It's almost here... but after seeing the Spore demo by Will Wright i'd say I have something to to look forward to at around qtr-4 06 to qtr-3 07.

Technically it is here...Just not for me. Deliveries to the west coast, and then down into the small population areas of Oregon usually take a couple days longer than normal shipping dates. (Read: I should have it by Wednesday or tommorow if luckey).

Yup thats right, its out there somewhere if your reading this, so get to looking. It seems the people on the east coast got it already and many stores are already selling it. Gamestop and such from what I've read. So if you got some cash in your greedey little hands, get going. Go out and find it already 3nodding

Wendesday needs to come quicker...::mumble:: stare

Hmm, well I didnt think I would but I plunked down the cash for the Collector's Edition, and I rather liked the overall packaging for the PC edition. A nice 100 something page booklet about information of Tamriel comes with it, along with a coin thats supposed to be a Septum..Geekish but meh, I'm happy.

The nusic is great as well, carrying along the same sorta vibe that you'd get from Morrowind. While its different than that game, its still top notch in sound and feeling. Now, while I've only been playing the game for a short while now, all I have to say is wow..Right off the bat the game creates a great deal of atmosphere and the graphics are nothing but stunning. Combat, oh wow, completely overhualed..Marksmanship is now really a viable skill now, and I'm having a blast running about in dungeons sneaking around, firing shots off at enemies. Rushing towards me I'll draw my sword and blast em with magic. Words cant really do the new system justice when compared to Morrowind.

*Edit* Graphics are turned up, running with HDR and its running smoothley on my system. My only real complaint is that the game seems to become unstable right now if you Ctrl+Tab to pop between different programs. Gonna make taking screenies alot more annoying till I edit the registry file... stare
I'm holding off on saying its a ABSOLUTE must have, but I'm getting that same giddey feeling I did when first run across Vvardenfell in Morrowind...Hmm, good thing I have a 24 pack of soda by me right now, cause it doesnt look like I'm sleeping tonight.

well i got an outdated grphics card so oblivion is running at 7fps with all the settings low still a great game though especially combat i love to sneak up behind people and launch them in the air with a sneak attack then rearrange dead bodies into odd positions

I wont even try it. I can barely play Gothic II NotR right now so I know Oblivion would kick my a**. As for graphics cards, I think I have my eye set on the 7900GT (evga, most likely). Processor... 4200x2 if I can find a good price.. an OC'ed 3800x2 if not.

I seriously got a new computer just to play that game. I run it on almost the highest settings. It's so beautiful.
