withot further delay, he telepored to the gate.
