Omi looked up at the girl, astonished. "You are really amazing, Zari..." Gasped the assassin as he pulled himself to his feet. "And yes, I am fine. Thanks to you. Now, let's get out of here and meet up with the guys. Follow me." With those words, Omi slowly made his way towards the door and peered out. Luckily, the coast seemed to be clear. With one final look, Omi slowly left the confines of the house towards his car. And, once he had reached the vehicle, the assassin turned towards the girl, motioning her to follow. "Common. The coast is clear."

Omi paused after hearing Zari's words, his eyes staring blankly passed the girl as his thoughts began to overtake him. He knew that the girl had lost her family and that she had nowhere else to go. Unfortunately, she was going to have to stay under the guidance of Kritiker, if she was going to survive; it was going to be hard for her in the future, there was no doubt about it. Sighing, Omi, soon brought his gaze upon Zari, a sad smile spreading across his face. "Don't you worry, Zari," whispered Omi, patting her head gently. "Just go to sleep now. Everything will be fine." And with those final words, the assassin closed the door and quickly got into the driver's seat.

Once everything was in order, Omi turned on the engine and quickly backed out of the parking lot. Taking one final look at the house, Omi stepped on the ignition and steered toward the city where his old headquarters used to be...

It did not take long until he reached the flower shop. Parking on the other side of the street, Omi quickly got out of the car and opened Zari's door. "Alright, time to get out..."

Omi could not help but smile as he listened to the little girl's words. It was quite strange, actually. She was a warrior who had the ability to end life but, at the same time, she was just a toddler, who shared all the attributes of children her age. "Don't worry. You can still rest..." And, after unstrapping her seatbelt, the assassin gently lifted her into his arms as he turned towards the Flower Shop. "Hopefully the other guys will be there," thought Omi out loud as he entered the abandoned building.

As he descended the spiral staircase, Omi looked down at the familiar surroundings, his entire body tensing in fear that no one would be there waiting for him. However, much to his joy, both Ken and Youji could be seen lounging on the sofa. But, much to his disappointment (but not to any surprise), Ran was nowhere in sight. "No sign of, Ran, huh?" Asked Omi as he sat down next to his two comrades.

"Nope... what would you expect?" Ken responded.

"Don't dwell on it," continued Youji, taking a puff from his cigareette. "He has gone through enough. You can't really blame the guy. Besides, we have to focus on the mission at hand..."

"That is absolutely correct."

Surprised, all three of the assassins looked up to see two familiar figures making their way down the spiral staircase. "Manx... Birman!" Exclaimed the three assassins. Of course, all of them expected the two Kritiker members. But at the same time, seeing them just made it all the more real. "Welcome back, gentlemen," Manx said, smiling. "Brings back memories... whose the girl...?"

Both of the Kritiker did not looked amused. Seeing their expression, Omi quickly spoke, ignoring the snickers from both of his comrades. "You don't understand... her family was killed by a gang and she can..."

"Omi," interrupted Manx, her eyes looking over the younger girl before bringing her eyes back to the boy. "She is just a little child. How could you bring her here? Especially when we are trying to reform Weiss..."

It was then that all three members looked up at the two women in surprise. Their surprise was actually much like their amazement at seeing both Manx and Birman: even though they knew it was a possibility, just hearing it made it all the more real. "So, it's true..." Muttered Ken as Youji took another puff from his cigarette, soon blowing the smoke into the air gently through his lips. "Listen to me," continued Omi, no doubt shocked, but at the same time still agitated by their reaction to Zari. "I had no where else to bring her. Not only that but she can fight real well. What could be the harm..."

"We are not going to babysit a child!" Exclaimed Birman, her eyes glaring down at the assassin. "This is serious. It much too dangerous for a girl her age to stay here. Not only that, but she will just act as a tool for Naigie and Tot..."

Immediately, after hearing her words, Omi covered her mouth with his hands, a huge bead of sweat falling down the side of his face. "Haha... I'm sorry... she is just really tired," laughed the assassin nervously. "She is usually not like this at all!" After he spoke those words, Omi quickly lowered his head so that he could whisper in her ear and did so, his voice trying to remain calm. "It is difficult to explain, but they are our bosses and Tot and Naigie are old enemies of ours... we thought that they were defeated, but unfortunately, it seems as though they have returned..." After he had filled her in, Omi quickly lifted his head and continued the conversation with the two women. "And, like the girl says, she does not need babysitting. She is quite capable of taking care of herself..."

When Omi had finished speaking, Youji soon broke in after inhaling more smoke from his cigarette. "Seems like you have a soft spot for this girl, Omi," replied the assassin casually, releasing the smoke from his mouth, allowing it to drift to the ceiling. "I knew that you liked young girls, but this is just crazy..."

"What!?" Cried out Omi in response to Youji's comment, as Ken chuckled.

The two Kritiker members looked at each other after Youji's comment, both grinning despite the current situation that they all faced. It was going to be like the old days when they all fought against Takatori, Shwartz and Schreient. However, there was no doubt in either of the women's minds that Ran was not going to be re-joining them. He had already gotten his revenge and now had everything that he had lost. If he re-joined Weiss, he would be putting those that he loved in danger once more... he would not be gaining anything, he would be losing all that he had been fighting for every second of his time as an assassin.

Omi looked at the two liaisons, his face red from embarrassment. "If you do not want her to stay with us, then why doesn't Kritiker take her? She has no where to go... her family has been killed, most likely by those that we are hunting ourselves; they want her and it is our job to protect her!"

"Omi..." Whispered Ken, his face holding an expression of surprise just like everyone else in the room.

"So, what do you say? Manx, you yourself should understand my situation. Persia took me in after my parents were killed, which got me involved in this organization. And even though he was my uncle, it is no different from what I am trying to do..." As he spoke those words, Omi suddenly realized Zari's movements. "What are you looking for?" Asked the assassin suddenly.

"Well," said Youji lazily after Zari had hidden herself behind Omi's leg. "It does seem like the girl likes Omi. You can't really expect to take her away from him, do you? I mean, you have already ruined our lives enough by getting us tangled up in Weiss. Why ruin it even more?" The assassin paused in mid-speech as he took another puff from his cigarette. "And, she is one hell of a fighter. There is no doubt about that. I witnessed it myself...."

"It is true," put in Ken helpfully. "The girl does kick some serious a**."

However, despite the words from the assassins, both liaisons continued to look skeptical. Not only that, but at the mention of a blade, the two women's eyes widened. "Blade?" Asked Birman, quite surprised. "You can't be serious..."

"It is true," said Omi, looking down at Zari, before bringing his attention back to the two liaisons. "And it seems as though the blade is lost. Didn't you bring it in the room with you?" Asked Omi kindly, turning back to the girl.

"We don't have time for this!" Interrupted Manx, her face quite serious. "We have to go over the mission..."

Omi, Ken and Youji each looked at the girl in surprise when they heard Zari taught back to the two liaisons. "Damn, Omi. You've got yourself a real catch," joked Youji, taking yet another puff of his cigarette, finishing it off. "If I were you, I would be careful."

"Common guys!" Complained Omi, soon lifting Zari in his arms. "I'm going to take her to the car and check if her blade is there. In the meantime, you two can fill the others in. Okay?" And without giving either Birman or Manx a chance to respond, the assassin quickly darted up the spiral staircase with the toddler.

As soon as they reached the car, Omi opened the front door, allowing the interior light to turn on. "Do you see it?" Asked Omi, as he himself looked for the weapon.
