" I'm sorry. I normally don't expect vistors. ONly my cousin comes by and he says the same thing you said" Gordon said kicking some stuff aside. When she tripped and landed on him he was going to catch her but she moved back to quickly. When she denied his offer for a drink he sat on the small couch infront of the TV. " Sure. I guess we could watch a movie if you want to" he said getting up and putting a random movie in. It was some action/romance movie. He sat back down and made room for Aya to sit. " Here" he said smiling patting the place he wanted her to sit.

Aya blinked as she wondered who his cousin was, but didn't want to seem too intrested yet so she refrained from asking, she'd probably find out later anyway. She watched him as he moved over to the couch and wondered if he had already grown bored of her or something till he slipped in a movie and motioned for her to sit down as well. She frowned, making a face like she refused to move, though a moment later she sighed and rolled her eyes as she sat down, further away from him though and refusing to scoot closer. She had to admit though that she liked to be in his dorm room and by near him, she didn't care about messyness anyway and was at least able to tell that he was the kind of guy who didn't really keep secrets. She watched the movie, feeling herself start to tense up a bit at some parts as she slipped her feet in to herself and hugged her legs. During one part she had moved closer to him without realzing it and was intranced into the movie anyway. However towards the end of it, she felt herself start to give into her sleepy desires as she soon crashed hard and fell asleep agains him. She cuddled into him as she spread herself out, and slept peacefully on him, the corset top not even runing her good mood of being close to his warmth.

Gordon was already sleepy from his day of training and basically being bored all day. He had also seen this movie like one hundred times so that did not help. But he kept awake for the sake of Aya. He did notice she started out farther away but got closer. By the movies end her head was on his shoulders. And she was cuddling up against him. He gave a small clap and the lights turned off. He was able to mainpulate his blanket use his chaos energy and covered them both. He welcomed her in his arms and held in his arms as he slept.

Aya woke up a bit late in the morning for once, she had a really peaceful and relaxed rest. If she had known the reason in her dreams then of course she would have willed herself to get awake and get the heck out of Gordon's house. So when her eyes came into focus as she felt warmth against her and arms...she glanced down quickly to see him laying there and her eyes widened greatly as she realized she had passed out in his arms. Using her power of super speed she quickly undid herself from his arms, grabbed her shoes and ran out the door before he would be able to be awake fully. Back in her dorm room within a few minute she rested against her bed sleeply recalling the memories of last night, excluding of course Will who took up too much of the time. She realized though that she was late for waking up and quickly ran into the shower and tried to simintiously get dressed, her grandfather would be there any minute to check up on her and yell at her for not being at his office ahead of time. Her grandfather didn't even really work at this school, but he made such regular donations that they gave him an office/room so he could 'take care of his daughter' as he had put it so 'kindly'.

Anna blinked softly as she watched his reactions, to make sure she didn't over-step things. She was often worrying slightly that she had said too much, but as long as someone didn't complete reject her words then she'd continue to just be herself. She beemed when he said that it was okay for her to help...though maybe he hadn't ment she could be his friend? Well there was no point in thinking about that much right now either, so she just gently shook his hand, noticing how breif and professional he said everything. She didn't mind really at all, but she herself could never be that way all the time, she figured everyone was different for a reason though so didn't have plans to change any part of him, or anyone else. " Well come on then, let's try and figure this place out better" she said glancing around as if trying to regonize a building or possiably more likey look for a sign or two. She ended up walking in an almost full-circle, but not wanting to dissapoint Grey, she managed to turn around last minute, hopefully before he realized it, and managed to make her way to the dorms. Well actually she ended up at the male dorms...but it was a step, she was pretty confident that she could find her own way around soon. She turned to him once more and smiled lightly "Well want to eat lunch together or something? I'll buy if you like!" she offered.

Fay had a smoothie straw attatched to her lips and hanging in feebly between her tightly closed mouth as she stared up blankly at the ceiling. She was what she had promised most in life that she wouldn't be, a nuisance to someone she cared about, despite how many times Jarren tried to convince her of it not being like that. It wasn't that she wasn't listening, she heard every word he said, took in every motion or facial expression it had. And while she didn't understand him, no she wouldn't even lie and say that she almost got him; she stored it all in her mind, saving the memories for times when she could accurately try and figure out what he was thinking about. It was a wrong move, and a silly move and a terriable move to go and ask herself to be with him, though she still didn't regret saying her feelings. At the very least she could tell that he didn't hold it against her, and mostly she just had wanted to see what would happen, do something for the sake of feeling a feeling when she wanted to feel it. And of course, though it had been the first time Fay was truely honest with herself and those around her, it had blown up in her face and he had rejected her. There was no animosity and it had been nice to feel that freeing feeling for a moment, she almost wanted to thank him for it. But she stayed relatively quiet on their way back to his dorm from the amusement park, her eyes staring at her shoes as she walked oddly, one step side to side and then off towards another direction as she lightly played with her feet. Fay wasn't exactly happy, though it would be hard for anyone to be happy in sorts of situations that the two were in, she could tell just enough that Jarren's life wasn't pefect either. He had this hesitation look and a destructive look as well, she wanted to ask him, and beg him to tell her everything, after all that was what friends did right? Then again, she hadn't told the whole truth about her life either, leaving out the part that she wasn't entirely sure if her family was still there, and the fact that she didn't have enough courage after so many years of not talking to them to go and find out if they weren't there. So she closed her eyes now, looking away from the ceiling and clearing out her thoughts once more as she turned back to the Jarren in front of her. Such a lovely boy, for her birthday if he was still around she would have to selfishly request a hug. Ah. She just acted like they would still be together after this, she could probably do alright, though it was extremely hard without them being together in a dating sort of way, but not even to be able to see this lovely man? The world was a troublesome place. But it wasn't all bad, she was in fact enjoying the time she was able to spend currently, and it seemed like it was just one-sided with the fun times. After the ride, she had gotten the drink and walked back here, with the addition of help from her lovely guardian angel friend, of course. Suddenly she snapped from her thoughts, a song also starting to run about through her head as she tried to cheer up a bit more, also not wishing to bring down this young man. Standing up a bit carefully she smiled, "I'll go change then." she said as she headed on over towards where the bathroom was, snagging her bag of clothing on the way. She securely locked the door behind her, though she was sure she wouldn't have any issues with Jarren doing something odd, being paranoid was her speciality, still of course, paranoid with the Magic Man or not, locking a door wouldn't keep him out.
