Kira smiled in relief when Kouji showed up and looked up and down the tunnel, checking it for whatever one might worry about seeing. She didn't say anything about the sword as Kouji attached it to her belt. "Looks... Right." She nodded her head, serious for alittle.
Curiosity took over and she walked over to one of the torches and pulled it out of the wall and then followed Kouji. She followed Kouji, trusting him to make sure nothing bad happened as she inspected the torch. The fire wasn't hot but it gave out light. The wood... It was still living, she could sense this and this puzzled her. It should be dead, but she could tell it was still growing. "I don't really like it down here. It's too alive." She mumbled almost to herself.

"Well you do look good with a sword..." Kouji cocked his head and shook it What the hell did I just say to the live freek! He thought to himself. "Uh yeah well just stay close, and don't wander off... or I will leave you." He said in a harsh tone.
Kouji noticed Kira geab the fire and bring it back with her. Kouji stoped and grabed the fire out of her hand, throughing it back to its resting place. "Do you have a thick skull? We are sneeking into a lair of something here, and you bring something that makes it hard to hide with, not only that but what if something came down the way we came in. They would notice it missing from its place. This is a stelth thing wer are doing here, try to be more not... you." He wisperd to her.
"But what do you mean its too alive down here?" Kouji asked puzzled, looking around scaneing the area.)

"These hallways are well lit and I highly doubt that me carrying that torch was going to do anything to make it hard to hide because there are no shadows here." She said looking at their surroundings, "Though I admit I didn't think about the other thing."
"Here..." She grabbed his hand, looking slightly determined, and pulled one of the torches out of the wall again and put it in his hand. "Before you put it back... Just feel it... Doesn't it feel alive?" She crossed her arms, looking earnestly at him. "That stick is living and it shouldn't be living. It doesn't have roots and that type of magic fire shouldn't be able to burn on anything living. Something is wrong with this place."

"Well you may be right for now, but when there is light compeating together, shadows will apear." Kouji said walking.
He stoped when she grabed his hand. What do you..." He stoped as she started to explain. He cringed as she stuck his hand in the fire, then stoped when he relized it wasent burning him. "What is it?" He said amazed. "I gess it dose feel alive, but I'm shur there is some type of magic that can do this. Mabey its some type of Duridic magic or even Demonic for all I know." He said. "Now lets put it back and take it with us when we leave. We should contiue movieing." He said putting the torch back and slowly walking down the path again.

Kira shrugged slightly, "Sounds okay to me." She continued to follow Kouji. She felt like sneaking around, like she read in the books from her village but in the light that felt kind of silly. "I wonder how long this goes on?" She asked out loud.
She then covered her mouth with one hand, she heard something ahead of them. It was a shuffling sound and then the mumble of voices. She couldn't make out what they were saying, she wasn't close enough. She got closer to Kouji, so she could whisper to him. "Can you hear that?"
((If you're struck with sudden inspiration... Go ahead and use it. biggrin ))

Kouji's ears perked up with the sudden sound of voices, "Yeah... but I can't make out what they are saying eather. Hey I want you to wait here as I go look and see how meany there are, and what they are talking about." Kouji wispered activating his demon sword.
He slowly snuck up to the corner of a turn, he peeked his head out just slightly and saw 2 people standing there with pole arms. well they are oviously guarding something, but what? Kouji thought to himself. He listened to them talk, but all he could hear was them talking about there day. He quietly snuck back to Kira, "There are 2 guards, and they are just talking about there day, nothing important. So what do you wana do? We could easly take them, but they could be friendly." Kouji said takeing out his other sword and activating it.

Kira nodded as Kouji told her to stay and she waited patiently. When he returned she thought about it for a minute. "Well..." She whispered. "I could approach them and be friendly and if they end up not being friendly you could attack. Take them by surprise?" She nodded thoughtfully and then looked down at the sword she now wore.
"I don't think this will help me though. If I'm carrying it, it looks like I know how to fight and makes me less friendly." She began to take the sword off, got a little stuck but figured it out. She held it out to Kouji, "You hold on to this. I'll take it back later. Either after they've been defeated or we've found out that they are friendly. What do you think?"

((Sorry... I've been pretty busy and didn't have time to reply sooner.))
Kira nodded, "I can do this... You'll be backing me up anyway." She gave him a smile and then leaving Kouji behind, walked out to meet the guards. At first they didn't do anything but stiffen up and stare at her.
Smiling broadly and not appearing nervous or afraid, she held her hands out to show them she didn't have any weapons. "Hello! So nice to see someone here... I'm a tad bit lost... I came down the well and I've been looking for a way out. I'm also wondering about this place. This is a very interesting place. What do you call it? Why are you here?" She said all of this cheerfully and smiling like always.
Kira had stopped walking when she was close enough to stay out of the way of their weapons. The guards didn't seem to know what to do with her, they looked at eachother for a moment.

