~He stood up slowly and tucked a fallen peice of hair behind his pointed ear. He smiled lightly to meris although he seemed to shut into himself a bit, seemingly scared. He stood somewhat stiff and backed up a couple steps from the two. His purple eyes stared to the ground.~

Meris looked at the girl and then the unicorn. "What have I told you about adding y to the end of all your nouns? Teddy and pony are okay because they are suppose to be that way. It's scarf not scarf-y." He corrected as he tried to get her to stop pulling his arm and just hand his hand.
"Well, Mr. Pony-corn gave me a pretty scarf..." She replied, fixing her speech. "Did you Mr. Pony -corn."
"Alice, he is a unicorn." Meris pointed out, before turning to the .. not quite obviously a man. "Thank you for being nice to Alice."

~He smiled down to the child, about to say he had given the scarf to her, but Meris now spoke to him. He looked to Meris and gave a small, shy smile as his cheeks turned a faint pink as he blushed. He felt like leaving, as he found it awkward in the current situation, though he couldn't get his legs to move and take him.~

Okay he'd been polite and made sure the guy wasn't going to come after them, it was time to split. The raccoon turned his black rimmed eyes to the little girl, "Come on Alice we need to go." Meris began pulling her hand and guiding her back to everyone else.
"Bye Mister Po...er.. Unicorn!" She said waving back a him.

~Uni watched the two of them leave for a minute. He soon stared to the ground and sighed lightly. He turned slightly and started walking in a different direction, being sure to try and stay away from people, though it was quite difficult. As he walked, it seemed almost as though he wasn't even touching the ground. After a few minutes he stopped and sighed, staring off in the direction the child and Meris had gone. He didn't much understand why, but he started to head off in that direction, towards the two and their group.~

Meris pulled Alice back to the group and handed her off to another girl so that he could watch their back, making sure no one was following them. He scaled up over the fire escape and watching from his balcony view of the alley he spied the Unicorn who had been talking to them earlier. "This is why I hate adults." He waited till the Unicorn was beneath him and then dropped down infront of him, baring his path. "Did you have something you wanted to say to Alice?" The raccoon asked arms crossed as he stood in front of him.

~He jumped a bit as Meris landed down on the ground infront of him, not noticing he dropped the glass marble with the star in the middle. He stumbled a half step back before stopping himself. He stared down to the ground and seemed frozed with fear. He opened his mouth to speak but nothing came out, so he merely shut it once more. His expression than changed as he stared to his empty hand.~ Oh no.. ~He looked around the ground frantically. He lost the first gift given to him in so long.~

Meris picked up the marble and looked at the man scrambling around on the ground, feeling rather bad that he had just intended to beat up a man who looked like a girl and acted so.... weak and scared. "This is one of Alice's treasure, why did you have it?" He asked holding the glass between his thumb and index finger.

~He looked up to Meris and soon had his eyes fall apon the marble. He stood up slowly. His slightly dirtied clothes went back to their clean look. He held his hand out, wanting the marble.~ She gave the marble to me.. May I please have it back? ~His voice was quiet and almost choked out of him.~

Meris placed it catiously in his hand, "If Alice gave it to you then it's yours." He looked back at the unicorn and started slowly down the alley, keeping and eye on his over his shoulder.

~Uni smiled lightly as the marble was placed in his hand. His slender, delicate fingers wrapped around the marble and carefully, he placed it in his pocket. He looked to Meris, and saw him walking away cautiously. Uni stood there for a minute, unsure as to if he should follow once more or not. His curiousity soon took hold once more and he followed slowly.~

The raccoon stopped and rolled up his sleeves, "I can't let you follow Mr. Unicorn." He asked walking back towards him. "I'd rather not do this, but your not going to stop following us are you?"

"Because it's against the rules. No adults allowed and nobody not it the gang gets to know where our base it. It's an issue of security." He said drawing a line in the sands that drifted over the cobblestones. "Don't follow us."
