"I believe those are the words I heard used." Her eyes brightened a bit. "I am not...good enough. I want certian aspects of my...hereditary personality removed. Is that possible with this infusion?"

Was it possible...he made a human think it was a phoenix and then made that human into a phoenix and yet not. Walking closer, he raised a hand and flipped back the hood of Verdandy's cloak. Yet he showed no distaste in her appearance. He merely smiled, and wrapped an arm around her shoulders. "My dear, it indeed is. And I can help you for free." He knew that was a magic word as well, free.

Verdandy sucked in her breath when he lowered her hood, and still stood with an embaressed expresion as he pulled away. She was shaking a bit, but she did not attempt to put the hood back up. In fact, she was a bit relieved that he hadn't freaked out.
Then all was forgotten. "For free? But why would you offer such...time and materials for free?"

Teon chuckled. "Why for the knowledge my dear. Think of the wonderful contribution you can make to the field of alchemy." A friendly squeeze to her her shoulder. "No need to be shaking in your boots, relax. You're safe here with me." Ha, safe. Now to play nice and lure her into a false sense of securities. "Something to eat or drink maybe to calm your nerves, dear?"

"W-what nerves?"
He was the first to see her like this, and it was somewhat unsettling. She wasn't sure how much of this she could handle before she cracked. "How..." cough "How would you do it? I mean...my violence is something that is not hpysical, ah?"

"Oh I could think of a few ways. For instance, your violence is indeed in your mind. It's a feasible thing. One simply finds the spot in your mind where that violence stems from and...extract it, so to speak. Or block it, though that isn't permanent. I know, seems far fetched. But once I made a little girl think she was a bird." Ah, his Aiden. He did miss her so. For a moment he drifted and thought of that little eight year old girl. My how she had grown. Teon shook his head. "Of course this 'extracting' involves exposure to many different things, some things may be lost to you forever, some things may be gained. It is truly a tough decision." He cleared his throat. "Going through with it, you would loose a part of you, essentially. That can be quite devastating to someone."

Verdandy thought about all the things she might lose...what good memories did she have? Learning english. That was about it. Life in the underdark had been torturous at best. What would she care if she lost it all?
"I do not have anytihng to lose." Said in a sorroful voice. "But where would my violence go? Is it just...gone?"

"If you want it just gone, it can be. But then again if you still wanted it...I'm sure a suitible vessel couldd be found for it to be housed in. Perhaps even another being. Perhaps that would be the best place. A little attack pet for you or something of the sorts."

Attack pet? Well, she wasn't so sure fo that. But it made a good fall back plan. If for sme reaosn sometihng went wrong, then she could always take that part of her back right? Well, not that she thought she'd want it back.
"Ah, that sounds all right. A vessel, like another person?"

"Yes indeed. Another person, animal, plant even, though I'm not sure it would hold out long. Basically something living, active tissue to bond to, exist in. Alchemical infusion works in odds ways sometimes."

"Oh. Well, if another person is willing, then I suppose that would be okay." She tapped her braclets together in front of her, looked down at the floor.
"W=when can we start this...infusion?"

Oh how perfect. "As soon as preparations are done. You'll need to find yourself a vessel. Perhaps a child would be best if you can find one. If not, whatever you do find can do. But it is you that must choose the vessel. After all, it'll be your responsibility."

A child? "Why would a child be better?" Her responsibility? Oh, she supposed that she would have to look after her violence, after all it would be a part of her. But could she really do that to a child...maybe a corps would do. Or someone next to dead...

"As with anything, children are more susceptible to things. Infusion goes smother and they effectively grow into their new ways or traits...so says all my tests and research." Was he going to say he had accomplished it that way? Hell no, why give that away? Aiden was still his ace in the hole and he wasn't giving her up.

It was a mark of Verdandy's sincere want of this, when she waisted no time in leavien (through the window of all places...) and starting her search immidiatly for someone... child...to take what she had to give away.
To be completely honest, Verdandy hadn't expected to find anyone. But when a dying child in an allyway, orphened and two breaths away from seeing Death, they do not hesitate in agreeing to anything that will keep them alive for a while longer. The girl was about six or seven, and Verdandy alwost cried when sshe found the girl. She talked herself into picking up the girl and bringing her back to Teon's house. This little girls body is useless anyway, near to death. Plus, even though I a making her violent, at least I am giving her a shot at life, ah? Perhaps she would grow to contstrain the violence, as I have.
Back in the little cottage, she held the little girl in her arms and aginst her bossom, as if she could protect her somehow.
