"It feels like I've been run over by a truck." she said jokingly but still painfully. She held her shoulder even though her whole body ached. It must have been the after effects of Damien beating Maia up.

Audrey shook her head, stifling a little painful whimper. "No..." she mumbled, looking up at him through squinted eyes. "You did what you had to do and that's all I can ask for." She smiled, raising a hand to touch his cheek lovingly. "Okay...love?"

Audrey gulped hard, sinking slightly. "Oh my..." she said airily, deeply troubled that her body was in jail. She probably knew what she did but didn't want to entertain the notion much. "For how...when did..." her eyelids flitted and she fainted.
