I've got a rant.
I hate my stepmom. I really do. My dad is okay, but he has his days too when he just erks me. First off, stepmom.
While my car is 'in the shop' (our front yard, my dad's a mechanic) I am using one of our other cars. The past two days it has rained hard here. Hours of rain. And afterwords i would take out the car and get parts for my car (only twice, yesterday and today). Yesterday I had left the back window down, and Amy (stepmom) told me to go put it up. Okay, my bad on my part, I admit. Today, I came back from picking up the parts, and, tho I could have sworn on my own life I rolled up all the windows, I left one down again. My bad, I take the blame for not double checking. But then she has the nerve to lecture me on how 'I know you don't take care of your own things, but you need to take care of other's things. What would have happened if it got stolen?' Okay, she's my stepmom. She only sees me every other weekend, and I usually just avoid her cuz its still kinda weird having her here, so she has no idea how I take care of my things. I got a new laptop, mac, pretty expensive, tho we got a great discount on it. It slipped of the couch in my room about twice. The third time it fell off and the hard drive protection kicked in and the computer acted like it had frozen (technically it did, it stopped reading the hard drive so when it fell it wouldn't scratch the hard drive). I cried when I thought it had broken for good. I don't cry at all, or ever, so it was a big deal. And they were, still do, act like I don't take care of my things at all.
Now my dad. He, I only have a few tishes with. First off, we got me a sunroof a while ago to install in my car (the one thats currently broken, i'll get to that later) and its been sitting on my bed now for a while. I got that back before i started dating hufa (irl). We are now nearing our 11 month annaversary. Its rediculous. And, for Xmas. I never get a lot of things now that Emily and Nick came along (spawns of him and Amy). I usually get a few clothes, and one big present. This year, I had gotten to pick it out. I was going to get some nice LED undercar neon kits. That was for last xmas. I still haven't seen hide nor hair of them. THEN, he has the effin nerve to tell me that he would be decking my whole car out, $800 rims, neons everywhere, body kits, everything, if I only took care of my car. When I'm at my mother's house, I wash that care every effin week. It broke down, of course its gunna look at lil dirty. Then, the owners of the car I'm currently using came down to visit and work on another car we have of theirs. My dad tells him that if I don't get to work on my car that he is going to just plain sell it as it is. Okay, I'm the one who effing asked him to work on the car and he said 'We can't, we don't have the parts' and never even attempted to look for them.
Finally, my last tish with my dad is this whole effing summer. This wasted summer. This is my last summer to be a kid, and I wanted to do the teen thing and have a job. All the places I applied for turned me down, so I thought 'I'll work with dad, knock out a few car jobs and get a healthy amount of money, save it up and I'll have my PS3/Xbox 360 fund.' Dad has me doing freaking petty house chores. I haven't made a single effing cent over here, if anything, I've lost money. Thats not the half of it tho. Then he has the effing balls to tell me that 'Oh, I woulda given you work, but you were supposed to take the initiative. Bosses don't tell their workers what to do, the workers ask what to do.' BULL-EFFIN-S***. Last time I checked, bosses assigned their workers what to do, then the workers did it, then waited for their next job. So now its MY fault that he didn't give me work. THEN HE EFFING YELLS AT ME FOR LAYING AROUND ALL DAY. What am I supposed to do? Write the next american great novel?
I'm sick of being here, I want to go back home and get back to school. At least there I had my friends and no annoying parents or paranoid girlfriend. I've held my emotions in too long. I'm sick of this. When I hold my tounge, I sit through 3 hours of lecturing (NOT exaggerating, I've timed them). When I fight back, dad doesn't let me forget about what I said and uses it against me.
It doesn't help that I'm finally a senior. So close to finally being out on my own, yet I still have to answer to them.
Not only that, but I still have to live with my parents' (born) lies about the divorce. "It isn't your fault Ajay, its a disagreement between [insert arrangement of 'mommy'/'daddy' and 'I']" Dad finally told me why he left Mom. He left because she wanted to have a relaxing life, and he wanted to take his kids out and have a good old time, while she wanted to just rent movies and listen to her radio. Sounds like they left due to a disagreement on how to raise me, eh?
I'm done, I'm gunna go design a house, I have to keep busy X_X
sweatdrop I feel better now ^v^;

