The man slowley began to get up and regain his strength. Standing on his feet he said gratefuly looking over his form " Thank you Hadrien... this is .. alot better than I gave credit for. Did you mean what you said about helping my family as well? or was that just to gain my allegance?" Hadrien chuckled and said " I would rather help al lthose Im fighting against rather than defeat them. But sadly Propheans dominance and fear has inspired many to join him in death and I must give them that..." He looked to Kyra and held and arm on her shoulder saying " Thank you for that Kyra, now that we have a new ally and freind, I believ you have an army to give a victory speech to" he steered them both to the rest of there forces and away from the ruined fortress, turning into a bat and landing on her shoulder again as he went.


Damascos went out into the kitchen and began feeding on his meat. Small shadows whisked over him as he went and formed a robe for him until he got some cloths on again. The fireplace lit by itself and a dmeonic face pulled up, wreathed in flame saying " My lord, we have news of the enemy, she is ammasing her forced for a besiegment and digging in for a long chill winter..." clearly he didnt like hearing this and Damascos said " Worry not, Kigra and I will be back in time to burn her out of her hole and we will have our domain at last" a fire grin crossed hi s face at that notion.

Kigra was rather content with herself being left alone in the silent woods. She was shivering and her breath could be seen in the cold. But she stayed for whatever reason. Dark spirits drifted in and out of her sight as she sat there humming to herself. They were comforted by her presence and she was by them all of them were there except for a couple sent to follow the three vampires, hiding behind trees and stalking them at their heels.
"Why am I so compelled to be here. In these trees, in the cold. How long have I been gone? When will my love notice that im not there and come looking for me. He'll think I've gone mad if he sees me here starring into nothingness. I'll go home soon, I must n't worry him....." She trailed off into sleep. The spirits really were causing her to become mad.

Her golden eyes turned towards Damascos. "Have you looked up at the stars my love. They are so beautiful tonight." Her voice was soft and calm and she herself was barely awake. "I think they are the ones who called me out here and I found him. I found Hadrien, but I...but I couldn't kill him...." She trailed off again into sleep.

A small spirit swept down over the sleeping Kigra, shed overused her connection and it had drained her, leaving her body as perfect prey. Before it could feed on ehr energy, a large claw ripped through it and banished the fiend fro the mortal realm. A large demonic growl echoed through the forests as Damascos sent out a burst of energy that dispelled the foul ones and there presence over the area. He bent over Kigra and began breathing his warmth breath over her, making the shadow cloak waver and ripple while he sent heat and warmth into his love.


Hadrien was almost knocked out of hi senses when Damascos sent out his sphycic attack on the shadows. He no longer acted asleep as they were gone and he didnt need to ward them off but the energy that hit him was somthing worse to fear. He smelled Damascos familiar breath and scent and poked through Kyras hair to look about, his tiny nose sniffing about in the snow. The two of them stood just over by the other tree ad he was holding someone under a black blanket. Prehaps one of his troops?

Kigra was fully awake now. Almost startled to find herself in the middle of the woods. "What on earth? what brought me here?" She saw her lover standing over her and she held him. "I don't know what came over me. I wasn't myself." She allowed her feet to touch the ground so that she could stand. "I...I saw him. I saw Hadrien! But I don't know how I..I.." She was rather confused of herself but happy just to see him. So she gave him a long passionate kiss.

She nodded with a sweet smile on her face. The moonlight gave the snow in the clearing the luster of miday, and she could see his face clearly though it was night. "I think my father would have liked you. It's a shame he's no longer with us. He always did want a man for me. So I could be protected, be loved and taken care of." Kigra held his hand and rested her head on his chest. "Lets walk a bit first. We hardley have quiet moments together."

Hadrien was no longer on her shoulder but was crawling on his tiny legs and wings with a determined look on his face. He was almost like a spy in the movies trying to sneak up on some and his minutre furry form made the idea of attacking the leviathon sized demon laughable. But the fact that that 4 inch bat was the darkrealsm stronget warrior made it also ironicly intriguing. Could he actualy pick a fight as a bat and win against Damascos?


The demon began walking towards Kyra and held Kigras arms against his body to keep her hands warm agaisnt the night. His shadowy veil had disipated and he now cloacked her form in his own wings. He was hearing the cheering vampires victory a ways off and the burning fires roar but somehow... he heard somthing more He almost sensed that Kyra was near and because of her larger form, was more noticable then the bat that was his nemises. If he took a few more well aimed steps hed actualy step right on his old rival.