Kouji watched her carefully as she aproched the men, he saw them go riged when she stood slightly back from them. The guards looked at eachouther and mumbled something so Kira couldent here them, ignoring her questions. One guard looked at her, "You are trespassing on Drow land Elf!" They said in a hostle tone, "Oh damit" He said to him self quietly. He haddent noticed the color of there skin in the light, he hit himself in the head. "Now prepare to die!" The guards shouted as they charged her.
The both slashed at Kira with there halberds, Kouji quickly formed his other sword around his hand and jumped infront of Kira blocking both there attacks, "Kira stand back." Kouji said knocking there wepons off his and charging in, he slashed at one, but he quickly droped his pole arm and drew his sword blocking the blow. The other guard droped his aswell and drew his sword stabing at Koujis side. Kouji quickly jumped back dodgeing the blow, then running back up to the first guard, stabing at his shoulder, the guard dodged and parryed the attack, stabing at Koujis side. Kouji blocked it and slashed the guard across the chest, cutting him and his armor in half. The other guard quickly charged in and slashed overhead at Kouji, he blocked with one sword as he thrust his other into the mans stomich. Relesing a tiny amount of poisen, Within seconds the guard fell on the floor and started to vilently shake. His arms clenching at his wound and heart, after a couple more secounds his chest made a small poping sound. Kouji looked at the man and smiled, "AHHH!, My new type of poisen was a success." He said mostly to himself.
"So should we continue?" He said looking at Kira. "But if we do I think it better if I do the talking from now on, I know how your race and Drow don't get along." He said turning his swords back into cubes.

As they had attacked, Kira had already been backing away from them when Kouji told her to. She stared at the fighting, it was fast and hard to keep up with. Her attention was drawn to the death throes of the poisoned guard and wanted to help him at least die less painfully. He died quickly though, which was a relief and Kira never moved from her spot to help him. Her face was kind of white and pastey as she looked at the dead drow on the ground. She then moved her gaze from the poisoned drow to Kouji. She nodded quietly.
She walked swiftly over to the two dead drow, "Rest peacefully friends." She murmured looking down. Without looking at Kouji she said, "The only hatred for between us is from the drow. This causes some of us to hate them but not all. We are similar... More so than our relation with the humans..." She sighed and continued to look down. "Let's go..." She started walking.

Kouji looed at Kira, "Whats the matter with you? You should be happy." Kouji said smileing, still getting a buzz on his new poisen working, "But did you see that stupid guard, I mean his heart exploded in his chest. You see the poisen speeds up your heart till it only alows blood in and not out. So the heart keeps fill up with the victomes blood with no relese untill... well... POP!." Kouji said explaining it to her as she was muttering something to the dead drow, once again mostly talking to himself.
As she started to walk off Kouji ran to catch up to her, "Hey whats the matter with you, arent you suposed to be all... well... cheery, and stuff?" Kouji asked with a questioning face.

Kira ignored his description of the posion, hearing bits of it anyway. When he said 'pop!' she shuddered. As he caught up to her, she merely glanced at him and then looked back at the ground. "We should get going... If we don't find a way out of here and find out more about this tunnel. We could be here for days and we need to catch up with the group. We should move quicker. Avoiding fights should help with this. We just won't talk to anyone... Try to keep hidden." She nodded slightly and again started to walk. She raised her head so that she wouldn't walk into anything as she walked along and never really answered Kouji's question.
"I wish these would go out..." She muttered looking at one of the torches. She didn't know how to deal with the way she felt... She was used to only being happy.

||Hehe, sorry I havent been on...||
Kouji thought about what she said, when an idea poped in his head, "Kira, wait, come here and put one of these on." he said stripping two of the dead guards, and throughing here one of the outfits. "With these on people will most likely think we are underbeings. We should be able to pass through without confrentation." He said putting the outfit on, and picking up one of the halberds.
"You know it dosen't fit you... Not being happy all the time." Kouji said looking at Kira."

((Now it's my turn to say sorry... sweatdrop ))
Kira looked at the uniform that she had caught as Kouji threw it to her. Her first instinct was to throw it away but decided that she should wear it. Reluctantly she put it on and shuddered, she felt like she could still feel the presence of the guard. Almost like she was being watched by him. She silently said a prayer for both guards and turned to look at Kouji.
She stared at Kouji, surprised by what he said. She really didn't have a response for him. "Well... I'm not used to being away from my village... It's bound to happen..." She said numbly and looked at the way the guards had been guarding. "Through here?" She gestered limply, trying to cheer up a little. But she just couldn't while wearing a dead guard's outfit.
