Reselda looked up from the table when Jessy was sent for towels. As Kala seemed to panic she calmly stood and after a very short pause she walked over to where they were, "What is it? Let me see," she softly and more then a bit shyly asked. twisted

Cain's head swam, and he felt faint. What the hell was wrong, first pain, which was new, and the Kala's panic, which he could almost feel, it was too much. When the younger girl approached him shyly and asked quietly to see his wound, he meekly showed it to her. As he did, he flashed bak on the butterfly, when he had smashed it, he remembered a jagged shard of it running up his arm as he gathered the pieces together to reform it, and pain. Unexpected, but he guessed it made sense. One of the few things, it seemed, that could hurt him was his own crystals. The arm was really begin to burn and hurt now, and he couldn't help but gasp out Awww, God that hurts... what the hell?

Kala stared at the girl as she did all that in at first dumb shock, then dawning comprehension, almost dropping her stack of towels before realizing she was still holding them. Oh...! She watched the girl sink to the floor beneath the table, and she walked around in concern and knelt beside her. She could see blood dripping through her fingers, so Kala laid one of the towels on her arm, over her hand. Put some pressure on it... She wasn't sure of the full extent of the girl's power, but she did know it to have been a sacrifice for her to reveal it to people she barely knew.

Reselda flinched a bit before she slowly took the towel and pressed it to the wound with a small nod, "I'm sorry, I'll make sure to replace the towel," she whispered in a slightly strained voice as if she was barely holding on to consciousness. twisted

Kala sat back against the wall, watching Reselda, at a loss of what to do next. Anything I can do? She would of suggested a doctor, but highly doubted the girl would let her take her to one. Healing...I wish I had that ability. Absently, she fingered to the carved totem of a wolf around her neck.

Chris was going to continue walking but noticed a cute little antique shop. Maybe ther was something that could link her family to here. She was still very desperate to find something to help explain it all better. She knew her family were guardians protecting the necklace hidden under her shirt but other than that she knew nothing. There wasn't anytime seeing as she had went to a friends house after her birthday party and came back to find her whole household dead. Mom, Dad, Grandmother. Everyone. So far she saw nothing that looked like any antiques her mom or grandmother kept nor like the emblem on the necklace as she pulled it out to exsamine it for the umpteeth time.

Lady Mirage Kala sat back against the wall, watching Reselda, at a loss of what to do next. Anything I can do? She would of suggested a doctor, but highly doubted the girl would let her take her to one. Healing...I wish I had that ability. Absently, she fingered to the carved totem of a wolf around her neck. Reselda silently shook her head as she continued to apply pressure trying the stop the rapid bleeding. The flow slowed down before finally stopping a couple minutes later. When Reselda was sure it had she slowly rose to her feet, gently folded the towel up before placing it on the table with the only clean part facing down, "I will find a way to replace your towel, I promise." she commented before starting towards the stairs. She only made it a few steps before she had to grab the table to keep from falling again. twisted

Kala, being the closest to Reselda caught her before she could fall to the floor. Going downstairs equals not a good idea at the moment...not sure who's down there for one, and you're too weak. You need to lay down, and we'll fix you up. Cain? Bring me some orange juice will you? She put the girl's arm around her shoulder and started to help her towards the back room.

onyxfire Etain blinked slightly. She knew this girl was hiding something about why she was here but decided to let it go. It really wasn't any of her business anyways, she offered politely, she added offereing a hand. ninja Katrina thought briefly. She turned the book around in her hands instead of accepting Etain's handshake, wondering if her 'curse' worked with physical touch as well as sound. Putting that little matter out of her mind, Katrina smiled as warmly as she could.

Kala gently grabbed hold of her again as she fell. I believe that about as much as I believe frogs fly. Come with me, no arguments, little lady. Kala, who was naturally stubborn to begin with, was acting as if she was Reselda's mother without even realizing it. You need to drink some juice to get your blood sugar back up, and replish what you lost, and I don't think you had much to begin with. You helpd my husband, and now it's our turn to help you.

Reselda once again tried to pull herself free from Kala's grasp before sinking to the floor, "Don't touch me! Please!" she quietly begged as a few tears escaped her eyes though she tried to wipe them away as soon as they fell. twisted

Kala was getting more and more concerned about Reselda's panicking, but let go when she settled safely to the floor, and kneeled down beside her, glad they'd managed to make it as far as the little hallway outside the bedroom. Kala almost reached out to smooth out her hair without thinking about what she was doing, but pulled her hand back again. When she finally spoke, her voice was warm and calm, though concern shown quite clearly on her face. You can't leave, Res, you know you're in no condition to. For one, that arm needs bandaging. If you fight me much more, it's going to break open again. Secondly, you really need to drink some fluids and rest, you lost alot of blood. Thirdly, I think you have a pretty good idea I'm not going to take no for an answer, but I will promise if you lay down in that bed over there, and let me bandage your arm, I won't touch you any more than necessary, okay?
