Raerin remained seated and watied for the food to be done. ((sorry for uncreativeness; this is just filler to hopefully make the RP continue...))

Why do we keep trudging on... "Eat up," she ordered, setting the table and pies on each plate. Ekoz settled down, but found herself too chokes up to eat. "Why am I blinking back tears?" she asked herself. Nothing seemed wrong... When the battle has already been lost?

"Eh... I don't know, maybe you need to cry for some reason? Or maybe you put a bit of onion in these?" said Rrazpe.

She took the pie and leaned against the wall, eating standing up, nothing unusual for her. She didn't say anything, looking back and forth between the two.

Why do we keep trudging on... Ekoz stuck her tongue out at him and blinked a few tears down her cheeks so that the wateryness would go away. "No onions," she said. When the battle has already been lost?

Rrazpe just decided to ignore it and ate some of it. It had meat in it, so even if it tasted bad he'd have liked it anyway. It tasted fairly good, so he didn't say anything. That was his form of a compliment.

Why do we keep trudging on... Maybe the tears were because she was surely too... well, little to make anything too decent. A failure, that was what it was... They probably hate it, she thought sadly. But oh well. If they could make something much better, I'm sure they would. And surely Saro would fire me if it wasn't any good at all... "Dessert?" she asked, finishing off her small portion. Shadow's don't eat much. When the battle has already been lost?

"Nah, I'm full," he said, having eaten all of his. It was the truth, and he also didn't like sweets anyway.

Why do we keep trudging on... Ekoz collected his and her dishes, allowing Saro to keep hers since they weren't currently on the table. When she turned away from them, towards the basin where she kept dishes to be cleaned, Ekoz felt a surprised smile cross her face. His plate was clean- perhaps he didn't hate her cooking very much, at all. When the battle has already been lost?

It's a month later, and business had rose before falling again for the last two weeks. There have been no guests, and some staff have left.
Saro sat down at the bar, sighing as she rested her head against a post. She had a drink in front of her, she had no clue what was in it having just mixed random liquors together, not caring what was in it.
