Nitrahell Capt-Cat thegrinner GiOdAdDy_dta well if chief does die then there will definitely be no more games after Halo 3. An im tired of people asking if there will be another game besides 3! it's getting real anoying! They've already laid down the law on that one and said theres no other Halo games coming out after 3. Its a trilogy. As for him dying... I doubt they'd do that. What would be cool is multiple endings, where thats one of them. Sadly, that would be hard to do. I think odds are, he'll kick a** and win the war somehow. There are more games, just not part of the trilogy, like "Halo Wars" is all about the battle of reach and why Master Chief is the only spartan lef. actually halo wars follows the story of the books yes its fall of reach but he isnt the only spartan left that was just a plot made by bungie that screwed up the game somewhat....for those who have read the books we know that there are actually 7 spartans out of 31 still alive the others deaths had to be covered up for propoganda because humans were supposed to think spartans couldnt die.but if its the battle of reach HW follows then we wont be playin as John anymore youll be playin as...Fred the spartan in charge of defending reach.For all you smart asses who think im lieing read the damn book and find out yourself. ya ur right most of them r inside onyx still i think

(im just gonna use my imagination here) i think that right before he'z gonna die, he'll take off his helmet and be all goodbye or somethin and then die.. but i dont think he'll die... i just wanna see his face

He does die in the end and if you listen closely you hear that his name is John

He doesn't die. You see him at the end of the game with Cortana. He goes into the cyro-tube that he came out of in Halo 1 though.

RISKA16 the master freak'n cheif always kicks a** A-Men Anywho Ive yet you finish on Legendary but from the looks at the end hes lives.....I guess everyone else thinks he dies.

i played halo 3, he didnt REALLY die, he just got stuck in space with cortana ninja

ive beaten Halo 3 on all but Legandary...need help -.-...and He doesnt die...wait till the end of the credits you will see and extra scene...also Master Chief is supposed to make an Appearance in Halo wars many times...and if there still making the Movie thats when he will show his face...dont ask me how i know this as my sources are Classified...Beware zee Ninja's ninja ninja ninja ninja

he doesn't die, he freezes him slef and cortana is on the machine. it's pretty hard to see because it's all dark. but what i don't get is that wasn't arbiter with the chief because he is seen piloting the ship. but in the end, he is on the land. but chief is in space?

The Chief doesn't die at the end of Halo 3, he freezes himself. He dies at the second battle of New Mombasa, where he drops a grenade to kill a brute that has taken him captive, but kills himself in the process.
