xcynicaljoyx i forgot! gonk anyway, you know what's awesome? i just got the violin solo sheet music for Vivaldi's Winter. i'm gonna play it when i get home. blaugh it was one of the best things about Old Boy, because they played it during some cool scenes. i think they played it when he was fighting all those guys in that hall. They play it right before, I think. I guess it's the (eventually) one-handed guy's theme music.

Cutie McHotpants I can't believe no one has mentioned Amelie yet. The music was an integral part of the film. I haven't seen Amelie in a long time. I do remember a scene in Delicatessan where they combined sounds from all around the apartment to make music. There was also a scene in Kitano's Zatoichi where the farmers made music while toiling in the fields. Not to mention the musical finale.

I forgot to talk about Ping Pong. It has a great soundtrack! Sugar Plant, Takkyu Ishino, Supercar, Yoshinori Sunahara... biggrin

I never really paid that much attention to music in a movie unless it was of significance to the film. There is this Chinese movie called Together that had terrific violin.

lol, well especially for me..i've only been playing 3 years anyway. hahha sweatdrop
but! i can play the slow part. lol

I want to hear Winter now. I think I want the soundtrack to AToTS. Ever since I worked in a movie theater, I've wanted to buy soundtrack albums.

I admit Wild Zero would've sucked if it wasn't so campy. But man... it was perfect. Guitar Wolf was great in it. I love it when he jumps out the exploding building.
