Hehe! I was (mostly) joking about the spanish part, but I know how you feel. Kinda... I'm teaching myself japanese now! XD THe grammer there is going to be...

For a while I was interested in the Japanese language, but that moved towards a general cultural fascination. Mostly concerning the Bushi, or main warrior class (the Samurai is the most popular, and honorable, individual in that class).
Did you know that a Samurai was considered worse than worthless if he was dishonored? To them, it was far better to commit
seppuku (rigualistic abdominal slicing, resulting in a VERY painful death) while you had a lot of honor and prestige, than to otherwise live the rest of your life in shame. Doesn't that make sense, though? You would be remembered at your height, your best. Not as "that old man who died dishonored and diseased in his bed".
*sigh* Anyway...
Plus, to learn Japanese is to be able to parlay with the largest growing business tycoon ever. Plus, you can watch all those sweet anime movies in their native tongue!