Soon she was tugging a golden brown summer dress over her head, her ears flopping slightly uselessly and falling back down while she tugged her hair out of her pigtails and smoothed it out with her fingertips. No matter how much the little bunny groomed herself, she couldn't see where things had ended or began lately and she was aware that she was running on default lately. And also she could tell that while Jarren was lying directly to her, otherwise she'd catch it with her powers, he was keeping his lips shut tight. No one did good when they let their burdens way on their shoulders, because things tended to get worse and the weight would become heavier when it was put off. She tossed her old clothes away in another bag, planning on doing the laundry later and defiently not letting him partake in such a thing, she didn't even let her parents do it since she could do it herself. Shaking herself from her thoughts and pushing open the door as she set her bag down on the ground, her ears drooping lazily and still a bit sulkingly, especially now after being barefoot, and her swelled ankle even more noticable than before without the distractions around them or the pants to cover it up, but she was quite exhausted. She sat down on the edge of a nearby chair, still not feeling comfortable at all in someone else's living space, not a man or woman's and especially not a Jarren's! "It must be nice to be an angel and be flawless, even having beautiful wings like that." she said, not thinking over her words as well as she normally did and honestly just trying to pay him a comliment as she flashed a smile. It hit her though, and she could feel a slight shift of tension in the room, if anything it was on her part for bringing up the subject and then realizing she had made a mistake. Fay bit her lip, ears falling against her head now as she looked down, "Ah, I'm sorry, I didn't mean it like that!" she said quickly as she looked back up at him, apolgetic eyes full of regret for her words as she always with her feelings, straightforwadly written on her face if you could read them correctly. Now she was being even more of a burden, if she didn't stop herself quick enough and fix things then she'd no doubt wind up in one of those really long and terriable downward spirals she had heard so much about. How tragic. "It's just, it's hard to see flaws in you Jarren. Though I believe your human enough to have them as well." she said finally, managing to not trip over her words quite so badly as she spoke softly and stood back up, keeping the weight on her undamaged foot as she fumbled over towards the bed. As promised, and too tired and feeling like the longer she spent around poor Jarren she might drag him down currently, her things were around the bed, and a comforter was on the couch, so she would sleep her for right now. She curled up ontop of the bed, into a semi-circle as she stared blankly in front of her, "Goodnight Jarren." she replied, quietly but brighter and nicer and also sadder if those emotions were all allowed to be stuffed together like that so cauotically. And it also wasn't night time, but it was certaintly nap time, Fay now believed perhaps sleep would calm the unsoothing nerves in her body that made the hair on her fluffy ears stand on end. She suddenly tugged the covers right over her whole body, not letting even her head show and just leaving a small crack open on the side to let in air. While she was okay with falling asleep, there would be no way she'd let someone watch her sleeping face, far too embarrasing. She snuggled a bit more quietly before finally dozing off, keeping her mind closed off and slowly getting relaxed, her bunny ears occosionally twitching as the comforter tickled them. Jarren was far too kind for the flawed female.

Jarren had also walked in silence, though this was normal for him. The dark haired angel had followed along with the little bunny girl, watching over carefully and helping her to walk, making sure there was no way she could trip up and fall, or that if she did, he'd doubtlessly catch her. His expression was blank as usual, not letting on about the millions of thoughts inside his head. He was a little tense, now being back on the job, so to speak, with someone to protect. While hie made him uneasy and put him so much on edge, it also revived a feeling that he couldn't place, but one that he was certain now that he'd missed. He liked this feeling. Too bad he couldn't figure what it was... Well, he supposed all in due time, things would become clear. For now he'd just have to focus on his duty and keep this girl safe. So small... Everytime he looked at her ankle he felt a tug in his chest, but it went disregarded since it was also a feeling he couldn't place. And soon, they'd made it back to his room. He shut the door with a small sigh, locking it securely before he turned to watch her once more. He'd have to set up a barrier against the magic man when he got the chance to. He didn't want her to know when he did, or that he was going to, because she'd already refused him the chance to heal her ankle, something that wouldn't take energy. Upholding a barrier would, so he couldn't risk letting her find out.
He was frowning to himself as he thought about it, but looked up as she excused herself to the bathroom and changed. During the time she was out of his side, he leaned against a wall, crossed his arms over his chest, and simply focused, eyes closed. He wouldn't barge in on her of course, unless he felt something. He'd just stand and pay close attention. If she panicked about something, he'd feel it, or if she lost consciousness, or basically anything negative. He felt something now, actually, but not enough to raise alarm, to he remained at his spot against the wall, eyes opening once more when she emerged in a new outfit. He watched her take a seat, staying where he was, and listened to her words. His eyes widened, for a split second, and he tensed up a little, but tried his best to hide it. How could she even think something like that? That he was perfect? She had seen him that night, at the club, getting... getting drunk. Was she assuming that having wings, being an angel, made him perfect? He stayed silent, letting his mind say all the things he wouldn't let out aloud. He couldn't tell her. He couldn't tell her what had happened, that he'd failed. She might decide not to put her trust in him for protection. Maybe she'd go find someone else to help. But.. would that be better? Would it be smarter and safer for her to turn to someone else instead? They might be able to help her more than he could... But at the same time, he found himself utterly opposed to this suggestion. He would watch over her. He couldn't trust anyone else to do it properly, even though he wasn't even sure of himself. What a strange thought...
Ah... She'd spoken his name again, and broken him from his thoughts. Such an unfamiliar thing, another that he'd missed, along with these feelings he couldn't identify. This girl seemed to bring with her a lot of vaguely familiar unknowns. He nodded shortly in acknowledgement of her words, not really sure what to say, and let his eyes follow her path into bed. "Goodnight... Fay." As odd as hearing his name said was, it was even stranger to state someone else's, and he felt awkward while doing so. He hesitated for a while, watching her lay there and then cover up, and then lingered even still, allowing enough time to pass for her to fully be asleep. Then, he finally lifted the chin he'd let fall to his chest, opened his golden eyes, and walked towards the door of his room. He reached into his jacket and pulled out a scroll, then set his other hand on the door, palm flat against it. He stared at the paper, letting it unroll itself, and read in barely a whisper, making sure not to let her hear him. The door glowed briefly, then faded back to normal. He repeated this process with the windows, and any other possible openings to the room, until he was satisfied and tucked the scroll safely back into an inner pocket of his coat. There, the room was secure. Strong magic was blocking every possible entrance. So he hoped that, at least while inside here, she would be safe.
He breathed out a sigh and went next to the shower, feeling secure enough to leave her for a while. He took one that was slightly longer than usual, just letting his thoughts flow, trying to figure things out. All he really managed was to repeat the thoughts that had been flowing through his mind since he'd met her. He knew it could be better to leave her protection up to someone else, but he refused. He knew she revived old feelings he'd forgotten, and still couldn't identify. He was unsure of his abilities, but determined nonetheless. And there was no way at all that he was perfect. With a small grunt, he pushed himself from the shower wall he'd been leaning against, shut off the water, and stepped out. He quickly towel dried himself, moving the soft fabric gently over his wings as well, and then draped the towel around his neck. He put on a pair of boxers and black pajama pants and finally reentered the room, staring at her to make sure she was still there and fine. Of course, all he could see was the buldge in the sheets, but that indicated her body was there, so he judged her as safe. Then he made his way to the kitchen area, tugging out a bottle of water and drinking from it as he half collapsed in a chair, wings and hair glistening softly from lingering droplets of water. He sat there looking slightly dazed, damp strands hanging in his half closed eyes, bottle on the table with his pale fingers loosely draped around it. And there he sat, in silence, his wings half extended on either side of him, lazy.

