Koichi continued to smile to himself; he was enjoying this. He was enjoying this time. He looked down, still walking, and saw his shoes sinking into the fine sand; he was wearing sandals, so the sand seeped under his feet every now and then. It felt nice and warm against his foot, and the smell of the ocean breeze coming in from the crashing waves smelled quite good. "Don't you love the beach?"

[She did! D: Yuri saved her. And sorry for disappearing. The OOC thread here is pretty active, and my internet also kept blinking off]
Kana sighed quietly, her breath hot against her face and Koichi's chest. She could almost tell they were on sand just by the way he'd begun walking, which to her was a sign she'd been carried for too long. She'd gotten used to the rhythm of his steps! But she didn't pull away. All she did was slowly lift her head, peering up at him again as he spoke. A small hesitation, and her head bobbed up and down. "Yes," she smiled. "I haven't been since the last time we came together." She hadn't had a reason to.

"Since the last time we came? But... that was so long ago!" he said in slight amasment; then agian, he only went twice over the past two summers, so he shouldn't be one to complain. He found a rock, the waves slowly riding up against its base; it was deep in the sand, probably from years of erosion having pushed the sand there to keep it pretty secure. He bent down, placing Kana on it; it was far enough from the water, and besides, the water was just washing up on the shore. Nothing to be scared of.
"Well, we're here," he smiled, looking out at the sea; the smell was amazing, and the view georgous. He had to admit, the beach was a good place to be,and not only that, but he found it better that he was there with Kana.

Kana nodded her head, rubbing the back of it uncertainly. "Y-yeah..." At that time, she'd had someone to go with. Since then, she hadn't. Because of her paranoia about drowning, there was no way she'd head off to the beach alone, even if she didn't plan on swimming. Now it was fine though, because he was here.
She was slightly glad when she was set on the rock instead of in the sand or, even worse, wet sand! She smiled faintly at the thought, and then stared out over the water. It wasn't so bad to look at, actually, just to touch. "Yes, we are!" she said brightly, sitting on the rock with her hands propping her up, and her legs straight out in front of her, following the slope of the rock, but staying out of the water's way.

Koichi just laughed. "You sound rather happy," he pointed out; he thought she wouldn't like the beach all too much, but apparently he was wrong. "Is there something you'd like to share?" he teased; he was thinking maybe she'd gotten over her fear at least a little, but then again he doubted it somehow. This is so relaxing, he thought, running a hand through his black hair, although it fell back into its slight messy state.

[My stomach hurts so bad from the pizza. xD;;]
Kana held up one finger as she turned to face Koichi, as if she were making a point. "That's because," she began with a grin. "I'm not touching the water." She laughed quietly, mostly at herself. As long as the water wasn't hitting her and getting her all salty and sandy, she was perfectly fine with visiting the beach. She turned her head, staring out at the water for a second, and then back up to him again. She scooted herself over and then patted a part of the rock beside her, playfully signaling for him to sit down. Strangely, she also felt guilty that he was standing while she got to sit.

Koichi laughed, hearing her. "Well, now ain't that a good reason?" He said. He tilted his head, though, seeing her patting the rock. AFter a moment or two, he got the idea and just shook his head, grinning to himself; he was fine standing, but why would he pass up the oppertunity to sit next to her? So, he sat down next to her, leaning foward with his elbows resting on his knees. "You know, on a clear night, the beach is the perfect place to be if you need to relax," he stated, looking over at her and smiling.

[I dunno. It starting hurting after I ate, so I'm blaming the pizza.]
Kana waited until he'd seated himself, and then stared out over the water again, tugging her legs to her chest and holding them lightly in place, arms looped around her knees so they were above the injuries. Chin nestled on top of her knees, she stared out over the water, then glanced upwards towards the sky as he mentioned clear nights. "...what time is it?" she asked suddenly. "I bet the stars would be pretty, don't you think?" She turned her head, grinning at him.

ll lol! that happened to me once; felt like i had a charleyhorse or w.e you call them in my stomach. i was like wtf? ll
Koichi shrugged; he had no idea what time it was. [what time of the day is it >>]. He nodded his head, looking over at Kana. "Yeah, their pretty alright," he said softly, smiling as he gazed up at the sky, too. "How about we spend the night out here sometime?" He questioned; it was sure to prove interesting. "I mean, that way we can look at the stars together, without any lights to distract us."

