"Either I'm paranoid or there is a strange aura floating through the air." said Scott tencing up and pulling his scythe into attack position. He started to morph the air around him and slowly turned into his meta-human form. His white skin turned dull grey and his hair turned pale white. His back now had a large pair of demon wings and his head dawned a large pair of black horns.

Pandora could sense it too, and bent low in her wolf form, now snarling and ready to attack at whoever it was.

Electrical surges spawned from one part of Mantis' body and entered another, causing the electricity to build energy, and was ready to strike at any moment feeling the aura the others could feel.

From the corner of the hall came a large mutant. This was one of the many undead sentient mutants. Its head had dawned a large gash and its arm was the size of a large machine gun. Scott reacted by pulling his scythe to his shoulder and slashing, which sent out a large purple cuncusive blast.

Name: Nikalina "Nika" Douval
Bio: She was born shortly after her parents went up into the colonies with the other rich families. From birth to age 12 she lived in the colony Merca 4212 and hated every minute. Her peers were sefl absorbed and conceited she wanted to see th earth, she thought that those in the colonies should be helping those on earth. When she was 11 her father died in battle down on earth, she didn't know him that well, he'd been gone since she was 5 and was just a passing memory. Her mother's wealth was running out, so Nika took what she'd saved up and what her father had given her and enrolled herself in the medics field of the army. Once she'd gotten enough training she was sent to earth. She arrived on earth for the first time in her life when she was 19. When her unit was landing on the battlefield, most were killed. She broke away and stayed undercover until she'd gotten away from that field.
Personality: caring, but stubborn, somewhat mysterious
Race: Colonist
Weapons: one small dagger and a handheld tazer
Appearence: short spiked red hair, she's about 5'6", somewhat lanky, she wears her father's dog-tags

Nika had finally gotten free of the duties she'd trained for and surprisingly enough, without a scratch. She walked through the deserted city amongst the rubble looking this way and that. She kept to one side of the street mostly in the shadows. Up on her left there was a school where she thought she'd heard some noises. She slowed her pace and parked herself at the corner of an alley way in the shadows as she watched the building. From one of her pockets she drew a small heat detector and shone it towards the school. Within she saw 5 or so figures at different distances. The seeker was't top quality so all she saw were heated blobs rather than actual figures, but that was enough. She turned it off and put it back in the pocket and decided to wait until she foudn out what was inside.

Cuncussive blast did damage, but little considering this being knew or felt what pain was. It continued at its slow pace towards the group. Scott drew closer quickly and slashed at the being continuely till all that was visible was a large gorey hunk of meat that stood atop the waist of what was once human.

Nika stay haunched in the same spot until her legs started to ache. She wouldn't stay there all day waiting, so she finally got up and snuck across the street to the school. She peered in the front broken window and, not seeing anyone, quietly slipped inside. She stayed on alert listening for any sounds of movement. Her eyes had to adjust to the dimmer light within, she waited, her ears straining for a warning should something attack.

As soon as the undead hunk of flesh dropped to the ground Scott sensed another presense. He rounded as many corners till he felt the presense at its strongest. He sensed it was human and turned back to his regular form. "I know your there. Come out and tell me your reason for being here." said Scott in his usual calm and comanding voice.

She heard him and stood slowly, her eyes were almost completely justed to the dark. She scanned the room looking over the darkened shapes. "s**t" she said silently and stared ahead silently. She really didn't know why she was wondering around alone, she just had to look around earth. "I'm alone and not sure where I am."

Scott was relieved to hear that for once something didn't want to kill him. "I won't hurt you. I'm looking for some traveling companions. This town is about to run out of food so if you wish to join us I suggest you come with us." said Scott in a slightly cold voice.

She stepped around the corner in front of him. "I have training in first aid and could be of some help." She crossed her arms in front of her waiting for a response.

Scott looked the women over and than could sense an indifferance in her. He knew that she was a colonist from the frequency that was given off by the nanites in her system. He wasn't one to judge though. "Thats good to hear. We don't realy have anyone with medical training on my little expedition yet."

He shook her hand and a faint smile went across his face. "Nice to have you on our side. My names Scott." he said still smiling and wondering were his other two companions were the last time he left them.
