Name: c/Command Sergeant Major Ferraro, LET III, Grade 11
Unit/Branch: Bulldog Battalion Leadership, 6th Brigade, Army JROTC
Nicknames/Aliases: Sergeant Major Phelps, Sergeant Major Sexy, Nikkers
ASVAB score: Overall - 95
Why I joined: Actually I hated JROTC my freshman year, my counselor stuck me in there and I couldn't get out. I don't even know why I came back for another year, but I'm glad I did. I had this awesome AI who discovered how good I was at PT and transformed me into a PT beast pretty much. I now plan on applying for USMA and a four year Army ROTC scholarship.

Name: SG Travis Kiper
Unit/Branch: Echo Detachment
School: Hillsborough High school, Tampa, Florida
Nicknames: "The Beast" "cadet Legs"

Why I Joined: I grew up around my grandfather, and Air Force mechanic, he went deaf after a jet engine turned on next to him, and my Other grandfather a Navy man. They taught me the only good things in life had to be earned by hard work and the sweat off your own brow, i listened but i didnt take much heed. Until i met a huy named Max Luis the III now my best freind. he was set on joining the Marine Corps as a Scout/Sniper he told me, Travis you got to join man, it teaches you so much more than ust how to kill, they teach you life. well after a while he convinced me to join my schools JROTC although my school is army JROTC i said "well it'll still teach me something" so i joined. Turns out that joining was the best thing i ever have done.

I'm in 9th grade joined the Rifle team and am the second best shot on my team, the only one better than me is our captain a senior 1st LT Miller and since hes a senior he has more practice, but seeing as i just started high school, and am shooting 250's out of 300 (if your on rifle team you know what im talking about) then i will probably be the best shot by next year or so, Our school just recently added an Echo company for which they picked the best of the cadets to be in it. i was honored when they called me to join Echo and all of us in Echo have become an unbreakable force which will tear apart any opposition!!! Go Army huuuuuuuuuuuaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh

Name: Airman Basic Cadet Lora Davis
Unit/Branch: Chandler High School Unit AZ-20021 AFJROTC
Nicknames/Aliases: None that you really need to know besides Cadet Davis or Lora
Age: 15
ASVAB score: N/A
Why I joined: I looked into the AFJROTC last year in Junior High at our class sign ups, I looked at it cause of the way it teaches Leadership Education, Areospace Sceince(something I love), and Physical Training and the way it wavers your P.E. credit. I ended up not signing up for it first semester. While in my Photography class I met two other cadets in the program, Senior Airmen Justin Pratt and 1st Lt James Kenny, as they 1st quarter progressed I talked to them more and more, then 2nd quarter Justin got me to some to the 7th hour Drill Team almost everyday just seeing what its all about, everybody got to know me in the core. And my best friend Airmen Cadet Travis Wood was in the program, he got me more interested. Then I switched my Photography class into ROTC and signed up for the Drill Team, too, when 2nd semester came around. Now amazingly, just to add it on, I'm extremely well known in the core, and I've even recruited someone into the core, along with i'm actually Cadet Justin Pratt's girlfriend now...so ya everyone knows me through him, too. I've even got offered to join Honor Guard next semester by the Colonel and Senior. I'm doing great in the program, and I've only been in it since after this past winter break lol.

Name: Sgt. First Class Kailihiwa
Unit/Branch: Bears Battalion, Army JROTC
School: H.P. Baldwin Highschool; Maui, Hawaii
Age: 15
Nicknames: Kilo, 'Kadet', Tommy, Shorty, S-3
ASVAB Score: N/A
Why I Joined: I wanted to join JROTC because when the recruiters came over my 8th grade year they really got me intrested. I didn't have a clue what I wanted to do for Highschool but now I'm the S-3 and I have 3 more years of fun to look forward too! I think it's a good thing for me since it keeps me active with things like Unarmed. Plus it got me out of P.E.

Name: C/SSgt Hill
Unit: Bravo Flight AFJROTC, Shadow Ridge High School, NV-20061
Nicknames: Just Hill
Age:15
ASVAB:N/A
Why I joined: Originally I was made to join so my zoning variance would be accepted, but after my first year I loved it, and now I even contemplate a position in the United States Air Force. Now as a Y-2, I have joined Drill, (I tried out for Armed, but sadly I found out Tuesday I didn't make it, so I'm in Unarmed), and I am the Flight Sergeant for Bravo. This year is a very big year in ROTC because we now have enough people for a Group. I just hope I don't graduate before I can see Shadow Ridge AFJROTC become a Wing.

Nickname/Aliases: Not even my privelage
Age: 20

Why I joined: Because the Corps knows how to turn you into a leader. It challenges you in ways you can't imagine, and with ROTC on top of it, you really start to understand what it means to lead from the front.

Any questions on learning how to join the best Corps and ROTC in the country, let me know.
