"I do not know...I can see it but perhaps that is because I am devoid of such feelings that it allows me to spot them so easily..."
He spoke now, without emotion there was nothing in his voice anger, sadness, happyness, nothing...It was as dead as the mask upon his face more so it seemed like the mask on his face in the sense that it seemed as though it had never been living at all. All this time he merely put on a mask, it was another face none of the personality he put before him was real, it was merely to satisfy the viewers. He learned quickly that a state of emotionlessness usually caused people to grow angry or feel sorry for him, he didn't need either. Thus he created facades to keep the people around him in a false sense of security while underneath he was still nothing but a cold dead shell. A ghost if you will, he was alive but transparent in the sense that he did not feel and it seemed no one could touch him.
"You are to trusting...Your going to be destroyed by that which you want, that foreign Kage, he may desire you but it would not be in your interest to allow it to move any further then mutual relationship that benifits only your village, if you will...A truce that will keep his shinobi at bay, or perhaps even an alliance but do not feel for him or your fellow shinobi Michio...It will lead you to destruction Arashikage-sama..."
He said such sad and painful words without an ounce of remorse, or feeling within his voice, it was like speaking to a robot that had no true voice of its own. It was as though that which may have once been living inside of the young man in front of her had withered away and died without leaving a trace of its existance. There was a cold dead feeling when he spoke that only made the proof of this more prominant, he was nothing but a mask.

Nayami’s head seemed to lift off slowly from her hands as she soon dropped both of her palms onto her lap. She allowed his words to flow throughout her entire mind, gently closing her heavy eyelids in the process. She knew he was right about everything, well almost at least, the part of her falling for the Crystal Kage was a bit off, but she could easily see how he perceived it that way. Keeping her eyes softly closed she lifted one of her hands up from her lap, using a slight gesture with her fingers to beckon him over. At the smallest sound of his shifting feet, Nayami’s eyes seemed to open, her body still leaning over vaguely as she waited for him to approach her. It had been awhile since someone had actually had enough courage to stand up to the storm Kage, and for that, Nayami couldn’t help but to admire the towering man who stood before her.
"You know, I have been waiting for some time now for someone to actually set me straight.” Nayami finally spoke as her orbs fell upon a certain darkened floorboard, the uniqueness of it catching her eye before she slowly looked back up at Hageshii.
“What else would you like to tell me?”

Since she beckoned him toward her of course he would come closer and stand before her, overshadowing her with his tall and lithe form. He was muscular but not in the sense that he looked like some kind of super-man no, he was simple however techniques and other things allowed him to become stronger then human easily. It seemed she respected the fact that he was quite content on simply standing up to her as such. He of course, as her most loyal, would set her straight as he saw it as his duty as a loyal servant to keep her upon the correct path, allowing the village to flourish.
"My Kage I have only to tell you to be careful in what you do, villages fall and leaders are easily replaced, you are young and strong but that does not make you all powerful...Yet..."
He watched her once more silently, there really wasn't anything else for him to say to her at the moment his warning was enough it struck to true to the point. Of course it wasn't her fault, she didn't have the same background as he did she still had the ability to feel things and have regrets unlike himself. His snake-like mask seemed to gaze through her flesh and directly into her soul, his own eyes underneath would be doing about the same thing. But at the moment he was merely watching her, observing her reactions to his words, it was a learning process so that he could better commune with others.

Once again Nayami found herself listening intently to his every word, looking up to him in as she truly admired his actions. It wasn’t everyday a person would remain this loyal to her, and be ready to help her out at the very first sign of a weakness.
With a long intake of air she lifted herself up from the step, standing near the edge of the smooth wooden stairs. With the advantage of the stairs Nayami now seemed to be just as tall as him, her eyes falling upon the carved out slits in his mask as she seemed to lean a bit closer to him.
Placing both of her palms on top of his broad shoulders, her slender fingers seemed to gently coil over his attire.
“I admire you so much.” She whispered softly into his ear, her lips gently brushing across his skin as she remained close.
“Some days…I wish that I was born without emotions, so my life wouldn’t have to be dragged down by them, and I could truly be free of any weaknesses.”

