Eleana-chan suki-chanx3 Eleana-chan Yeah. So I am Eleana. I have played flute for... (Counts on Fingers) Six years. I guess My favorite song to play is "Pirates of the Carribean." It was our Marching show my Freshman year. Just a question. Does anyone else name their instrument? I remember that I named my flute then I forgot what I named "her"---it was definitely a "her" though. Does your's have a name? yes. her name is Xena. Not named after the warrior princess, but for a different reason. teehee, I named my flute pheobe. xD

Eurgh Hello darlings! I am Eurgh- though I don't really care what you call me. I've been playing the flute for four years, whereas the piccolo only a year and a half. I dabble on alto and bass flute whenever I can. Sadly, I don't own either instrument.
I own the Band Geek United Guild, and have an odd obssession with learning about serial killers (Ah, midnight reading at crimelibrary.com...).
Now, this glass piccolo interests me. It would be a dream if it sounded good... welcome to the flute guild. I'll post some pictures soon of my picc and the extension on my flute, for anyone who's interested. ^_^

This is awesome that so many people have joined the guild since I've been gone on vacation! well I haven't gone back and checked everyone who has joined yet but i'm sure the crew have done a great job welcoming and helping everyone so just wanted to say hi to all the new members! xd heart

Hola! I'm Riharu and this is my 5th year playing flute. I'm a sophomore in Tejas and 6th in the top band at my school. (I would be higher, but I didn't care as much for band tryouts, as long as I made Honor's!)
I've played the alto flute and piccolo, and tried the bass (it's HEAVY!!). Right now... all I have much time for is region tryout music, because I want to make state, and Phase1 is Tuesday. >.> But I got Mozart's Concerto number2 I think... It's fun to randomly play. But Chaminade's Concertino and Variations on Carnival of Venice are my favorite pieces. ^_^

Just call me Mezo.
I'm a senior in my schools highest band class and I'm fourth chair. Yeah, I know, not much to be proud of. I've been playing flute for six years and piccolo for three, but only during marching band.
Actually, I just moved up to Symphonic(the higher class) band. I was needed in Concert band (the lower class) to help the newbies. So being fourth chair is pretty good for a newb in that class. It was funny to see the looks I got when I beat the old girl out of her chair. =P

omg, I know the feeling. I just went from third chair second band as a freshman to third chair top band as a sophomore. I beat out two seniors and 3 juniors in that band and all of the other sophs are in bottom band. All of the flutes hate me now because they all like one of the sophs I beat. They say that he "deserved it more" and he was "much better than me". Funny coming from people sitting below me lol

Hi, I'm Kurohoshi, you can call me that or Kuri or Annie, whatever. I have played flute for six years now. I occassionally play piccolo, but mostly it's flute for me. i'm in the lower band at my school, but still we're not bad.... just not good blaugh . We haven't had seating yet. (It's tomorow!!! wish me luck) Marching band is my favorite part of band. My band started doing BOA competitions this year and it's lots of fun.
This guild sounds awsome. I hope i get to talk to you guys alot! heart

I'm Brittany, but you can call me Parmey. I've been playing flute for 7 years, and piccolo for a bit too.
I've always been second chair since I've been in high school, but finally I'm allowed to be first (seating was sort of messed up, we had auditions but seniors generally got the first chair.)
I'm currently awaiting the cutoff scores to see if I made region band and if I can audition for all-state.

I'm Melissa_chiquita and i've been playing the flute for about 5 years^^ and i'm starting to pick up on the piccolo blaugh my fav song is Let my heart go on from titanic^^ and i guess i'm pretty good>_< if ya wanna c me play i'm on youtube and my account is mavigil50 if ya wanna c but my flute was actin weird on me that day i took the vid and i messed up on the end>_< but owell i'll put a btr 1 up sum day>_<

wow look at all the new people! XD they just keep coming! It's awesome! so many flute-playing friends. xd (I'm a nerd. Don't let it bother you too much.) ^ OMG I saw Titanic on tv the other day. (I hate that movie-LDC is such a BAD ACTOR!!! XP) but I used to play the music all the time, it's so pritty....

I have been playing the flute for 4 years. I also play the piano and voilin and have tried playing many other instuments. I hate it when I accidently leave my flute at home and have to go through band without playing. ( Band is my absolute fave class. I would rather take band then Choir.) I like composing music and I am working on my first syphony. (did I spell it right?) Well thats me. ( by the way I do have short term memory loss. not as bad as the one in the movie though. I am also pretty insane and I am really really hyper.)

Hi, I'm latina2012, you guys can call me latina. I was really surprised when I got the invite to join this guild and I am glad that I was invited. I don't often get invited to anything. The invite made me feel welcome. Anyways, I am second chair in my high school band and have been since my sophomore year(currently a junior). My band director does not challenge our band so, all the pieces I know are way to easy, a beginner could play it. Latina, if you want, look up anything by Nobou Uematsu, if you know the Final Fantasy Series, his music is beautiful, even if you play the violin parts. (tis all still in the key of C!!)

konichiwa all other flutes... my name is Gabrielle.... Gaby for short if you will. i have been playing flute for 5 years and only tried once to play piccolo; on my lesson teachers daughters, but my mother is in the process of getting me one... i hate to talk bad about my section but i am excluded a lot here at my school so don't kill my if i dont do any thing for a while.
thus far i have 2 flutes, an Armstrong and a Deford, i need names for them. and the glass piccy and other types of flutes, bass and alto, have caught my attention. have any more info. on those i would love it.^^ thankies and i shall be back soon^^
