((sorry about dissapearing like that. I thought I had submitted the RP I wrote out before I left for my mom's but it seems that either Gaia or my laptop ate it. Not up for anything big, but here goes nothing.))

WRiggling out from under Trelweny's sleeping form the green cait tugged both himself & his familiar free of her greater mass. Breathing heavily, Shippou glared at the usually more carefull female. "Next time, remind me not to be so close to her when she over-exerts herself to the point of exhaustion."
Nodding, Locke puffed heavily for breath. "Yeah... me too."
Flying from underneath Trelweny's sash Tien squaked indignantly as some of their other human companions touched books & disappeared. "Isht! Aru pelae tabas! Tabas mit ene nenen... leln? Isht..."
"Well I did hear Sosiqui say we should stick with Quinny for now... didn't I?" Locke ponders this, since he was pulling getting them out from underneath Trelweny at the time Sosiqui had spoken, going off for more healing items. "But she just left, & Trel's still passed out..." Concern filled his eyes as he checked out his human. "Since Theron stopped sleeping through the night she's not been properly rested. No wonder she so easily over did it. Perhaps it would be best if we waited until Trel wakes up or Sosi returns."
"So what do we do until then?""How 'bout we see how much of this stuff we can fit into Trel's bag?""Sounds good to me." With a business that their human would not have believed if she had seen it, the fox fam & green cait set to work.

((by the way I'll probably be gone for the weekend. We have to go "sudo-camping with Timex's family. Might not be able to rp again til Tuesday so I'll just wait for Sosi.))

The cait and his familiar looked around the Stargrove thoughtfully. Sosiqui had not yet returned nor had Trelweny woke up. They were afraid to wake her, what with most of their companions being gone without her. Sharing a look they agreed to continue to wait until Sosiqui's arrival to waken Trel.
The bag between them looked no different than when they had slipped it out of Trelweny's grasp. However every thing on the Strargrove floor that the two could finagle into the bag had been finagled into the bag. Even a few of the smaller items higher up that one or the other could reach had been put inside the bag. Tien too had helped in the kunkun's own way, as tiny odds & ends found their way inside the shoulder bag. Sharing another look, Locke & Shippoou wondered which was going to have the more interesting reaction to their day's efforts: Trelweny or Sosiqui.

"Didn't someone say this was a watery world we're going to? Are you sure you still want to go, Shippou?" THe cait's nose twitched in humor as he teased his familiar. The red fox's hackles rose. "I can handle water, you wet eared cait! Don't think you'll be rid of me so easily!" Sighing to himself, Locke stuck his head into the bag. "We're supposed to be bringing animals back with us... Trel's got plenty of buckets & plastic zipper-seal-bags in here, but nothing watertight for big water animals. How will we move them? The fish coolers won't hold anything much larger than a kyunru."
Scoffing, Shippou cleaned his tail. "Let's hope we don't find anything that big then."
Locke pulled his head out of the bag to stare at his familiar. "But... there's sure to bigger animals that need new homes! They can't all be smaller than 3 feet!
"I don't see how that's our problem."
Meanwhile Tien was fluttering around Sosiqui's scattered gear, continuing what Locke & Shippou had begun earlier & grabbing any small item she could carry & shoving it in the bag. With the kun's help they would not be at a loss for shinies or firewood, that was for sure!

The cait, fox & kun spun as Sosiqui returned, a full backpack behind her, & without a look at them or Trelweny still asleep used the linking book & left them. Eyes wide they stared at each other, taking in the situation. "Um... We'd better wake Trel."
Nodding, the green cait slunk over to where Trelweny lay sleeping. Tentatively he nudged her awake, fearful of her reaction to the others leaving her behind. "Trel? Trel! You need to get up!"
Moaning softly she stretched even before opening her eyes. When she did it was to see an empty grove. Her eyes widened and hands went to her lips. "High Ones! Where is everyone?"
"Tabas. Tabas, tabas, tabas. Tabas book!" The little kun was terrified, angry, & sad, all at once. Tien did not want to be left out of an adventure & it did not like thinking that her human had been forgotten. "Shesheke und yureshe." It stomped its foot emphatically even as huge tears formed in Tien's violet eyes. "We were going to wake you when Sosiqui got back... & we did! She just didn't stay long! Now they've all gone through the book!"
Trelweny took only a moment to take this all in, realizing first that if the others had gone before her she had better not waste any more time here. Sighing to herself about her poor choice of sleep time she hugged & consoled her dispairing pets. "It's okay. You guys did great. Let's hurry & follow them!"
Their fears molified & excited about the potential adventure in store Tien & Locke quickly cheered up. Shippou however was still melancholy. Rubbing against Trelweny's ankles as she neared the book the little fox tried to get her attention. She looked down, anxious about the time wasted but concerened at his unnatural behavior. "May I ride on your shoulder, in your sash?"
Stunned at both his proper grammar & the request, Trel nodded as she picked him up & placed him there herself. Then, remembering something she had once heard about these books she lifted Locke into her arms as well. "Tien, hold on to one of us. We want to make certain we arrive in the same place."
Once the tiny kun was clinging to her hair, Trelweny reached out a hand to the open Oceana page.
