Crow laughed. "I'm not the only well trained spy here Izuma. You deserve some credit to." He indicated Ju as she stepped from the shadows. "Madame Ju here had also produced an outstanding number of theories."

Crow raised an eyebrow. "Personally, I'm all for hush hush, but the people deserve to know this. This is about the unity. And Zulu," He smiled gently. "Falga is nothing to worry about." He tapped the side of his head. "Not when Vaarn is still ruler of...." He looked aroun and cleared his throat. "Nevermindyouheardnothing." He muttered quickly.

Ju watched the conversation in silence, but raised an eyebrow when Crow suddenly cut his sentence short. He obviously served more than one master, she deduced. However she did not say anything that she believed would draw attention to it.

((Bear with me, this is going to be long...))

Vena was traveling by the dark alleyways within the village on her way towards the fortress, where she hoped to gain certain important information for some personal reasons. The recent development of events has left her and her association of thieves tainted with a name that they did not earn...and she did not like that. Even as a thief and rogue, the girl did not like to be blamed for the things she did not do. At least...not until she knows more about it. And with such determined thoughts, she would head towards the fortress.

On her way however, certain sounds of squirmishes sidetracked her. Jumping deeper into the shadows inbetween the shadier parts of town, the girl would suddenly see a shadow flint off in the opposition direction. She did not have enough time to pursue him, but it seemed that the girl's sudden appearance had frightened the other individual, whoever he may be, for he had left behind a shiny object laying upon the ground.

With her curiosity aroused, Vena approached cautiously and looked down to see a single dagger. Picking up this small weapon, she examined it, turning it around in the light. She was surprised at the quality of the dagger, for it matched the quality of her own stealth weapons. She quickly checked the dagger with her own magic for any possible poison or sabotage. Shadows swirled over the dagger before disappearing. The dagger appeared to be safe, and the only thing that was truely unique about it was a small letter "M" inscribed into the hilt. Vena found nothing wrong with it though, so she decided to keep it, for it may come in handy for her later.

Realizing how sidetracked she had become, the girl decided to take a faster mode of transportation. She faded into the shadows of the alleyway to appear to the right of the fortress entrance. Here, she would use an illusion to make herself invisible while scattering her energy into the shadows within the fortress. Thus, she became unable to be seen and unable to be sensed. A thief's got to get around somehow.

She had slipped into the fortress just in time to hear Izuma utter the words "Spies...in the Nations..." and see someone leave the fortress. With eager anticipation, Vena listened intently to the conversation at this entrance. She was not afraid of being noticed, because of the little tricks she had just set in motion. As the conversation continued though, she frowned slightly at the information passed. It merely confirmed the theories that her own thieves had told her, those who had heard scraps of conversations on the streets. Two names she did not know were mentioned. Falga and Vaarn. From what she gathered, Vaarn was a ruler of some land or other...and Falga some powerful enemy on an island in the Water Nation. Were these two people involved with the ball scandal?

Vena was impatient for them to get the information out of the one named Crow. She wanted desperately to know what the above named individuals had to do with the recent events. With that knowledge, she could decide if she wanted to align the thieves behind her with this new movement, if she found them worthy. However, if these individuals were noted for some deed or corruption that went against the rogue's code of honor, she would immediately refute any association between the two groups, openly aligning herself with the nations. Such an action would be interesting indeed...an underground thief association, in an attempt to clear its name, allying itself with the leaders of the nations? An interesting act indeed...and should it happen, it would only show the full gravity of the situation.

Something new in the fortress caused Izuma's neck to tingle with slight anxiety, but he passed it off as nothing - nobody he didn't trust could be in here. However, the feeling rose when Crow cut his sentence short, and he eyes him with curiosity. One part of his mind caught him on his thought of trust a mere moment ago, and said that he couldn't have it with a Water Nation spy. Still, he realized this, and the reational part of his mind argued that every willing hand is needed.

"Zulu," he began, turning his head to face him, "I know the people should learn about this...but I had held a gathering at the nation Square earlier, and calling another one, or posting a notice about this, so soon after the gathering...it would cause suspicion, anxiety, and distrust among the people. And yes, Crow-" he continued, looking back toward the spy, "-it is about the Unity...but a Unity cannot exist if a part of it is crumbling from the inside. I think we should withold this new information for now, and announce it - by notice or by gathering - in a few days, perhaps."

Ana continued to sniff the woman. She had no manners of course. "Smells like sister and Imerius." She gave the woman in innocent look and then turned to Vulcan and Izuma for help.

Vulcan folded his arms in annoyance. He had almost reached his tolerance level for people randomly barging in, and his stone expression showed this. His eyes narrowed in disapproval at the girl's bow. "How do people keep getting in here..." he mummbled.
