Eliza looked at Al as she bumped into his shoulder, her eyes slightly filled with anger. "Oh...I'm a bit tired...I just wanted to go home and rest a bit," she lied, rubbing her blonde head and smiling weakly. "Too much to drink I guess!" She then realized this: all of Al's family, as in Damian and Karen, were all beautiful people. They each had impecable looks and it made a her a bit skittish just talking to anyone of them.

Al smiled at Eliza. "Well, if you would like, I can walk you home. Since, you had a little to much to drink, it might not be safe to walk home alone." Al offered to Eliza kindly.

Karen smiled sweetly at Damien. "It's oh so kind of ya to do this." She said as she now directed her attention to Audrey's question. She heard it, considered it, than was about to answer it. Felix walked up and she heard what he had said about the situation. Karen nodded at what Felix had said, "Yeah, I think that's how it goes. Also, we won't be so dusty. I think we are upgrading to stone walkways and stuff like that. We are also getting a wall around the city. It will take ages to build. Or in my opinion it will." Karen smirked as she noticed Eliza leaving. She didn't get to get a word out before the door even shut. "Well, alright. I suppose I will see her around. Thanks for the wine too." She laughed slightly because Eliza was no longer in the room to hear these things. She then turned back to the group and resumed chatting about things.

"A...wall?" She saw Eliza leave and Maia inside of her smiled. "Speaking of jobs...I think I might resign as the pastor. I'm not fit for the job...and I have no congregation. Besides...with these two on the way, I think I'd want to stay home."

She glanced at her car and then forced a convincing smile. "Oh. Thanks but no...you should get to your sister's party, don't let me stop you." The blonde took a few more backwards steps towards the driver's side, managing a drunken walk even though her eyes didn't have that drunken glimmer.

Karen nodded slightly. "Yeah, a wall. Just like in the past, a wall circled the city. It protected the citizens from bandit attacks and many other things." Karen sipped her wine again slowly and looked out the kitchen window. She smiled as she watched a few birds fly by. She then looked back at Audrey. "Does the wall not sound like a good idea? If not, we could probably talk Al into not building it." She smiled reassuringly at Audrey.

"It just seems like...we'd be caged." She took another long sip of her glass, a small gully of liquid puddling on the bottom. She licked her lips before she spoke. "I don't know. It might be protective and all...but just a bit uncomforatble too."

Karen looked at Audrey still. "I agree. I like feeling the air around me. I wouldn't like staring at a ton of bricks standing in my way. It just wouldn't be as free as it once was. I'm sure I can convince him not to build that wall." Karen sipped her wine again, finally finishing her second glass. She got up out of her chair and took the glass to the sink. Placing it into the sink, Karen returned to her chair and reseated herself.

Audrey seemed a bit unnerved, tracing the finger aroung the top of the glass and finishing off her drink hungrily. "It almost seems like we would be caged like animals...it's just a bit...strange." She looked at Karen curiously. "You act as if the attack is going to happen instead of 'what if'." Audrey shrugged looking the other way. "I don't know...it just seems unnecessary if it's just a what if."

"that is true but it could help prevent these attacks from happening and I'll be sure to help build it since I've been working with rocks and a lot of other solid material for awhile now" Felix said then took another sip of his glass and put it in the sink.

Audrey looked at him incredulously, not understanding. "You approve of this wall? You approve of trapping us all like prisoners in our own city? Nothing was meant to stay inside forever and nothing was meant to keep outside. The wall would do nothing but waste precious time and money." She looked at Karen. "If these so called bandits and demons were going to be attacking, you think that walls could stop them?" Audrey realized that her conversational tone started to become a bit hostile and she quieted. "Sorry...I've said too much." She finished her last thought by turning to Felix. "It could prevent these 'attacks'...but that doesn't mean it will."

Karen smiled a little at Audrey. She finally did understand Audrey's feelings on the stance. "You're right. Demons can easily just get over the wall. Bandits could too. Like I said, I can just tell him to leave it be. I would feel trapped and to prehistoric for my time. I mean my parents did have a wall for the city, but..." She trailed off a little. Her thought began to get a little ill on her parents wishes. "But, what if that is why the city was destroyed? All the citizens were trapped behind closed gates and couldn't even flee. The fire wouldn't spread and be contained. It was a foolish idea..." Karen grew quieter because she was now bashing on her parents great idea of a city.

Al watched as Eliza stumbled off to her car. "Alright, whatever you say." Al said as he placed a hand on the front door. He hoped Eliza would be safe before he turned the knob. He opened the door slowly and advanced his way into the house. He could hear Audrey, Karen, and Felix discussing something that sounded a little intense. He slowly made his way into the kitchen and looked out the window for a moment. He reached into the cabinet and grabbed himself a glass. Looking in the fridge, he saw a pitcher of some tea. He grabbed the pitcher and brought it out. He filled his cup up, replacing the pitcher back into the fridge. He took a drink from his tea and placed it onto the table.

Audrey opened her mouth to say something else when Al walked in and she didn't speak at all. She smiled invitingly, changing the subject now that he had joined the party. "It's about time you showed up!" she said, not moving from her chair. She would've greeted her brother-in-law properly but she just wanted to make sure that her dizziness was completely gone before moving.

Felix made a small sigh. "Audrey I've been to much larger city where its divided by long thick walls that are wide enough for 8 stage coaches to to be on cross the entire width of the wall and there are at least 4 walls that are like that throughout the city" he said looking at her then thought of that place.