He went rigid as he always did when someone who meant not to harm him touched him, it was just an odd reaction he always had. There seemed to be no stopping him from doing it either, it was as though his body was rejecting the physical contact as though it where some sort of cure being rejected by a body that wished to die. Maybe that is what it was, some sort of defense mechnism that had been created over time to keep him from feeling human warmth. It was a great one, people normally did not wish to hug what was pretty much a light pole, no people like hugging human bodies that had warmth. Her touch was warm but his skin was rather cold, but perhaps that was just an illusion or maybe a Jutsu activated, or maybe it was just how he felt. Whatever it was it was most certainly a deterrent from anyone trying to get to close to him to give him comfort.
"You wouldn't want this...I am an efficiant killer and a loyal servent but otherwise I am all but dead...You need to have those emotions to let your judgement be for the good of the village, however you use them to much and disaster will follow..."
Subtley he somehow slipped from her grasp but she did not off balance and fall forward due to the lack of his presence in front of her, not she was still perfectly balanced. It was as though he had pushed someone else into her grip and then stepped back a few steps, however there was now no one in her embrace. No he was not one for the human comfort and warmth that only those with feelings could ever posess, no only he was free from this. Only he could overcome things that most people and shinobi and even animals could not, since he did not feel things the way they did it made him the ultimate predator.

As he slowly slipped away from her grasp a weak smile seemed to faintly tug at her lips, as if she was trying to force it to her mouth.
“Don’t worry, I’m not about to let my village fall into the clutches of disaster.”
It took awhile for Nayami to realize she had no one within her arms anymore, the coldness once again enveloping her flesh as her limbs fell limply down to her sides. She seemed to be off in another world as she stared down at the ground with a blank expression etched along her face. All in one day she had already visited the doors of so many mixed emotions, from anger, to love; from love to confusion, and now the over baring feel of depression loomed heavily over her heart. So many emotions…so hard to deal with them all. Breaking her concentration with a quick shake of her head, Nayami turned her back to Hageshii, one of her feet gently lifting as she began her short trek up the twisted staircase.
“I apologize for wasting your time.” She replied solemnly with a soft sigh as she gently placed one of her hands upon the smoothen banister.
“You may go back to what you were doing, you are dismissed.” With that last note in the air, Nayami continued up the long staircase, wanting nothing more then just to lock herself up in her personal quarters and try to forget and block of everything that had just taken place.

He shook his head silently as she left, he then took his place down at the entrance, however he could feel what was going on upstairs. He knew where she was and he would know where other shinobi would be if they entered, it didn't matter if they hid their chakra or not, every door and window in this place was obviously sensitive. This would make it hard for entry to be possible without someone knowing, there where also primitive methods of alarming that most shinobi knew nothing of. Needless to say if a shinobi climbed up the side of the building instead of entering properly through the front, he would most certainly know about it in advance.
"Perhaps it may have been for the best to just allow her to do what she would...I think that perhaps I may have made it worse, the fact that she is so depressed now conveys that..."
He shook his head in annoyance, sometimes he just could not understand these emotions, they got no-one anywhere, they but only added to the problem. Most of the time they where a weakness that made you insufficiant for anything, and then of course feelings of love and lust, the things he hated most. They where a disease to him, they turned you into an animal, while fullfilling hormonal desires you where nothing but a beast in human clothes. As one could figure from his stiff demeanor when people simply touched him, he was definalty unable to feel the warmth of human comfort, from a simple hug, to a sexual experience. He was cold and dead in all aspects of humanity, the only thing that showed him to be alive, was the beating heart in his chest.

It didn’t take Nayami long as she soon found herself standing in the center of her office; the rather large desk positioned on the opposite side of the room seemed to be cluttered with all sorts of papers and folders, the white sheets laying loosely upon her already crowded desk. She had been most certainly been neglecting her duties as a Kage, putting the paperwork second as she tried to once again set order to her dysfunctional village.
“Damnit…I wish I hadn’t been unconscious for so long…”
Nayami muttered hotly as she pulled out the wooden chair from beneath the desk, the legs scraping against the ground with a loud screech as she dragged it over the polished floor. With a long exhale of air, her bangs seemed to flutter gently as Nayami exaggerated her frustration. Flopping down into the sturdy furniture she began to neatly organize all of her paperwork, putting it into separate piles and folders so it would be a lot easier to read, instead of trying to flip through random subjects where none of the writing seemed to match.