Watashi, you Mom, Dad, and your Stepmom are trying to make things as nice as possible between everyone, but that's not possible. A son or daughter should never blame himself or herself for a divorce. It's not your fault that your parents couldn't work things out and come to a mutual agreement. What the split in ideas was about doesn't matter. You don't spend a lot of time with your Stepmom so she obviously doesn't know you that well, and sees only a few things in your life(like whenever something breaks). Your Dad must be trying not to spoil you/spend too much attention on you in an effort to try to spend more time with Emily, Nick, and your Stepmom. He's over compensating by spending more time and money on them in an effort to not make them feel like they're being left out. He also might be trying to teach you independence and responsibility or whatever your father thinks you need more of. Just try not to let them bother you too much and try to do what they ask (i.e. ask what he wants you to do).

I have a rant... Sort of...
I hate driving around Big rigs. >< They are some of the worste drivers on the freeways/highways. It always makes me nervouse driving around them. Most of the time they don't pay attention to other drivers, are rude and inconsiderate when driving, driver much faster than driving conditons permit, and cause or are part of a majority of the accidents in the area. Over the weekend there were to major fatality accident involving big rigs, one only about 10 minutes from where I live on a stretch of freeway we frequently travel, the other was on the same freeway near Berkely.
The first was the fault of the truck driver. He was driving way to fast and hit 7 cars. One driver pulled over seeing that the guy was driving poorly, he cliped his car, then proceeded to hit six other cars, killing 3 people in the first car he hit, and injuring 11 other people. o.o; Right near the exit I take when I go back to Napa. xp I saw an article in the paper, it was a huge mess.
The other one was a truck that was clipped by another car, the truck driver lost control of his vehicle and slammed through the center divider where his truck burst into flames. o.o; And was hit by a car. Killing all 3 people in the car. It was so bad they coudn't identify the people. xp
xp I hate driving around those trucks, it stinks because there are a ton of them that travel the interstates that I drive.
Anyway... That's my semi rant/complaint/news coverage post.

I can't say that I care much for trucks. @_@ And, I am extremely uncomfortable with driving. The number of times in my life I've ever driven I can count on one hand with fingers to spare.

I have an hour and a half commute to class, part of that requires driving, which is ok. I don't like to drive much, but it's a necessity where I live. My mom usually drives when we go somewhere together, but I drive myself where I need to go.

Yea I hate trucks... and highways... but I don't mind driving too much otherwise. the thrill of getting my license wore of pretty fast, but its still nice to be able to get where i need to go without waiting for someone to give me a ride. It also cuts down on the parentals yelling at me about how sick they are of driving me everywhere, so thats a plus. But I'm severely freaked out if I have to go over 50mph, so me and highways are a bad combination, and trucks I just try to stay way back and away, unless theyre going slow enough I can pass them, because I dont want to die....

Driving can be eery stressful. Sometimes drivers make me really angry when they make lots of stupid mistakes that are dangerous to themselves and others. stare

yea, I hate people who come speeding out of nowhere so you have to slam the breaks, don't stop at stop signs, or don't use their turn signals! I'm like "Okay Mr Shiney Car, if you want to die, go drive into a nice concrete barrier, not me!"

I hate people like that too. They have no respect for others. Also, I hate people who run red lights or turn when they're not suppose to even though the cars that should be going straight are.

I've been told to stamp the return adress on a box of envelopes. I'm less than a quarter of the way through, and my hand hurts like crazy from the back end of the stamp jabbing into my palm...