Fay wasn't really dreaming, well in reality she was having a nightmare, and even while she dreamed she made sure she kept quiet about it, as if aware of her surrondings even while she was asleep. But the nightmare was expected, especially with how things tended to go in her mind after finding out that someone was after her, much less someone she had trapped inside a little hat for a good period of time. Guilt was there too in her dream, for doing such a thing to a person, even a bad person, she had still done the same thing he had done to her, though she did it because she was scared that he'd get her otherwise. What was done was done at this point though, and after a while she woke up with a start, covers rising and falling messily around her as she glanced around in the dark room, her eyes adjusting as she caught her breath. Sighing slightly as she looked around, a dream was a dream, right? Her whole family had been kidnapped for revenge while she had been waiting to finally be caught and then he had also seperated her from Jarren. Glancing over at him, it was hard to miss him even when it was this dark in the room, hardly even the moon showing any light during this cloudy night. Though he may think, and could be right that angels had this thing where they glowed really eaisly, she probably would think that he was glowing still even without being something of magical desendent. Slowly pulling back the sheets that were too hot for her anyway, and although extremely comforting, they sufficated her a little bit. Jarren killing her with kindness almost, still believing she wasn't anything for anyone to worry about, she didn't deserve his protection or gaze or friendship. She knew for sure that if the Magic Man really wanted to torture her without getting rid of her immdately then he'd probably do something to Jarren. Fay liked him the best, and she had to work harder, promising to herself that she'd never let him see again how she really felt towards him, to keep Jarren protected and drive away anything bad. Fay knew that Jarren was good at protecting her, despite that hesitant look he held in his eyes, still who was there to protect him? Smiling softly as she quietly walked over, numb to the darkness and just heading over to the beautiful angel boy a bit blindly she lightly pulled his hand away from the bottle, doing it softly as she tried to not stir him and placing it comfortably at his side as she looked around and tugged one of her jackets ontop of him. She sat down on the edge of the bed now as she watched him quietly for a minute, not perfect huh? That may be true, no body was perfect, not even an angel, of course perfection and flawless features lied in his body as well. Nothing could honestly distract a female's eyes away from him if they saw him like this, his wings alone the most beautiful thing Fay had the chance of seeing. Her ears drooped slightly, wondering how she could help Jarren better, there was obviously something about himself that was ripping and tearing away at his mind, but she'd have to ask him directly first before being able to find out if he was lying. Remembering his drinking problem, she bit her lip knowing he was trying, and that Jarren was the type that would keep a promise, so if she could ask him about it, then maybe she could eventually drive away all the darkness. But maybe he just wanted to be left alone...? She closed her eyes, softly shaking her aching head as she tried to let all these questions dissapear with her will and laid back against the bed, staring up towards the ceiling. While wanting to repay the male for all his protection and worrying and kindness that intoixcated her soul and mind and left her feeling even guilter than before, in the end she could do very little without his knowledge. Besides worry constantly, but she tried her very best to do the things that were best from him, and promised that she always would look out for him as well even if he couldn't see it. Fay didn't want him to afterall.
So she stared up at the ceiling, trying to think of something soothing and thoughts gently falling back towards Jarren as she tried to go back to sleep, and she had believed that it started to work as well. However, she wasn't sure how long she had been staring up at the ceiling or when it started to shift and change colors, or the fact that she wanted to stay up all night and stare at the colors that must have arised from her mind trying to find light in the dark room. Of course, Fay didn't get that it made very little sence, but by the time she might have been able to get an idea that something was wrong, her eyes were already spun about in a spell, half lidded and empty. Somehow the Magic Man had been able to watch her slightly still, or just knew how to get things done to his will, and had placed a magic spell on Fay, so that he could control the female's body with ease. And he did all of this without even going into the room, which he of course couldn't do because of the spell that Jarren had gotten finished putting on the room, the barrier strong enough to keep a thousand different kinds of magical inhabitants out of there. But as Fay rose up to her feet, her arms looking surprisingly limp at her side and eyes would be the only indication in this dark room that something was off with her. She stepped into the kitchen, without having to fumble around in the dark she let her fingers rest atop a long and large butcher knife. He was toying with her, completely and utterly because while her body was completely quiet and controled by him, her mind was able to work wonderfully and she could see everything around her that was going on. This was extremely unfortnatly as her thoughts were crying out for help, thoughts getting louder and louder as she walked out of the room and into the hallway, Fay trying with every fiber of her being to somehow be able to stop herself and turn around or use any magic she knew of against him or anything. But she couldn't do it at all, and her steps weren't slowed in the slightest as she limply walked with knife still in hand, till she reached the top of the roof rather quickly, the chilly night air freezing herself to to the bone still. Fay could do nothing but watch though as someone messed with her, controlled her will and made her think terriable thoughts soon entering her mind, thoughts that weren't her own, but the Magic Man gave her thoughts of death, sadness and dispair in addition to the physical pain he was about to oppose upon her body. In the end, this made Fay completely useless and able to do anything as she wanted so desperately to clutch her own ears down to her head and block out everything around her as she went through several forms of torture for her orginal sin of trapping someone away as a prisoner. She was paying for it now, after all so maybe it was supposed to happen in the end like this, and this was just how Fay's life ended. At least...she wouldn't be troubling Jarren anymore. Tears still fell from her eyes though it was very little to none, possiably just one that had given her away as it fell down her skin prickling her along the way before she kept on walking to the edge, standing on the ledge. Her body's actions were limp but almost walked and moved like she was dancing, body magically transfixed. Her hand was shaking slightly, or it had been trying to as she tried her hardest to throw the knife off the side or just get it out of reach, but then her hand steadied once more and drew closer to her throat, resting against it now as she could tell he was enjoying himself by taunting her so much, decomposing her nerves with the threat of death. She shut off her mind at the last moment, as well as she could, not wishing to see her own death befall upon her, and remembering how she wished she could see Jarren a little longer and fix all his troubles for him. How Fay wished she could sooth away every care he had before she left, and hoping that if she died then she could become an angel too and then still be able to see him someday and thank him for trying. But was this all too much to ask for, to see Jarren again? Her thoughts cut off as the knife drew slightly into her skin, pressing against it tightly as she was sure it must have already seeped right through her, though it hadn't yet.

Jarren had drifted off, despite how much he'd tried to stay awake. He was tired, as the initial making of the barrier was more difficult than keeping it up, so he required rest to recover from doing so. He didn't make it to the couch, but rather simply passed out at the table, still seated, still holding the bottle. He looked the same, except now his eyes had closed and his chin had sunk down against his chest. His face held a frown, even in his sleep, possibly a sign that his dreams weren't the most pleasant of things either. He tensed when she placed the jacket over him, then relaxed once more, sliding a little in the seat of the chair as his body slumped a bit against the back. He didn't stir again, as he slept there in the awkward position that would most likely be found as uncomfortable to most anyone else. But not to him, it seemed. Not to one who had spent many a night passed out in his chair while in the midst of work. He often wondered if he'd let it happen once too many times, and that was why he was made to come here. But, he supposed there was obviously more to it than that.
Jarren was dreaming as well, which was why he didn't immediately feel that Fay was in danger. He stirred again, face contorting a little in discomfort, maybe even pain. His fingers twitched, expression growing darker and darker, twisting into a scowl, then rage. His wings shifted behind him, moving restlessly. And then, suddenly, they burst out to either side of him and he lurched out of the chair without even thinking. His eyes were narrowed, holding not a hint of sleepiness as he waved his hand at the window. It leapt open upon command and he shot out, then shifted into a sharp right angel, jerking upwards through the air to the ceiling where he felt Fay's presense so strongly. Her darted in front of her and hovered there, taking in the sight instantly. His specialty was able to be done without the use of a spell first, so he waved his hand at her again, and a thick block of ice suddenly encased the blade she had pressed to her neck, and more crept over her skin. This meant the knife was locked against her skin, but it also couldn't push any closer.
Almost before it'd finished freezing, he had soared forward and reached out, taking hold of her hand and jerking it from her neck, wrestling the frozen knife from her grasp as well. He promptly dropped it, knowing for a fact there was no one below for it to land on either. He let it fall to the ground as he moved forward and, floating in the air just before her, he drew Fay tight into his arms, touching her throat and closing his eyes. "Calore, riempire mio impugnamento.*" The ice melted, and a movement of his lips heated his hand, warming her throat quickly before any frosty damage could be done to her skin. Then his warmed hand placed itself on the top of her head, his other still tight around her back to press her against his own body. "Pulire questo ragazza spirito e anima , e lavaggio lontano tutto innaturale punizione lancio a suo.**" He stayed still for a second, letting the words sink in and take effect, before her grasped her shoulders tightly, staring directly into her eyes. "Fay, Fay! Have you been cured? Answer me!"