So much work, yet so little space left free in Nayami’s cluttered mind. Her ink moved fast as she ran her brush neatly along the certain scrolls, jotting down small notes, or answering letters she had received. Since her village was rather secluded she didn’t received too many missions, making it pretty clear she’d only allowed her strong shinobi to participate in meaningful tasks. Cradling her cheek lazily in the palm of her left hand, she continued to work with her right. Nayami had been working for hours now, the soft illumination of her candle flickering in silence as the sound of brush strokes would every so often fill the air as she dipped the fine tip within the thick ink.
“New requests…new people…more skills…more recruits…mission wanted from a small fishing village…missing Nin…wanted for murder…”
Her thoughts continued to overlap each other as she stared down intently at the many parchments before her. Reaching for a small cup, she brought it slowly to her lips, taking a long sip of what seemed to be some warm liquid judging by the steady flow of steam as it rose into the air above.
Allowing the soothing substance to slosh down her throat Nayami gently placed it back down, the bottom making a small clinking noise as it hit against her desk.
“I hereby…yadda yadda…ranking…selling weapons…NAYAMI YOU FOOLISH WOMAN.”
Nayami flinched as she suddenly saw one of the titles of the paper’s clearly addressed to her. Her hand dropping free from her face as she held onto the parchment with two hands, trying to read the overly neat writing more closely, which strongly smelt of fresh soil.
“Dear: NAYAMI YOU FOOLISH WOMAN!
I clearly give you a simple task, and even told you EXACTLY what to do. Its been weeks now and there still hasn’t been any sign of you destroying your village. I thought you were the smart one, and now I hear you nearly got killed from a little boy. Hah, maybe I shouldn’t have put my faith in you…… I’m still waiting for you to complete this mission, you father is still going against my ruling and well, to be honest, I think he’s gone a little nuts in the head. I really hope you still have all your marbles because he’s clearly lost ‘em. Whenever you get off your lazy kister, make sure to come and see me…it’s been ages since I last received an offering for you. Maybe I should disconnect you from my power…
Well, Bye for now Miss Kage.
Ametsuchi, your faithful nature spirit."
Nayami’s mouth seemed to drop as she quickly bolted up from her seat.
“s**t, I totally forgot about that.” Taking her black jacket from the back of her chair, she struggled to quickly put it on, pushing her arms into the sleeves as she held the ink brush in between her teeth.
“Great…just great, another thing I have to worry about…” She mumbled as her voice came out a little muffled thanks to the wooden brush that remain within her mouth.

Securing the long black jacket around her body her fingers worked quickly as she buttoned up one of the buttons near her waist so it wouldn’t just fly open at any minute. Throwing open the door to her room Nayami bolted down the hallways, her ears soon ringing with loud bang of something heavy falling to the ground.
“Right. I never got that door fixed…” She noted with a mental sigh as she stood at the top of the stairs.
She knew Hageshii would still be waiting near the entrance to her house, making sure to keep watch in case of any wandering shinobi.
Jumping down the stairs the pads of Nayami’s feet seemed to hit about one or two steps before she reached the bottom, a soft thud filling the air as she now stood looking over at Hageshii. She approached him with a weak grin knowing he might scold her for not doing her duties since he seemed to be rather strict about her keeping in good status.
“Hageshii.”
Nayami called out lightly as she approached him, her long jack fluttering behind her as the supple material grazed across her calves. With the brush still placed securely in her mouth she seemed to wear a goofy smile across her face, her teeth slightly showing as they sunk lightly into the wood. On her right cheek there seemed to be some black ink smeared messily over her smooth skin, the brush accidentally catching her face as she recklessly jumped down the rather higher staircase. As well as forgetting to put down her brush, the distracted Kage seemed to have buttoned up the wrong button, her jacket a bit lopsided as she hurried to respond to Ametsuchi’s letter.

