A lot of times people ask me where things are in the store and they are like standing right in front of it!!
I hate that.
I'm like, "Oh you mean this?" and point right at it.
xp Oh, how I hated that!
"Do you carry such-and-such item here?"
no
"But I bought it a the Dollar Store"
Which one, cause we never carried such-and-such item
"The one in Greenbrier"
Then you should go back there or I can call them to see if they have it
"Why are you going to go get it? I am not going back there. Now, where is such-and-such item?"
Did you try Walmart?
"I am not paying the walmart price! *FYI. walmart is usually cheaper*"
Sorry, we don't carry that item here
"But the one out in Greenbrier does"
*By this time I am usually starting to pull my hair out or slam my head on the counter, depending where I am at.*
Ma'am/sir, different stores will carry different items, some being the same. We do not, never have or ever will carry this item.
"Fine, I'll just go back to greenbrier then"
*That's when I want to kill stupid person.*
"Do you have such and such item?"
No, we are sold out
"When will you get it back?"
Not entirely sure, it was a random item we got. I don't think we will get that item back.
"When does your truck come in?"
Tuesday mornings
"Do you know if that item will be on the truck?"
::Slams head down on cash register::
There is no such thing as a stupid question. Just stupid people asking obvious questions.
