My spiritual path includes both the practical & medicinal side of herbs, as well as correspondeces/associations with that herb. Some pagans will go off the charts trying to explain to you what correspondences go with which herb at what time, etc, etc. But I focus mainly on the practicality of an herb firstly, associations and correspondences usually come second if I am in that frame of mind at the time. 3nodding
Sounds interesting. Tell us more.
Yes, Yes, tell us more! ^_^

Or here's a thought- what if she merely reversed the dates? I mean, since (If I understand, although I'm not pagan) doesn't each one celebrate a -season-, not a date? So celebrating winter solstice should be in the winter for -you-, not in the winter for someone else.

If I'm not mistaken, that's what they do. *nods*

For those on the Pagan path at the moment, especially those who have no connection with others of their faith, I recommend www.witchvox.com

It has a lot of articles that are very well written. I do believe they have one on Witches/Pagans in other hemispheres.

I was fifty percent successful. There was fresh rosemary and thyme and a few others in the turkey- garlic in the potatoes, and a variety of fresh greens in the salad. The turkey stuffing and potatoes were a hit, but he picked out the foreign not-lettuce greens from the salad.

Hey, baby steps! XD I already have my mom on my side, and most of her friends, and my whole family, and when I have kids, they'll grow up with herbs being as familiar as cough syrup and aspirin in other households. I figure one crotchety old man won't stop me! XD
