Perhaps it was a little too early to meet with her uncle, Du Vall thought uneasily. He would see how well the first meeting went - then if he felt that it would not be prudent to meet with Dravelta, he could easily say he was tired, or the like. A rather feeble excuse, but better than causing problems for Tahir.
"Shall we visit Harry first then, my lady?" Du Vall said. "It is an unusual name - and I would like to see this half-brother that you speak so highly of."

Tahir: Sure and maybe if were lucky he will be sparreing or practiceing his magic with my half sister Sakura but thats a maybe. He should be in the open meadows lets go see if we can find him what do you say so about it my lord. Im sure you will like harry and he is very nice so I cant wait for you to meet him my lord. Tahir said with a big smile.

Harry...Sakura..., Du Vall silently repeated the names over to make sure he remembered them. Then what she had said hit him - not only were they going to meet two Equus at once - rather more than he had bargained for - but they would be sparring. He couldn't honestly say he was nervous now - an strange, cold energy that only the thought of fighting awoke in him had spring up. "Yes, let's," He said, quickening his pace.

Tahir: Smiled but was worried something was up between Du Vall and his feelings but she shook her head saying shell make sure he was all right later. As she quickened her pace and started calling out Harry oh big brother were are you. She looked out and saw the path to the meadow it was in a different direction then the direction her and Du Val took the other night. She smiled and walked along I am sure well come out to the meadows soon Du Vall you excited to meet Harry and Sakura if there together or just harry if we just find him first.

"Yes," Du Vall found himslf answering, pace quickening and eyes gleaming. He slowed a little then to allow Tahir to get ahead - after all, he did not know what Harry or Sakura looked like. "We are nearly there, are we not?" he added, spotting the same path as Tahir and thinking along similar lines. "The meadows are not far from here."

Tahir: Looked over at her Lords slight nervousness. She walked up to him and smiled saying with a small nuzzle to his mane its all right dont worry harry will love you she said as she walked up come on your right the meadows just ahead and I think I smell Harry just up ahead. Sakura said nickereing Harry I know its you come out. Tahir said turning to Du Vall and saying he has a speacial cloak that lets him turn invisible my lord thats why I tell him to come out he he.
Harry: Turned his ears from the tree he was behind waiting to see if Sakura was going to come for there spar meetings he then took off the cloak and turned himself around from the tree that was to the left of tahir and came out laughing. I can never fool you hun sis. He said giveing her a nuzzle and looking over at the white male who was beside his sister. Tahir who is this guy I dont believe we met sir. My name is Harry Potter but most call me Harry its nice to meet you. Harry said with a giggle and excited voice.

His first impression was one of surprise, then disappointment. This was not a great warrior; he seemed barely a teen! To fight him would be an embarassment...Du Vall's thoughts trailed off as he realised what he was thinking. He was not here to fight, but to socialise.
At once all the awkwardness and uncertainty of first meetings came rushing back to him, causing him to retreat into his aloof, coldly polite nature. He instinctively flinched away from Tahir's nuzzle, feeling both terrified and embarassed. Knowing that it did not show on his face, at least, was a small relief. He was far too well trained for that.
He briefly entertained the thought of stealing the young Equus' 'cloak of invisibility'...but no, that was impolite and cowardly.
"Good day to you," Du Vall said formally, with a slight inclination of his head. "I am Du Vall. I am new to these parts; your sister has been kind enough to - "take me under her wing", I believe the expression is. She has mentioned you a great deal, and I was curious to meet the Equus who means so much to her."
There was nothing offensive in that, surely, DuVall thought, eyeing Harry apprehensively to see how he would react.

Harry: Looked over at his sister then went up gave her a nuzzle and quickly went bounceing around it is very nice to meet you Du Vall. I am sure my sister is speaking nice about me harry grin flashing around. So how long you been here in the meadows of eden we have not met before so I am glad you have someone wonderfull like my sis to help you around since its your first time. Harry said politely and with a happy giggle.
Tahir: Harry dont be too rude sorry my lord I forgot to mention my brother is very hyperative Ill let the two of you meet and Ill rest by this tree okies my lord Tahir said with a smile.

Du Vall sensed Tahir leave to rest by the tree. He moved away, further out into the open, hoping the other Equus would follow him.
"Of course," He said with some surprise, not really understanding the joke. "Why would she speak ill of someone so close to her?"
He moved out a little further, the sun glinting and flashing off his armour. "I have only been here...no more than two weeks," Du Vall changed his mind half-way through the sentence, deciding not to mention how his memories were fuzzy at best, the only clarity the bloodshed and fighter that had happened in past wars. "Indeed, I have been very lucky," He added quietly.
He paused a moment, unsure of how to continue the conversation. He began cautiously, "I hear you are a magic user?"

Harry: Perked up and smiled he then said "Why yes I am a magic user my parents are not of this world but I have friends and also my herd family. Have you ever met anyone except me Du Vall who is a magic wielder." Harry asked still being giggly but settleing in a bit more better as well.

"I have," Du Vall said with certainty, and then frowned, not entirely sure why or how he knew that. As far as he could remember, he hadn't met anyone...had he? He shook his hand a little, trying to clear it. "Not...of this world?" He repeated, intrigued. "How did you get to be here then?"
He shifted a little in the bright light, stretching his wings. The day was a lovely one, the very epitome of spring, but his thoughts were far from the beautiful scenes of the meadows. Not from this world? Someone else...like him?

Harry: Looked happily to Du-Vall and then said "It seems just one day I managed to appear here from my normal life as being a human. I am not entirely sure how it happened but it did and now I just live to the best of how I know to be like." Harry said with a giggled and continued on to say "I am glad if you havent met anyone like me in this world that I am a first and so what would you like to talk or ask me about Lord Du-Vall." Harry said waiting and listening to the elder equus.

"From being a human, you say?" Du Vall asked, ears twitching forward and eyes narrowing. Humans couldn't be trusted. Was this some sort of trap? But on hearing the Equus' next words, he relaxed somewhat. This child was so innocent...it was difficult to conceive him thinking up some sort of trickery. Nevertheless, he stayed on his guard, watching Harry closely. "I would like to ask you..." He trailed off. So many questions - but he didn't know which to ask, or which would give too much away, or which the other would not be able to answer. "Your last world...what was it like?" He settled for a vague question, directed at the other. If their worlds were similar, then he would ask more specific enquiries.

Harry: Looked at Du-Vall then back to the ground smileing and then he opened up his mouth. My last words you mean as a human. I must have said something like this "Where ever I am going I hope new friends are there. Then I can protect them just as well as I protect the people fro,m my world." Harrys said with a smile and waves around began a little dance and smile "Is there anything else my lord you wish to ask me." Harry said while he played around a bit.

Du Vall flicked his ears. Was this foal mocking him, or had he truly misheard? Deciding to give him the benefit of the doubt, he said: "That's...very noble, I am sure, but I was referring to worlds, not words. What was your last world like?"
A little alarmed at the way Harry was dancing around, Du Vall stepped back slightly. "Are you quite well?" He inquired at last, not understanding why the other was fidgeting around so much. Maybe he was bored? It surely could not be the most interesting thing to stand around conversing with an old war-horse like himself.
