My favourites are Skillet and Pillar, their new albums blow your face off. Skillet has done some strange stuff, they have definetly morphed over the years.
the new CDs are such major improvements over the other material. Especially the new Skillet. I had given up on them after Alien Youth, then Collide came and just blew my expectations off the map. Same with Pillar...I wasnt going to get the new Pillar, than I heard "Bring Me Down" and was like "Wow....."

the new pillar album totally rocks. But what disappointed me was the new Kutless album. it got all soft. i mean, it is still good music and i like it, but it isn't the hard rock that made the first album great. they definetly let their producer get the best of them. It is totally a radio friendly album.

that was not the producer's fault. Are you familiar with Aaron Sprinkle's work? He's a genius producer. He has the magic touch. He can do anything. He does Demon Hunter, Starflyer 59, Dead Poetic, he did a few Eisley songs, he was MxPx's first producer...He had his own solo projects and he played in Poor Old Lu.
Note that the above artist range from hardcore to indie rock to punk rock. That the new Kutless was soft was not his fault. Blame their increasing popularity with mainstream Contemporary Christian Music. Either they decided to conform, or their label, BEC, did.

I just saw them last week on 2/9! It was a pretty sweet show. Though all the little girls with their dad's were annoying. Some angry father threatended me because I was being too wild. Gee, going wild is what you do...If you can't handle the craziness, don't bring your family into the crowd mad

concerts rock. but I hate your typical Christian shows... I like going wild and its often frowned upon at Christian concerts. Which sucks....

I like DC Talk and Toby Mac. Toby Mac is awesome, so when DC Talk split, I went to the store to get Toby Mac's first solo C.D. when it came out in stores.

DC Talks best and last great album in my opinion: Free At Last. One of the most phenomenal records of its time, and still high on my list. I don't think they ever did anything better.