[*Warmth, fill my grasp. **Cleanse this girl's spirit and soul, and wash away all unnatural inflictions cast upon her.]

Fay couldn't accurately recall what happened next, her thoughts were blurred with the scent of death heavily inflicted upon her skin. An act like that would make most things unclear, and by this point she had tried so hard to shut off her mind that she couldn't focus on the situation, nor did she want to. However, she felt something cold on her skin. No that was actually a bit wrong, it felt so cold and so suddenly that it almost felt like it was inside her body somehow. And then almost as quickly as it had come, it was replaced by such warmth, the heat rushing through her body, her heart that had stopped slowly began to pulse once more, as her heartbeat steaded and her mind adjusted once more. Such warmth, she wanted to let the feeling linger upon her as it melted into her skin though she heard words, and though they had been said, it took time to let her understand what had been said, as if each part was slowly getting into her word by word. Her eyes, though although had been open the entire time, now glanced upwards a bit more, light showing in them once more, the dulled look dissapearing as she looked up at Jarren. She had wondered slightly when he had gotten there, wondering and hoping that she hadn't made a fool of herself by being like that for several minutes with him holding her. Ah...but what a lovely thing to wake up to. "Bishie boy..." she mumbled, still a bit sleepily as a smile traced her once more, faintly as she woke up from the nightmare that was placed upon her mind. How terriably scary it had been, for she had done nothing of any importance to anyone yet in her life. And there were many a things she was avoiding and many a thing she had learn and know for certain. It would be such a waste to let all of that go, and leave everything so unfinished, she surely wouldn't be able to take a world where she didn't get to have a few more minutes of Jarren either. And she knew she was hiding behind her lies, and the things she didn't want to find out, she'd have to find them out now. Like the fact that she didn't want to return home, and no matter how many times she avoided it, she wished to return at least once more. To make the memories stick to her forever, even more than they did now every moment she took another breath of the fresh air around her. So here Fay stood, only able to stand pratically with the help of Jarren who was keeping her propped up, her ankle throbbing lightly from being forced to walk in that half-awake state. However as she looked up into those usually calm eyes that had devored her heart in one setting of first seeing them, she felt stabs of guilt inside her body, sharper than the knife that had just almost cut through her. Jarren who never let an emotion stick to him at all, the very first one that Fay had caused to arise out of him was a frantic and upset one. How terriable was she, the world surely didn't need such a her to be in it if she was going to make someone like Jarren have that expression. She stood up, shakily and with a lot of difficultly, clutching slightly onto his shirt as she made sure to not fall over, trying to move as fast as possiable though her actions still appeared sluggish. Finally able to stand on her own and pushing away the pain of her ankle she reached forward and lightly pressed him against her, one hand half-hugging him while the other went to his head as she ran her fingers lightly through it and patted his head, softly and soothingly. "It's alright, you did so good. You saved me Jarren." she said, her voice as gentle as possiable, and she pet him almost in a way that said 'good boy' to him, over and over as she let him lean against her, even if he'd only do it for a moment. She could tell that something was wrong with him, and nothing good would come out of her strong enough to help him probably longer than a moment, but she tried her best. She wanted Jarren to feel alright, to know that he had done a good job, and to let go of some of the past, though he may never tell her exactly what happened. And so for several moments, she stood there, comforting this full-grown and surely much older angel, as best she could. For if Fay didn't do it, then who else would?
Morning might have come too soon. Fay wasn't entirely sure because she was rather sleepy the whole time anyway, even though she hadn't been fully awake at those moments, she still had that feeling of frightened and scared down to her very bones that no one could ever shake off to eaisly. She had come down with him eventually from the roof and then sat down on the couch, her body shaking and trembling, but at least glad that it was filled with warmth from just the simple touch that he had given her, freeing her for a little while from her nightmare till she had fully woken up and come to know that it was just one part of a nightmare. Too afraid to go to sleep on the bed as if it was the cause of her troubles and would come to life and make her dead as well, she sat upright, slightly leaning against the back of the couch, with Jarren right next to her. Scared to death, she said nothing else for the rest of the night, staring out into the dark room till finally her eyes got heavier and heavier as she seemed to calm down from her death feeling once more, or it at least slipped away for a few moments and she was able to fall asleep once more. So by the end of all thsoe events, she had woken up rather late this morning, it was in fact already three o'clock and she hadn't strayed from her postion hardly at all, however at one point or another she had tugged on Jarren's sleeve as if in her sleep, caticous and making sure that he didn't leave her alone again. How chilidsh. She quickly slipped it off and away from him, hoping he wouldn't have noticed as she scooted away from him gently and rubbed her face and ears that were slightly perked up but mostly drooping as the memories of last night didn't fade away even for a minute upon opening her eyes. She just couldn't seem to get much of a break when it came to how her mind acted towards her, perhaps rebelling in return for being controlled so eaisly the previous night. Fay glanced towards the windows, sunlight pouring in through the cracks in the design of the blinds and as she stared quietly for another minute, she finally moved. Standing up, she just kept her weight on her undamaged foot and walked over towards the bathroom, grabbing her bag once more as she washed up and changed into some clothing. A soft tan shirt with small printed chocolate hearts design all over it that fell over the tops of her fingertips and a dark brown ruffled skirt with white lace at the edge was her outfit, as normal as always and though she would have not minded jeans, she didn't feel like sticking her leg through the slots and having anything look suspicous about it. Hopefully Jarren wouldn't look too much at it, for now she was quickly getting more and more insecure about it, as she looked at it and rubbed it lightly with her finger tips. The swelling had gone down a little...she thought anyway. After brushing out her hair and putting her pigtails back in, she walked quietly over towards the door, not wanting to get up Jarren or anything and kind of wanting to go take a small break and grab an apple without doing something stupid and getting him mad at her, because he must be by now. But as she opened the door, about to step out a certain someone walked right past the hallway, strolling down it casually and glancing at Fay once before keeping on walking. Then he quickly back-tracked his steps and grinned with an incrediously look in his eyes as he looked at her. "Well hello there~" replied the man from the hospital, Jones or something was what Fay had caught from his name, she smiled faintly at him, gently and quietly as if hoping he'd get the clue and keep his voice down in case Jarren was still asleep. "I don't believe we've ever fully introduced ourselfs, I'm Jones, Roger. Since it sounds like either could be my first or last name, you can call me whichever you please! You can tell me your name, or I could try out the rumpelstiltskin act too~" he said grinning a grin as to which Fay smiled lightly at, the smile coming easier this time as she wondered how to reply and finally ended up quickly saying a simple, "Fay." to him after he looked so eagerly uptowards her with his soft green eyes and hair bounced as much this morning as his feet did now while he twirled lightly. "Fay! Such a lovely name, but what do you happen to be doing here? I could have sworn that it was the boy's dorms, but knowing me I could have quite eaisly gotten confused and mistaken it for the girls. What a terriable travesty, though of course it wouldn't be so bad to have you as a room mate." he said grinning at the last bit as Fay's heat rose up and she blinked, about to push him back a little so that Jarren wouldn't have a stranger in his house but her ears flickered as she thought she heard him move slightly. Ah wait! That was right. If he was here then that meant- "So you must be magical too then? How lovely!" he replied, seeming to think the same thing as Fay as his eyes travled to her ears and she thought she saw his hand twitch for a moment before he spoke again. "Oh, your staying with him? Are you two together?" Roger - as that was name Fay had decided on for him - asked inoccently as he peered over her shoulder and looked over at Jarren, grinning as he waved good morning friendly to him. Fay bit her lip, hoping Jarren wouldn't mind company, though she felt aweful for bringing in someone he didn't know, Roger was really nice and certaintly seemed harmless to her. However, after her he had finished his sentence and lightly walked in because Fay had stepped back to look at Jarren, she turned her head as she caught his words and quickly shook her head. "No, it's not like that." she replied hurriedly dissmissing the idea, not wanting Jarren to feel uncomfortable and remember her confession, though that was already crossing through her mind again. "Um...how about I make us all some tea?" she asked softly as she looked between the two males and smiled softly at Jarren, saying good morning to him in her own way before her eyes flickered back to Roger who responded eagerly as always. "Why of course! Anything is everything to me." he replied oddly which got a faintly confused smile from Fay before she wondered off to the kitchen. Roger turned to Jarren and waved, "Afternoon, I hope you don't mind me intruding, I promise I won't overstay my welcome." he said happily and honestly as he streatched lightly and sat down in the closest chair while Fay worked on tea, one thing that she could get right.

