Iari popped her head from between a couple of long leaf like things."Hello, i'm here."She rolled off the plant and sat up, looking at Solio."And you are here too."Iari smiled."Im Iari, who are you?"She tilted her head to the side as she asked.

Solio shied back when Iari's small head popped out from between the leaves.
"Uh... Hi."
She smiled weakly, shuffling her paws in the warm sand.
"Nice to meet you Iari, I'm Solio. My brother, Rackna, is over there."
She motioned over toward Rackna and Taifa. She always seemed to tell people who her brother was, it was as if it were her name, she said it so often.
"So..."
Solio stuttered, trying to make polite conversation.

Iari looked over at the oe Solio was talking about."Ohh?He is?I think I saw him ealier..dun really remember.."She closed one of her eyes in though."Hmm..maybe."Opening it back up she gave a shrug."Oh well..I gots a brother too.."Iari looked around for a moment before spotting the dark cub across the water napping with an older lion."Ahhh, there he is.Hmm, dozypaws over theres my brother Rath."Iari shook her head slightly before lookin back at Solio."So?You ever climbed a tree?"She looked up at the branch she had just fallen of of.

Taifa gave a quiet chuckle as the crimson cub clung to her paw.
"It's ok, little darling. I'm sure my mother is quite alright, wherever she is."
Her voice didn't betray the knot that was closing on her throat. Her mother's death didn't upset her. She couldn't remember her anyhow; but what her death had meant...
She shook her head, as if trying to get loose strands of lavender off her eyes, and concentrated on the tiny frame hanging on to her paw, and she noticed that the female, Solio, had drifted off to somewhere else.
Out of nowhere, she smirked toothily, and pushed Rackna back gently on the soft sand, with the paw he had be clinging onto, then proceeded to tickle him with her muzzle.
"C'mere you furball."

Sebastian walked into a clearing and looked around him. Trying as hard as he could to look bigger than he was. "I hate being a cub..." He grumbled to himself as he hopped up into the low hanging branches of a tree.

Growing restless and bored, Sebastian dropped back down to the ground with all the grace of a newborn cub and promptly landed flat on his face. Shaking himself off angrily he proceeded to explore the area and eventually saw a bright spot of color in the distance. As he approached he saw a full grown female and a young cub like himself playing. He raised an eyebrow and sat down a little ways off to watch their antics.

Ikichi smiles at Kichea, and says: "I'm going hunting now. I trust you'll come with me?"

Rackna giggled and turned his face away.
"Stop! Ha ha! St-"
Bubbly laughter cut him off, and he smiled widely, small ivory teeth poking out. He looked up at her with trusting eyes, then squinted them shut as he laughed.
On the other side of the oasis, Solio was glancing nervously up the tall tree infront of her. She gulped.
"No, I don't think I've ever climbed a tree before..."
She answered uncertianly.

Kichea's eyes glow with happiness. "Really? I can come?" She jumped to her feet and bounded around her mother happily.

Sebastian gave a huge yawn and looked around. He was getting extremely hungry but wasn't sure if he would be able to catch anything yet since he was still so small. He figured he might as well try and set off towards a clearing where he could see a herd of gazelle. Hmmm, maybe he would try and steal some meat from someone. That would be easier and WAY more fun. Deciding that that was the way to go he followed some other lions that looked like they were on the hunt. A mother and daughter it looked like. He felt a slight pang of sadness as he remembered that he had neve known his parents. But shook it out of his head, angry at himself for remembering. He didn't need anybody. Making sure to stay far enough back not to be seen, he followed and waited for them to bring the meat to him. He smirked as he thought about how good that stolen meat would taste.

With a wide smile, and a content purr, she gave him a light nuzzle.
Twitching and ear, that made her golden earrings glint with the glare of the sun, Taifa turned her head a bit sideways, placing her gaze on another little cub.
This one carried very interesting markings that reminded her of another, completely different creature, but she couldn't exactly remember which.
This one looked a lot more serious than Rackna, so she didn't voice anything towards him. The lioness only tilted her head to the side; her face calm and pleasant, but timid.

Waiting for someone to bring down something for him to snatch, he looked around him, feeling that someone was watching him. He spotted the lavendar lioness that he had seen earlier. He stared back at her for a minute and then shrugged. If she came to him then he would deal, if not, then it didn't matter. He turned back to the gazelle and watched them hungrily.

Kichea followed her mother, learning as she went, as it was her first hunt. Sure, she had watched before, but never was she allowed to participate. Her mother always told her she was far to young and too little to even attempt to bring down prey, even with the help of her mother. She crouched low, mimicing Ikichi. Her flecks twitched. Something was staring at her. She turned her head slightly and looked around out of the corners of her eyes. While she was distracted, Ikichi took off at a sprint, ready to bring down a young gazelle. "Oof!" Kichea ignored the feeling, and took off after her mother, trying to get infront of the gazelle and make it turn tward the more expirienced killer. She knew that was her only duty, being so little, she was a diversion. She had watched the other lionesses hunt, and knew her place. The gazelle turned, surprised by the little hunter's sudden appearance, and then it happened. Ikichi took the moment, and the kill. Kichea bounded happily up to her mother, having forgotten about the odd feeling in the excitement of the hunt. ((Sorry Mythee! I wanted to RP, I hope your not mad at me for moving Ikichi without your permission! sweatdrop ))

Sebastian grinned as he saw the lioness bring down a gazelle with the help of her daughter. He stalked closer and was finally close enough to smell the fresh blood. He licked his lips silently and waited for the opportune moment to snatch his meal.

The death cry of some ungulate took her attention from the black and white cub.
Had this female brought down prey on her own?
She was surprised, to say the least, as she stared curiously at the white female, and her young, dark daughter.
