Ontaros's gray eyes fall upon the newcomer and an eyebrow raises slowly. A moment passes before he speaks. "You've just come from town and you seek respite here, in the woods as opposed to in the city?" looking over Raidyn curiously he shrugs it off and gestures towards the fire. "None the less, I'm not one to turn people away. Sit"

Raidyn sits down next to the fire next to the strange man opposite the ranger woman. Actually we are traveling from the city and the best way to where we are going is thru this forest. Raidyn gestures to his friends Jurido and Reina to sit down. Thank you for letting us rest a while, I am sorry if I am being rude but who are you? Raidyn glances at the woman sitting next to the strange man. You don't see many people here in this forest.

Uh...uh...alright... >>Reina murmered, looking at the sword and wondering what made it glow. And if it would make a good night light. Then she waited until guestured forwards, meekly sitting down with her bundle and large hammer<< Th-Thank you >>The girl breifly glanced up at ontaros, blushing lightly at Raidens forwardness<<

Kalm fought down panic. Three new faces suddenly surrounded their little fire. They seemed nice enough... but so did most people when you first met them. She remained silent and willed herself to look insignificant to them, hoping they would simply address Master Ontaros and forget she was there.

Jurido swung his sword around and slid it into its sheath. He then sat down at the fire with a big smile. Hey there. Thanks for letting us sit down. How's it going?

Ontaros nods his head to one side a moment and replies "For as far into the day as we are it's been well enough. What about for you travelers? Where has your journey lead?" His head is cocked to one side in curiosity.

Well, actually, we are on our way to a village, in hopes of saving it from a terrible fate. We are actually part of another group. They are heading along a different path. He stretched and let out a yawn. I really am starting to regret not sleeping last night....

Ontaros's brow arches at both what the dark haired man had to say but also the young ladies reaction to what had been said. "A terrible fate? What, if I may ask, is to become of this village?" As Ontaros continues the conversation the words of the old prophet ring in his ear. This must be it...

Jurido looked over at Reina. What? It's not like its a secret or anything. He returned his gaze to the stranger I'm not fully sure what is supposed to happen. But I garrentee you, I wont let it come true. I'm going to destroy who ever it is, trying to interupt their way of life. He paused for a moment and let out a sign. Now I'm starting to sound like Zejx....

whee >>she wiggled a bit while sitting<< You still shouldn't tell a couplete stranger. >>The female lightly chastened under her breath, appaled enough to give her the extra boost of confidence to do so. Her crimson eyes flickered breifly to the man<< N-Not that...you're like...not trustworthy or anything....I mean I'm sure that you're a good man and all and what we're doing isn't exactly bad in fact I would catagorize it as good its just not the thing to do and I'm rambling again aren't I........

Wow, she's more nervous than I am... Kalm thought to herself. She began examining the people out of the corners of her eyes. Master Ontaros was obviously taking an interest in what the man had to say, beyond mere pleasantries. Besides, she liked watching people... as long as she didn't have to talk to them.
From his dress and the way he carried himself, the man doing most of the talking, the one the girl had called Jurido, was obviously a trained fighter of some sort. He seemed to be the leader, despite the fact that the quieter man was actually guiding them. He carried himself with a confidence and ease.
Given the ease with which the girl, whose name she hadn't yet heard, handled the large hammer she carried, she obviously had some sort of training as well, although she had never seen anyone use a weapon quite like that, except for maybe the village blacksmith, but even his hammers weren't quite THAT big, and he was much more muscular than she. Kalm noted that she was quite well-dressed and took good care of her appearance, though she doubted it was actually to the point of vanity.
The polite man who introduced himself as Raidyn seemed to be a more scholarly type. He was obviously the one that knew where they were going. If the other two knew the way as well, she doubted it would have been this man taking lead. He might know how to fight, she saw no indication there either way, but from the softness of his hands and his own bearing, she doubted it was something he relished very much. Plus his robes were more those that a priest or scholar would wear.
She wondered idly who this Zejx that the man called Jurido mentioned was. Perhaps someone in the other group of travellers. Maybe he was someone altogether separate from this journey. But why, she wondered, were there two groups if they were headed to the same place?
She had never heard of people traveling through these woods that would have wished to divide their numbers. Most people were afraid of the stories of the spirits in these woods and traveled with as many other people as possible. Safety in numbers and everything... This was one reason she had been so drawn to Master Ontaros. He traveled the woods alone as comfortably as she herself had. And since he obviously wasn't from around here, she doubted he had developed quite the relationship with the forest spirits that she had.

Ontaros looks considerately to Jurido before smiling to the young lady of the group. "Please, don't be upset." drawing a slow breath "Jurido's intentions are of the best. It sounds to me as though he has utmost confidence in the success of this mission." Looking to Jurido now his face is sincere now. "But if I may ask, would you three mind terribly if my apprentice and myself joined you in this endevor? I'm not sure what exactly it is, but something pulls me to the three of you. Like fate crossed our paths, not by chance, but by destiny."

Raidyn watches as Jurdio explains then his eyes turn to the mysterious lady, she had a bow with her so he assumed she lived in the forest or nearby. Raidyn then hears Reina protest about her brother and then hearing the strange man's words he turns to him. Raidyn's pupils vanish only for a second as he gazes at the strange man and the woman. Well, if destiny itself has indeed brought you and us together then we cannot stop you from joining, in fact I would like it if both of you came along. Raidyn smiles gently and turns to his comrades. Besides I think that Ontaros and his friend Kalm are worthy of our trust. Givin I could be wrong and they might just be biding their time. Raidyn glances at Kalm and Ontaros only for a second. Still like the old saying goes, Keep your friends close but your enemies even closer. Raidyn then gives a little shrug. So it would probably be best if they came with us if only to keep a watchful eye upon them.
(I'm sorry if my posts seem weird but im still learning some about RPing correctly)

When Raidyn said her name her heart jumped in her throat. No one told them... how could he....?! She felt invaded. She raised her eyes from the fire to deliberately stare at the man, measuring him very distrustfully.
He has magic, that much is obvious. Still... my given name is a relatively harmless thing to divine but... what else might he not be saying? He's not a threat, not yet. But then again they were traveling toward the heart of the forest, not away from it. If we do go with them and he becomes a threat, there's always them....