Jarren was trembling. He had acted without thinking and now that the danger seemed to have been resolved, his mind was catching up and going over what had happened. She'd been about to kill herself. The barrier hadn't worked. It hadn't blocked out the man's magic. He'd have to upgrade it, to make it better. If he'd been a second later, no, a split second later, just one instant more delayed than he had been... It would've been like last time. It would happen all over again. He wasn't cut out to be a guardian anymore. He'd lost his touch. His senses were dull. She'd gotten all the way to the roof before he'd woken up. He couldn't handle this job. He needed to pass her safety on to someone else. But.. he didn't want to. He wanted to do it. He needed to do it. Was he being selfish? Was his selfishness keep putting her in near death situations? This was his fault. He'd gotten her hurt again, and only just barely stopped her in time. He could almost feel the pain in her ankle, his usually emotionless face contorted with the pain of his thoughts. He couldn't control them. He wanted to heal her. He needed to keep her safe. He needed a drink. A lot of drinks. He needed it to all go away...
Did good...?
His eyes widened, her words cutting through his thoughts, hitting like a bolt of lightning, cutting through his cluttered mind and erasing all other thoughts. He'd done good? He'd saved her? Well.. yeah, but... he should've been able to make sure she wasn't even put in these situations. She should be safe in bed right now, and he should be watching over her. How had he fallen asleep? He'd have to make sure he didn't again. But, he had to strengthen the barrier. He had to keep the man out, keep her safe. No more death. No more... He had done good. She kept saying it, with the addition of her touch on his hair, smoothing it, stroking it, and his eyes sank to a half closed position, his expression no longer torn with dispair and grief. He looked relaxed, calming a little, his trembling ceasing. His head bowed slightly, leaning a little into her hand. Had he experienced such a soothing sensation before? Her words and touched combined... He couldn't remember this happening before. She certainly hadn't done it. He would've remembered. That had happened within his memory's length, unlike his forgotten times of living. He remembered everything concerning her... and he hated it. But now, he had Fay to watch over, and she was.. she was saving him now, from his own thoughts, his poisoned mind... He was slowly realizing that.. he needed her, someone who put up with him, who knew about his drinking and stayed, who would take him out and make him have fun, who would talk to him like this without asking any questions...
What was this feeling...?
They'd gone back inside, and he'd sat beside her on the couch, wishing that she'd stop shaking. He stayed close, almost up against her side, watching from the corner of his eye so he wouldn't make her nervous by staring. He willed her to calm, to sleep, and either it worked, or she just drifted off on her own, because eventually she'd passed out. He'd breathed a small sigh of relief, a soft smile tugging at his lips as he saw her hand close around part of his sleeve. He didn't mind, but simply tilted his body the slightest bit closer to her. He didn't know how it worked, but perhaps she'd feel his warmth and her dreams would stay pleasant. For now... he returned to business, now that she was asleep. He closed his eyes and his lips started moving, voice less than a whisper as he fortified the barrier, making it stronger, to keep magic out now, hopefully magic of all kinds. This magic man would have to be very powerful indeed if he was able to break through it again. However, after that was done, Jarren felt even more tired than before, and it wasn't long that, despite his efforts, he'd fallen asleep slumped gently against the little bunny girl's side. His last thought was, at least he'd be able to feel when she left more easily...
So when she'd gotten up, his eyes had fluttered, his brow had furrowed into a frown, and he'd stolen a peek while she wasn't looking. Into the bathroom? Good. He closed his eyes once more, and sat on the couch still, looking fully like he remained asleep, but was really listening intently to her movements, tracking her pace around the room, until he realized she'd gone to the door. He tensed, hearing it open, and then was about to spring up, when he heard a voice. It was familiar, and it made him frown even before he realized who it was. Then, when he had, his frown shifted to a scowl. That brat from the museum. What a nuesance. Get the hell out of my room... he thought venomously, not entirely sure why the guy pissed him off so much, but he did. He wanted him out. However, it seemed Fay didn't mind his company. He didn't really feel any negative emotions from her. And so, when he was mentioned, Jarren lifted his head and turned towards the pair in his doorway, unable to remove the scowl from his face as the uninvited and unwanted guest barged in and spoke. He wouldn't overstay? It was too late for that, now wasn't it? But Jarren held his tongue, for Fay's sake, and gave the boy a curt nod. "It is not a problem," he lied in his usual, serious tone. Then his arms folded over his chest and he sat a little straighter on the cough, blinking away sleepiness that lingered and regaining his usual poise and calm demeaner. The scowl was fading as well, his expression back to its normal, calm and serious state. He wasn't sure what exactly he should be doing right now, or why that guy got on his nerves so easily. Because he rambled a lot about nothing? Maybe. The angel sighed, realizing then that his wings were not hidden, as he'd thought it would just be himself and Fay. So now, what he was had been revealed to another, and another that he very much disliked. How troublesome.