[Mine just hurts. Not sure how to explain... OHCRAP. Forgot to take my medicine. Dx And, uh, it's any time we want it to be. Sunset would be pretty. xDD]
Kana's face immediately lit up at the suggestion and she smiled happily at him, head bobbing up and down again. "Ok!" she cried, tail flicking excitedly behind her at the very thought. She looked around, then pointed to a large rock, definitely out of the water's reach. "We could sleep on that, or something!" she added enthusiastically. "Unless, um, you have a tent or something...?" She blinked again, watching him curiously. She didn't have a tent. If she slept outside, she really did sleep outside, with nothing extra to make things more comfortable or anything.

Koichi shook his head. "No tent, just blankets so we don't get cold," he grinned. He wanted to make another remark, but was scared of being slapped or causing her to become too flustered. He looked out towards the horizon, and smiled; it was just about to be sunset, and he had to admit it looked better here than back in France. Maybe it was just the beach's atmosphere. "Look," he said, nodding towards where he was looking.

Kana listened quietly, then smiled at him. "That's a good idea," she agreed, oblivous to any other thoughts he may be having. A blanket is something she might even have, unlike a tent. It'd probably be old though, stashed away in her closet here. She just shrugged to herself, and stared at the section off the rock between herself and Koichi, but glanced up when he nodded. Her eyes widened slightly as she stared, almost transfixed by the scene before her. "Pre... tty.." she breathed.

Koichi just grinned, reaching out his arm, placing it around her. He pulled her to him, grinning some more. "Yes, it is. And I'm glad you're here with me to watch it," he said softly, looking at the burning sun, which cast hazed pinks and oranges across the sky, in which a deep blue followed at the colors' trails; it'd be a small while before those settled through the sky they looked at, but still. It was nice either way. "See, the beach is a nice place to be at, even if you dont' like the water," he pointed out, chuckling to himself softly.

[It's ok. xD The only reason I'm still here is to make my first post in a different role play. >.>;;]
Kana froze, tensing under hist touch like usual, and taking a second or two to relax herself again. Finally, she allowed herself to lean lightly against him, very lightly, and made a point not to look at him. Her face was gradually turning red again as she kept her eyes locked on the sky. "Y-yeah," she stammered, swallowed, and tried again to speak normally. "It is really nice here!" She smiled, glancing at him out of the corner of her eye. She was glad he was here with her too, even if she was kind of bad at showing it.

[Hey~ Who's she? =o -points rudely- xDD Nice to meet you Wings! D=]
"Well...I haven't actually made my dorm room yet to be honest" he said giving off a nervous laugh. He really should have done that before, he kind of just wanted to take a shower and then crash or something. He pondered the thought for another moment before shrugging it off and standing up, brushing himself off the rest of the way. The sand got everywhere, but he didn't really mind at all, he shook some of it out of his hair and then dosed the fire with it to put it out. He shoved away his hands as he slinked away from the beach with her. She wasn't actually all that bad for another girl...but no, he didn't get attatched, he wouldn't do that now.
"I kinda am" Mel said softly as she stiffled another yawn and closed her eyes as she laid on his chest, lightly pressing her body against his for a moment. "You still feel warm..." she mumbled sleepily as she broke away from her grasp and rubbed her eyes the way a little kid would. She then led him by the hand against the wall that she was at before, and tugged him down with her. She with her head in his lap as she snuggled into him happily "...mh" was all she got out before getting into a deep and warm sleep.
Mel was woken up much too soon by the feeling of someone poking her with something ice cold down her back. She opened one of her eyes giving a sleepy "Wha?" and saw a docter examining her; they were both still at the same place as before, but now a group of people were around her and Sei.
