"Huh..." Dredd felt like he was somehow responsible for this. Not saying that he cared ,but he was bored and he was atleast indirectly resposible for her lack of interest in the beach. He was a little hungry though, it had been a little while since he had that lunch with the creepy girl and the cat. "Well I'm gonna go get something to eat. I think I saw a place to get Ice-cream around here somewhere." Dredd could use something with sugar in it.

Mizuki tilted her head back, staring upwards with a slightly pouting frown upon her face. Her arms folded across her chest and she just stood there, then suddenly bowed her head and closed her eyes, trying to clear her mind. It was something she'd always had trouble with though. She sighed quietly to herself, then looked up at Dredd when he spoke. She blinked, then smiled uncertainly. "Mind if... I tag along?" Getting ice cream. That'd be something to do that didn't seem dangerous. Unless, of course, you had a fear of brain freezes.

"Nope. More the merrier you know?" Dredd said searching for the vendors. He squinted and gazed about in all directions. "Where the hell are they..." He mumbled, then just like in a cartoon he saw it then slowly passed it up. Then zooming right back to where it was. "Found it, follow me." He said walking off to them, from what he could see there were soda's and snow cones too. This trip to the beach wouldn't be a total waste, now that there was food involved with an overall calming surrounding.

Mizuki grinned but stayed where she was, just shrugging her shoulders when he asked where they were. But she was pretty sure he was talking to himself, so she simply started looking around too. However, her efforts went unneeded, not like a lot of effort was spent in the first place, as he announced he'd found it. "Kay!" she cried as she started after him, staring past and towards the stand. Her eyes skipped along the options, and she suddenly gave a light pout. Great. Ice cream, or snow cone..?

Dredds train of thought was that if he wanted, he could get both since he still had a nice amount cash stashed in various places of his room 'If we have maids then I apologise in advance for the hell I'm going to put them through' he thought in jest. He decided on ice cream though, the flavor of the sno-cone always sunk to the bottom leaving him with just ice. He walked straigh up to the Ice cream guy with his money in hand "Vanilla please." he ordered, the vedor taking his money.

Mizuki once again caught a random thought from Dredd, and stared at him curiously. She didn't mean to pry, but it was hard not to when she heard thoughts as clear as regular spoken words. Sometimes she got the two confused and caused problems. But, his lips weren't moving, so she knew it had been mental. She sighed to herself, then headed up to the snow cone stand, reaching into a pocket and withdrawing some money. "Cherry," she requested, and exchanged her money for a paper cone full of ice and flavoring. She smiled took a bite out of it, rather large, but for now was brainfreeze free.