Fay was dazed, not hearing the whistling of the kettle at first as she stared out in front of her, mind reeling on thoughts all related to the past. From just last night, with the Magic Man and Jarren's worried gaze and being first captured by him. She pulled the kettle off and turned off the burner though her eyes fell over towards the top hat, now feeling a bit useless though she knew she could still use it, she probably wouldn't be able to get the magic man back in there. She lightly reached into it, her finger tapping against the first layer that appeared to be closed, making it a regular top hat till her hands graced past that and she felt something. Blinking, surprised that something that was in there, she quickly pulled it out and sighed faintly, holding a medium-sized plush and sweet looking bunny in her grasp as she had forgotten she put him in there. She smiled faintly at it, as if assuring the bunny it wasn't it's problem that her mind was worried and frantic and she wasn't really feeling alright at all. But she willed herself to be alright. For the sake of Jarren and...Roger, she didn't want to be rude to Jarren when she had already let Roger in without thinking and also didn't want to trouble the two of them with her worries. She had already nabbed Jarren into this terraible state of affairs, she didn't want another victim to be saving her from jumping off roofs or stabing herself. Though she didn't particularly want either of those things to happen to her either at the same time. Ah well. She cleansed her mind as she poured the steaming water into two of Jarren's cups that she found, trying to get the most modest ones and hoping that he wouldn't mind her using his things. It was the first time doing so, since she had come here, so she was faintly nervous about it, but figured at the very least he might like some tea early in the morning. So she added in the packet and then a few drops of honey, faintly sweet in the mixture as she mixed it up and walked out over to them, smiling gently and nervously at Jarren with a soft nod as she handed it to him. Would he hate? Was he more of a coffee guy? Did he like tea even? That was all she could do but think as she set in his hands, her own lightly brushing against his as she blushed and pulled away hurriedly once he had a hold of the cup and she turned back to a seated Roger who was at the table, grinning up to her. She smiled, sighing lightly as she felt relieved to him, it wasn't heart-pulsing normally to be around Roger as much as it was Jarren, so she felt a little at ease. However, she was aware of why this was, but she kept it inside, pushed it away as she knew the feeling was unwelcomed by the one it pertained to. Distracted seemed to be okay for right now, because Roger was talking enough for the two of them anyway. "Oh so nice! Thanks Ms. Fay. I see your hanging out around here then? Oh that's right, how's your ankle? My head's fixed, promise." he said grinning largly as he tapped against it, a sound coming from it that sounded almost like it was hallow. Fay couldn't help but giggle slighty that that as she shook her head, he was sure an odd guy, but he was funny at least. "Ah, no it's fine." she said, smile drooping as she shook her head quickly, subconciously touching it lightly, which made her cringe a little, but she manged to pass it off alright she figured. "Enough about me, what happens to bring you here?" she asked softly, and quickly glancing over at Jarren as she wondered if the tea was alright and tried to read his emotions and see if she should somehow head on out of here with Roger and get out of his way for a few hours. Maybe with Roger around, Jarren wouldn't feel the need to protect her, she didn't fully understand but Jarren was probably a guardian angel. And he had promised that he'd protect her right...but maybe that was just something said, and he didn't want to be bothered with her too much. She turned her attention back to Roger, he had been talking about something and she hadn't heard him, and now she felt guilty, so her ears quickly perked up a little bit in order to make up for it possiably. "And so I-" Roger spoke before blinking, eyes going back up to her ears as he grinned, "Ah that's right, your a bunny girl huh? And Jarren is...an angel, right?" he asked grinning as he looked over at the wings, guessing them anywhere, though Fay's ears lightly twitched curiously wondering how he had guessed that so quickly. And then Roger reached his hands forward, touching her ears and rubbing them slightly as they played with them in a way a child would the plush bunny that Fay had resting on her lap. Her face turned red rather quickly, unable to let words come to her mouth, as she was dumbfounded and frozen, unsure of what to do in this situation. She didn't want to offend him by asking him to stop, and at the same time she didn't mind all that much, but it was just very embarrasing to have someone hold onto her ears like that. Jarren had done it once before when he was at the bar..."So then Jarren must be like that type of guy who protects people right?" Roger asked, drawing Fay out from her thoughts as she glanced over at Jarren, not saying anything at all though it didn't matter too much because not slightly comprehending Roger continued.
"Did you protect important people or any humans we know currently? You must be older than normal age too right? I think angels and stuff age differently, but really it must be hard to always protect people all the-" he started, he did take breaks and didn't talk that much at once, but no one else was saying anything in the room so he always just continued on, he honestly didn't think anything was wrong or that he was doing something bad, or he would have stoped. Not a problem though, Fay had made it clear as she cut him off, her words cutting through the room and space of breathes he took while her arm struck out slightly accidentally, making the cup of tea spill. "Stop it!" she had said suddenly, and quite loudly, she realized her rudness and her eyes widened at her own forward actions as she lowered her head, bunny ears left forgotten as Roger's grasp had dropped as well. A blush was on her cheeks as she had just embarrased herself with ease, not having meant to...but she had probably come off as really weird just then. It was just that Fay was certain that Jarren's past was shakey with things, and she could just sort of feel it when he was feeling something bad. It had nothing to do with magic powers, it was just the silly residing emotions of a girl in love. Useless emotions, but she could feel them. "I-I'm sorry." Fay quickly added as she apologized and a surprised Roger slowly relaxed, realizing he bit off more than he could chew and shook his head. "No it's my fault." he added, a small silence settling into the room before he turned back to her, "Well you are okay right? I don't mind to pry so you don't have to respond to this, but why are you here in the guy's dorms? Though Jareen doesn't seem like the evil type or anything." he said glancing over at him for a minute before turning his attention back to Fay who had wide eyes as she glanced between him and Jarren and then Jarren again. Should she lie? Fay wasn't good at lying, and if she did then she'd feel guilty for the rest of the day, and also...she didn't want to hurt Roger, he was a nice guy it seemed, even if he did tend to be a bit of a...different one. So she finally decided, she'd have to tell him, otherwise she couldn't sleep properly that night and she might end up getting up late and waking up Jarren or something if she tried to get milk. Yes, Fay's thoughts always went towards different scenerios when she was making up her mind about something. So Fay told him a good bit of things, about her old village, and the Magic Man that had trapped her and then coming here and getting that note and then Jarren becoming her bodyguard. She of course left out the part where she had completely embarrased herself and had said she'd fallen for Jarren. The wounds too fresh to tell Roger that even if they were alone. Roger looked upset and frowning. "Well what a jerk! Trying to keep you locked up in a hat like that, honestly what's the world coming to when a bunny girl can't even hop around on her own two paws for a while?" he asked grinning at the last bit causing a faint smile from Fay before he stood up suddenly, surprsing her as she jumped back a little bit. "Well since you've told me about yourself, I'll tell you my secret, I hope you'll accept it and not think I'm a bad guy." he said honestly for once and a little seriously as he looked at her before he turned his back for a moment and after a second or two a pair of black, shiny, and swift-looking demon wings appeared from his back. No further explanation was needed, Roger was a demon. And of course, Fay didn't mind, a person was a person, despite if they wore a demon or angel or human or bunny right? They spoke for a little while longer, before finally it was decided that he had something he absoutely had to show Fay today and she couldn't really say no to this, figuring at the least, it might be a good experience to get out of the house and explore a bit more. Maybe she wouldn't bother Jarren so much either. So while Roger waited outside she grabbed a coat and tugged it around her as it fell down to her knees and hung off her slightly while she strapped up all the buckles and what-not. "It's okay, right Jarren? I didn't mean to drag you along this...not from the start really. I promise after this, I'll make it clear that you don't want to hang around the likes of us all day and you and I will come back home soon." she said smiling softly, gently, and as always around Jarren, with nervous intent along it, though she couldn't help it. Displeasing him was all she seemed to do, and she was now dragging him along with her and Roger to some spot that he might not like at all. She was a nusinace, she was sure to Jarren, hopefully she could find a way to fix that soon. Maybe getting rid of the Magic Man was the fastest way to do so.

Jarren didn't like this guy at all. He'd decided that instantly when they'd met at the carnival, and it'd only gotten worse the more time they spent near each other. His very presense got the angel riled up and ready for a fight, but he forced himself to keep his mouth shut and stay seated. He had moved to a table in the kitchen with them, trying for Fay's part to be sociable. But he'd already told the girl that he hadn't really planned on meeting anyone, other than her he'd been sure to add, so he didn't understand why she'd let this brat into his room. They could've gone off to some tea shop together or something! Ah... nevermind. As soon as that thought had crossed his mind, his anger had flared up even further. He wasn't sure why, so he decided that it was simply because he then wouldn't be able to keep an eye on her, and he certainly hadn't begun to trust this guy that he hated so intensely. Couldn't he shut up for two seconds? But his attention was drawn briefly to Fay as her hand brushed his, and he felt the formings of a heat in his cheeks, but it faded again before any redness showed. A... blush? What was going on? He frowned to himself, absently lifting the tea to his lips as he thought, swallowed, paused for a second in apparent surprise, and then quickly lifted it for a second taste. It was.. quite good. He glanced towards Fay, meeting her eyes in a silent, rather emotionless thanks, and then continued drinking. At least he had something to focus on while the idiot boy babbled. That is, until he made a guess of what he was.
