Glissa leaned back in her chair, contemplating what Kirai had just said. She crossed her arms and puffed out her chest, feigning irritation.

"Well... How bout we call this a temporary truce then?"
((Sorry, brain not cooperating))

"Mmmm... I dunno... But if I don't have you to constantly worry about, what else will I have to do?" Glissa maintained her puffed up stature for the moment, and turned her head to the side, looking at Kirai out of the corners of her eyes.

Austin G. opened the doors to the cafeteria slowly, looking inside to see who was seated. The headmistress and some punk, apparently. And they seemed to be acting rather strange, as if they were attempting to avoid something.maybe the punk was her crush? he didn't know..he didn't really care, didn't affect him a bit. Headmistress was pretty, to be sure, but she definitely wasnt his style. Her attitude was far different from his own, and he didn't like having to adjust his own attitude a bit.

But all that didn't matter. what mattered was setting up Kia's lunch account, and getting her some food to eat before she collapsed from hunger. He slowly walked past the two seated at a table, and made his way over to Bruce.
"Yes, I need to activate an account under the name of Kiamani Fontine?"

Austin smiled for a moment, sweatdropping as Kia spazzed out and made straight for the munchies. He'd activated her account, and it was okay for to now eat. He'd also heard some of Kia's favorite foods, and found them rather interesting. some of his own weren't too different, though he did like similar stuff.
"Kia, the lunchline is over HERE...That's a trashcan!"
Kia was, though unaware of it, headed towards a trashcan with leftovers from a week before.
Austin rushed to stop her from almost leaping into the can of old food.

Austin watched poor, hungry Kia attack the helpless trashcan, then sighed when slop basically smothered the floor. Austin leapt over the junk effortlessly, and landed next to Kia. He quietly took her hand, and said nothing as he simply led her to the lunch line.
"Remind me to never let you go hungry, ok?"
Austin let go of Kia's hand once he'd left her at the lunch line, then went back to clean up her mess. He formed a handsign, then placed his fingers to his mouth. He blew out a small cloud of purple acid, which proceeded to consume all of the liquid and slop on the ground. the only thing that remained after the acid cloud had passed was wrappers, and Austin continued after dissolving the food to pick up the trash and replace it in the can. He stood the can up, then shook off his hands of filth to take a seat. Headmistress and the punk probably thought That Austin and Kia were the weirdest pair imaginable at the moment, and he almost oculdn't blame them.

Austin sighed at her appetite. How could she've ignored being that famished for so long? She obviously had a strong will to avoid something like that for a big period of time.
"Be careful, Kia. You might choke, and I don't think my cpr is good enough to help you out.."
Austin caught himself after a moment, realizing he'd grabbed her hand earlier without even noticing. HE slightly blushed, then buried his face in his arms so that he could snag a bit more sleep while Kia munched away. His thoughts fluttered back to that of his new car, and his ability to get home now. He wondered how his little brother, Cameron, would look now that he was 16... His parents probably had grayer hair now, and were beginning to get shorter. He wasn't sure what to expect..
"Hey, Kia? I'm going home tomorrow, to visit my family. The one i left behind.."
Austin sat up after Kia'd finished off her pasta, and spoke more clearly.
"And i'd like it if someone would come with me. Would you?"

"I'm not sure, really. Why? You want something from me?"
In all honesty, Austin felt slightly disgusted at Kia's question. Kia may not have known how big a question like that was since she had no prior knowledge of his history with his family, but usually when a person invites you to go visit their family it's because they want that person around. not because they have to get them to come, but because they wanna be there.

But such was the nature of the world nowadays. everyone is always looking to make a quick buck, or make gain out of honest things. The entire system of such an idea disgusted Austin to the very core. And since Kia had, in fact, only met him about two days ago, he couldn't expect her to understand such complex matters. Or know how deeply some things stemmed with him.

"Fine, name something you want. Within reason please.."
