I survey the mountain ridge and notice it just out at the top and towers over the deck a little. "Hmm... Ive got an idea." Walking over to the ridge I place my back agianst the cliff side. I was capable of fitting below the ridge and only possible way a person could see me if they were on the deck.
"Good this should give me an advantage. I can pull a round off from my shotgun into their back once they jump down." I quickly pull the shotgun from its rack and check the ammo.

I kept my eye on the ridge waiting for any movement. Suddenly my zaku is shaken and knocked off balance before I catch it. Guntaks had bagn to bombard the area with shells. Sand and shrapenal was being kicked up around the base as the explosions grew closer and closer.
"Looks like their getting closer.... Be ready for anything, the radars are useless now because of to many minvosky particles. Dont rely on them at all, only gut feeling and skill."
"Sir the Flight type is nearly operational." A mechaniic radioed through.
"Good, you heard him Majik. If your lucky you can make it up here before the fighting starts." I grip the controls trying to keep aiming as steady as possible and watching the rear cam as the explosions grow closer.
"They have to have something coordinating the fire of the Guntanks. There has to be a Hover Truck close by if anything, if one of you can find it and destroy it the Guntanks may stop their bombardment and actually come in for closer range."

"Hm... Ill take the job, judgeing from the looks if they would station theirselfs anywhere it would be further up north along the ridge. Going south wouldnt give a good view on anything considering the ridge only lowers." I cut the thrusters on and dash to the edge of the deck. Quickly reangling the thrusters I boost to the top of the cliff and start my decent north after scanning the area making sure nothing was in visibility range.
"I cant see any MSs but it doesnt mean their not coming." I move on up the ridge watching for any sign of a Hover Truck.

A beam was seen cutting through the mountain top ridge and cutting the machine gun to my left into two.
"What the hell?! They're here!"
Six tanks line across the ridge and two GMs stand behind them, they take aim. You can tell they were damaged by the attack, they were dented and missing plates of armor. Oddly they didnt fire though.
An offcier came over the com channel "Sir, communication from the enemy, we're transfering his com to you.... Now."
"This is Captain of the Wolfsworn platoon. I'm only asking this once, throw down your weapons and we'll let the conseqeunces be easy." He says as I lower my weapon.
A dead silence fell as I looked around to everyone and back to the ridge. I lower my head and shadows grow over my eyes. Something urges through my body. "I'll die before I ever surrender to you!" I say at a low voice but still yet capable of being heard as the Newtype powers take over my body, I aim for three tanks and a GM standing behind them. Fireing a round into the left tank it destroys it, I fire agian taking the right tank out. I fire once more right below the middle tank knocking it into the air as its flies up infront of the GM I fire agian. The round shreds through the tank and collides into the GM denting the chest piece. The tank is knocked back into the GM and causes it to grow unbalanced after taking a shot and a smash to the chest, falling over.
Astonished to what just happened in less than a few second they hesitate and fire. A volley of shells from tha tanks land all around me and shrapnel cuts into the armor. I release the sniper rifle and reach for the machine gun.
The Gouf Custom pilot reacts and runs infront of me to shield the next volley and GM fire. He quickly fires his 75mm machine gun, it makes a line of bullet holes and kicks the dirt up in front of the enemy. Three loud cracks are heard and the Gouf was hit by the volley of tanks. One round completely destroys its left pauldron armor another dents deep into the chest armor. The last round landed upon the deck and threw shrapnel into its legs.

Hearing the explosions from behind as combat had engulfed the Cruiser I dash along the ridge looking for the Hover Truck. I see a small glint of metal from the sun.
"Is that it." I stop in my tracks to look.
They already caught onto me and just as I stopped they took off leaving their location.
"I dont think so.." Gripping the bazooka I cut thrusters back on and take chase.
"Come on...." I watch the retinals come in closer as it tries locking on. "Just a little more.... Bingo!" I click the fire button and the rocket flies from the bazooka. An explosion and the Hover truck is tossed into the air, landing on its top. Reaching back with my left hand and releasing the machine gun from its rack I take aim. I lay rounds into the Hover Truck as its explodes engulfed in flames.
"This is Dargoth. Recon truck is destroyed Im returning now." I turn and make my way back to the Cruiser.

Pushing the Gouf aside a little I lay rounds into the ridge and take the tank out with a sound explosion and a ball fire coming up.
"Hm, the attack didnt take out as many as I hoped.... Majik, careful. If they have beam weaponry the Gundams must have survived. Guntank fire is lower than expected and the recon truck is down, so that should die down shortly. There are four GMs spotted so far so it at least took one GM out. Judgeing by tanks it wiped their numbers in half. They would have sent them all up if they had them." I say trying to reload a magazine into the machine gun.
The enemy had pulled back but only for a moment as the GMs lined up with a Gundam following behind and the Ez-8 as well.
"Demen, keep a low profile. Attack when their concentrating on us. Hopefully you can take a few out with a surprise attack."

((Yeah it shouldnt take much time at all. Oh dont worry about not posting, we all have lifes lol.))
"Roger, get a move on." I make a motion for the Gouf to shield Yu Li as he makes his way to the lift to go below.
"The enemy is regrouping for a second so take this time to your advantage. Theres no telling when their coming back over the ridge." I say slowly moving over to my sniper rifle. I pick it up and quickly reload it and placing it back to its rack. I keep my machine gun poised and ready to fire upon the ridge if any sign of movement.