He started, looking suddenly and glaring piercingly at the boy. He'd brought him up in his stupid conversation that he didn't care about and didn't wish to be a part of. He kept silent, though his body gave the faintest jolt when Roger touched Fay's ears. The feeling of rage intensified, and he barely kept himself from just lurching up right then and there and punching the fiend full out in the face. But then he'd continued his rambling about angels, and Jarren ended up sitting uselessly in his chair. Why was he.. jumping to conclusions about guarding people? Not all angels did that. Why was he.. mentioning how hard it was... Did he know? Did he know of his failure? Was he trying to take Fay away from him? Was he deeming Jarren inadequate at his job? He knew that already. He already knew. He'd almost failed last night. He'd come so close to messing up horribly all over again... His head had bowed without his realizing it, his expression of great irritation falling into a sort of subdued one, his hands gripping the tea cup and slightly beginning to tremble again. He wasn't cut out for this. That was why he'd been sent to earth. They didn't want him. He was useless now, completely useless. A guardian who couldn't guard? He was surprised they hadn't sent someone to stop him, or to take over on his behalf. But they hadn't. They didn't care for Fay? They didn't care if he allowed her to be killed because of his inability...?
His head jerked up at Fay's shout, eyes widening in surprise as he stared at her, showing real emotion for the first time since last night. He looked confused, for a moment like he had no idea where he was. Then he blinked and calmed himself, lowering his gaze once more. The subject had changed. The brat hadn't meant anything. He was just rambling, being nosey... And Fay had stopped him while Jarren's mind had spun into thoughts of hopelessness and dispair. He really.. couldn't do anything. He glanced back to Roger after his name came up again, but kept silent and didn't much respond. He focused on drinking his tea slowly as he listened to the two conversing with each other. She was telling him the story of what had happened... So it didn't mean anything? She'd tell it to just anyone? His heart sank a little further as his mood continued falling at a rapid pace, and his head remained bowed so he looked at neither of them, unwilling to watch them getting along. Well, now that the brat knew the whole story, he could guard her himself. She'd probably prefer that anyway. She had probably figured out by now that Jarren was worthless, because of his slowness at getting to her last night... He barely reacted as the brat revealed one of the reasons why Jarren had automatically hated him. The kid was a demon. Great... he was housing a demon. He sighed, but otherwise didn't respond. He was sulking to himself and not paying much attention, but he had paid enough to gather that they were supposedly heading off somewhere. He stared at Fay as she spoke, then stood up, peering down at her as he set the empty cup of tea on the table. "I will not leave you with him unattended," he said firmly. "And it's not the likes of you that I wish to avoid. It's the likes of him." He scowled to himself, then brushed past her and to the door, slipping into his boots as he tugged on his sleeveless coat, shooting Roger another untrusting glare, one that lasted only a split second and would be easy to miss. Then, his wings suddenly vanished, as he cast a spell to hide them from view.

The feeling of flying was terrifying, dangerous and hard to digest. It was also wonderful, exciting and oh so much fun. Though this second half could be a midly biased opinion since she had the privledge to fly with Jarren. There was an easy going feeling with it buried under her fear that he would suddenly forget he was holding her and just drop her. Surely if he did that, she might not have enough strength to raise her voice and would just end up not making a sound minus the thud of her body falling against the ground. At the same time, his words that he said about promising to not drop her, she had instantly believed them. She wondered if he had that effect on everyone around him or if it was just her that was so trusting, spefically with him. When he had picked her up for instance, she had wanted to break free, suddenly starting to believe she might very well have a fear of heights when it came down to things. Her thoughts quieted all the way down though by the time he had jumped into the air, and unlike the other boys she had seen when she could, he didn't touch the ground again. Ah, the feeling that surronded her next was extremely bright, as if covered in light and really living life. Did it feel this way everytime he flew? No wonder he seemed to enjoy it so much, she would have greatly wished to ask him for more flights. But sure at this point that it in turn would probably be her only flight with him, and yet she refused to let that simple fact bring down her enjoyment. She was being held by him...so warmly and securely, and at the start, afraid and determined to not keep her eyes fully closed, she clinged tightly against him, so sure that she wouldn't be able to let go during the whole ride. And then they brushed past a cloud, and what a pleasure that was, her eyes opened widly and she grinned, turning around as she looked at it and reached her hands up in front of her, trying to catch some of it and see if it would work. Of course it didn't exactly work, but it was truely amazing to let those feelings rush through her system, she would have had tried hard to have any unpleasent feelings after that. Was it wrong for her to say that it felt right to be in his arms? She felt free currently, and even if she had been flying with Roger at that point she probably wouldn't have enjoyed it the same. She stored the memory away for later, and sprang about in the sky with him, unable to surpress her grin as she kept on seeing one thing after the other. She did look down though, and true as they said, it was fairly scary to realize that you were so high up that the people down there were so tiny. The world seemed a great deal less threatening from all the way up in the sky, flying by with the birds and clouds and probably could touch stars if she came up here at night. At least, it was nice to think that way, even if it was ridiculous, Fay didn't mind living in a bit of a fantasy sometimes. So she had soon enough asked him to go faster, or fly up higher, or pointed out buildings of Ria down to him, completely entertained and enthralled. The magic Jarren produced was nothing like the magic she had been forced to see all her life. He shone so brightly that she was just a dull little grey blob in comparsion, everything he did or said seemed to have meaning to it, and she would always try her best to understand him the first time he spoke. She was sure though, that he looked nice with a smile or without one, because generally Jarren smiled a lot, he just didn't have to use his mouth. It was in the tone of his voice, or how he walked, or how his eyes looked or where they were looking at. Fay noticed it all. And she knew she had to get things straight and stop focusing on so much, but she couldn't help but stare at the man when she was near him, he was the brighest thing no matter where he went. Fay seemed to wake up from her dream a while later, for she had asked him quietly and carefully, hoping he wouldn't be mad at her, though she wished to fly for a while longer, under the grasp of his arms with his wings high above them through the rushing breeze of the sky. Everything had been so nice. Still dreams had to end, especially to a little bunny girl who was wasting the time of someone so important. But he didn't seem to be frowning so much, so she had felt a bit releived and yet extremely dissapointed and unattatched by the time they had landed. She had undid her light grip on him, and promptly scooted off of him, a blush on her cheeks as she looked up at him. She had been so close to him that whole time and she had been asking for such things! Not only that, but him holding her like that...it was almost like a hug! She blushed a little farther but laughed slightly, hoping she didn't look completely ridiculous. "T-thank...you...it was um...really nice." she managed to say honestly as she looked back up at him, sparing her shoes another glance and then nodded slightly as she rubbed at her shoulder and scooted right back in towards his dorm room. Her back and shoulders felt really warm, the areas where he had held her and where she had clinged lightly to him. Most likely being because no matter how distracted Fay was, her body always reacted to Jarren, his slightest touch would cause race cars to zoom through her blood stream and elevate her blood levels. Really now, it just wasn't fair to have such a wonderous person around and be so afraid...to just touch him.
