Mae sat in the limo and stared out the window, she was still getting used to how kind Kosha was to her compared to her previous master.

Kosha looked over at Mae. She could tell that Mae was fond of her actions. "Her last master must have been cruel" she thought to herself, while looking at her. "Are you okay Mae, something is troubling you?" she asked her, growing worried.

They walked up to the counter. Kosha set the flowers on the counter, ringing the bell. A lady walked up. "Can I help you"she went. Kosha said "Do you know what kind of flower this is?"

The lady looked at the flowers, puzzled. "Hey, I need an ID on these" the lady goes. She stared funny at the flowers, then at Mae. "Leave her alone please." KOsha goes, knowing the lady would make a rude comment.

Mae's ears twitched and she fought to keep them from laying back. She kept her eyes lowered and clasped her hand behind her back.

"Okay." she said The lady came back from the back of the shop. "We are not sure, but they are some type of tropical flower, so keep it in nice shape and it will stay alive in a garden." The lady said. Kosha said, "Thank you" they walked out of the shop. Kosha stopped before they went back to the limo. "Mae, do you want to go to any shop to get anything, as a good job in the garden on the first day?"

Mae shook her head, "I don't need anything." she said honestly, her previous master had provided her with clothing but nothing else so at the moment she was actually better off than she'd ever been.

Mae stared out the window and recognized that they were going to the slave company. Perhaps Kosha was getting another slave, perhaps she wasn't happy with her and was returning her. Either way, she didn't really have a choice so she just stayed quiet, ears twitching every now and then.