The next morning was just as good. Or it had started out that way, regardless. Because things had gone so well with Jarren yesturday, she had to wonder though still in the back of her mind who was missing him. Who could have let him go once and now not be distressed that he wasn't with them? He was such a...ah she could go on for hours about this really. But she tried to ease herself out of Jarren mode, because if she got too high-strung with it again she was afraid he might end up being able to feel her feelings with his powers. Either way, she had taken the bed again, despite her pleeding for the couch, this time saying that the cushions were soft on her back and she liked being in a spot where she could curl up properly. It hadn't worked out so well, not even after adding in the part about how couch history has really shown her a thing or two about couches and she wanted to try out a bunch of new ones. Well who would have guessed that plan was flawed? But after waking him and making the bed as she did every day and doing a quick cleaning, though Jarren tended to live a rather sanitary life style. She worked on some breakfast after changing to a simple tan dress and wore an apron over that of course, borrowing one that Jarren seemed to wear. Ah! Her face had turned pink in that relization, but she pressed forward and managed to focus on not burning the biscuts and keeping bacon crispy. Right when she was working on the rice, she heard the door knock lightly and blinked, staring at the door and then towards where Jarren probably was, then back at the door and then the rice. After stiring the rice once more, she wiped off her hands and scurried to the door quickly, her ears flopping lightly behind her as she peered through it slowly, cracking the door open a bit lightly as she glanced through the side, as she had suspected a bit. It was Roger again. She didn't mind him at all actually, she thought he was rather nice for taking out his time to come and see her so much. Though she could tell that Jarren didn't seem oh-so found of him, then again he had told her once before he didn't generally like talking or being around other people too much. Which was why Fay tried to stay out of his way as much as possiable, and keep Roger hidden as well. "Good morning Miss Fay!" he replied cheerily, almost chirrping every morning as usual as he seemed to remind her vaugly of a bird. She smiled softly, "Hello, what brings you here in the morning? Is it something urgent?" she asked, keeping her voice soft, and also about to ask him if he could come back a little later, though wondering if that'd be outrightly too rude. "As a matter of fact I do!" he said as he smiled, grinning and kept his arms crossed, this time waiting for a moment before Fay bit her lip looking behind her slightly before turning back to him and then stepped back as she let him in. She really shouldn't. It wasn't her home, but she couldn't leave him out there, and she couldn't leave the house without Jarren knowing because she had promised to herself she wouldn't make him worry if she could help it. So she was a bit stuck currently. She offered him a biscut as she finished the last bit of the breakfast and set up two plates, thankfully Roger seemed to have eaten before he came over, otherwise Jarren would be very upset about a stranger using his untincils and plates. Fay might be as well...unless they seemed nice about it...though then again Fay thought everyone was nice. Even Mr. Demon over there. "So what is it?" she asked as she set down two loaded plates, though Fay's portion was much, much smaller as she nibbled on some bacon and hesitantly watched the reaction of Jarren to her cooking, hoping she could change and adapt if needed. "It's about the Magic man again." he said suddenly and drew Fay's attention to him, if anyone knew a way to get out of this, then she'd do it immdately. Before she couldn't snap off the last tie she had to Jarren, and before she couldn't cut off the last tie she had to living. For her sin of locking away the Magic Man was a terriable one, she had caused him so much grief. So Fay stared on, not even noticing much as Roger teased her and tried to feed her or play with her fingers. There was a blush, as there always tended to be though. Her heart did beat towards Roger, but it was crashing, booming and thundering when Jarren touched her. Probably because it was forbidden.

Jarren held her tightly against him as they flew, his eyes smiling down at her as he cradled her to his chest. At first he wasn't sure how she felt about this, and he was considering going lower, or even stopping completely and walking again. But then she'd started getting more into it, a grin touching her lips and her arms even unlatching themselves from him. He watched her closely the whole time, maybe not directly, but sometimes from the corner of his eye. Either way, she never left his sight. At the first sign of want, he would let her back down to solid ground again. He had meant what he said though; there was no way that he would let her fall. It would have hurt him to hear such worries on her part. But he didn't. He instead began to hear requests to go higher, or faster, and he complied each time instantly, moving according to he wishes. He didn't mind. He loved flying as well, and he would often be found doing acrebatics for himself, just for the hell of it. Now that he had someone to fly with, it was even more tempting. He allowed himself to do it just once, holding her more tightly as he suddenly swerved straight upwards, then back, doing a loop in the air, and then chuckling into her ear as he finished, giving her a secure squeeze to make sure she knew that he still had her. He would never let her go. Oh... was he allowed to think such things? Once this was over, and he had killed the magic man for her, would she want to leave? The thought saddened him, and so he pushed it away for a later day. They arrived several times faster than they would've on foot, and soon they touched down in front of the dorms, and he let her down as his feet touched the ground, wings fluttering and then folding neatly against his back, discarding a few black feathers in the process. He didn't seem to notice, however, for it didn't harm him in any way. And soon he'd followed her into the room, he had showered, and they'd each fallen asleep. Of course, he'd wished her a good night first.
He awoke the next morning to Fay's urgings to wake. He gave her a sleepy frown and then tried to roll over to sleep again, but just ended up sighing into the pillow as his face mashed into it, hidden. He felt sleepy... probably because of the barrier he was keeping up, enhanced because of the last incident so that it now wouldn't let in anyone without permission, or any magic of any kind either. Or at least, that's how it was supposed to work. He pushed himself up though, sleep lost to him now, and rubbed at his eyes in an effort to wake more clearly. The scent of food was helping a bit. It actually smelled pretty good... Rice for breakfast? Was that what he sensed? He peeked over at the stove, but from the couch, the effort was a little more than he felt like putting in, so he just slumped against the arm rest and covered a small yawn with his hand, eyes blinking. He needed to get a hold of himself. Once he got some food into his system, he'd be good. But then, the brat arrived again. Jarren sensed him before he'd even knocked, and his head jerked up to stare at the door, golden eyes narrowed into a piercing, hateful glare. If he thought about it, his hate was probably too strong to just be against the fact he was a demon. There was something else that infuriated him even more. It took him until breakfast to find it though. For now, he simply glowered, wishing that Fay would just leave him outside, but he had no such luck. The girl let him inside and Jarren grunted quietly and turned away, irritated. Well, at least he was awake. He wanted that damn kid out of his room though, but apparently he was staying for breakfast. Not to eat, of course. Just to be a neusance.
Jarren got up a little reluctantly and headed over to the table, slumping into a seat and picking up a fork as he started to eat. His eyes flicked towards Fay's, meeting them with another one of his hidden smiles, and then returned to the plate as he ate. As long as he avoided looking at the brat, he thought he'd be fine, but then again, it was impossible not to sense him when he was so close. And then, what's more, he was touching all over Fay again! It was only adding to his anger, along with the fact that the annoyance had mentioned the magic man, and then started goofing off. What an idiot. It was more than serious Jarren could stand. So as much as he tried to keep silent and eat, for the sake of Fay who actually seemed to like this kid, he couldn't. Suddenly, his fist slammed against the table, though he at least attempted to hide it as if he were simply setting down his fork. But the eyes that bored into the demon were those of absolute hatred and irritation. "...you said you had news," he said, speaking in a surprisingly calm voice, not a hint of his rage showing through. "Would you care to share it with us so you can leave us in peace? I would imagine that if it were something as urgent as you claim, urgent enough to warrent another visit to my residence unannounced, that you would feel the need to state your news quickly."