Hageshii watched his Kage decide to leap down the stairs as it where, it seemed she suddenly had something very important to do. He scowled silently at her as she approached him, she looked rather ridiculous, he was already rather unhappy with her conduct of the latter. But now the goofy smile and the lopsided clothes along with the ink smears, she looked like an academy student nose picker that had just gotten out of school. He silently walked up to her and without a word, he removed the brush from her mouth, unbuttoned her jacket and re-buttoned it correctly and the wiped the paint from her face. He then silently held out the brush for her to take back from him, his scowl did not seem to cease.
"Arashikage-sama...I must protest your sudden decision to run off, you still need your rest you are not super-human..."
His scowl never ceased, even when he was speaking it looked as though he where still scowling, a thing about him that could never be explained however it was no matter. His eyes pierced her body searing into her soul burning away all of the lies and masks then finally making it down to the true carnal desires. This was his true gift of reading people, he looked into their souls like some sort of mystic and found what they truly desired, a gift given to make up from his loss of emotion. He was no mind reader he simply could see the things that people wanted right down to their most carnal passions.

Nayami’s cheeks seemed to be tinted pink as her bright eyes had eventually fallen from Hageshii’s gaze. She was acting rather ridiculous, but then again…she was in a hurry. Taking the brush softy away from his grip she muttered a quiet thanks as her eyes finally lifted back up.
“Its very important, I must go to the shrine as soon as possible.” She stated as she gently chucked the brush onto one of the tables that had been set up near the entrance of the room, the item landing on the glass with a loud clink.
“I appreciate your concern, I really do, but this has to do with our contract with the nature spirit, I can’t afford to lose that, I know you understand the importance in that.”
Delicately with one of her fingers she stroked the spot on her cheek where the black ink had been smeared, her skin still a little bit flushed with embarrassment as she knew Hageshii wouldn’t be all that pleased with her actions.
“I apologize…” Nayami repeated again as she knew he’d probably be scolding her for the rest of the day for her little childish incidents.

He waved his hand as though trying to swat a fly at her apology, he of all people knew the importance of their bond with the spirit. So he stepped over to the doors that lead out and opened them for his Kage and started his way toward the shrine, he knew which was her destination. She wouldn't be far behind him he knew that of course, always there was her speed and diligence when it came to her village and certain other things. He did not wait for her since he knew she would be either right beside of him or in front of him within seconds, he however was honestly baffled by her clusmy gestures. It made him doubt himself a little bit as a human being, however the feeling was quickly gone, he knew he was no longer human like she was.
"My Kage there is no need to apologize...I am sorry for touching you, I did it without permission or thought my life is your to take and do with what you will..."
He bowed his head in silence now as he made his way toward the shrine where they would most likely be making an offering to the spirit to speak with him. Or more so she would be making the offering to speak with it, he was just a spectator or if something went wrong and someone attacked he would be a protector. A powerful man such as him at such a young age could hold his own against many foes, and he would not allow himself to be taken by anyone if it would mean his Kage being left helpless. Dieing to protect her was not an option, especially if he died and someone ended up having their way with her anyways, it would be a useless death for him.
"Protector..."
He thought about the true meaning of the word, it did not seem like something he would do but maybe it was just the fact that he felt devoted to her. More so then feeling, he just simply 'was' devoted to her, without thought or feeling, a odd thing to explain and he had indeed tried to explain it without avail.

Even though Hageshii had sprinted ahead of Nayami it was only a few seconds before she eventually caught up with him. She didn’t feel like passing him a feeble attempt to try and hide her embarrassment. It wasn’t in Nayami’s nature to go off running like a little schoolgirl just because she had accidentally made a fool of herself in front of the opposite gender, she realized Hageshii was just looking out for her, after all he did take it as his one and only duty.
As they approached the shrine, one of Nayami’s arms snapped out as she pried a young boy out from a tree where he had been currently hiding. With a long sigh her slender fingers coiled around the collar of his shirt as she dragged him effortlessly towards the center of holiness.
“People must think I’m an idiot if they don’t think I can sense the presence of a simple gennin.”
Judging by the headband he seemed to be from a small village that was clearly trying to make its way into the big leagues.
The boy struggled within Nayami’s grasp as he kicked as tried to hack her with his kunai, the sharp weapon wobbling in the air as they blade continued to miss her limbs.
Shaking her head in disgust she tossed him in Hageshii’s direction. “Snap his arms so I don’t have to deal with any troublesome jutsu’s.” She replied with a light smirk.
“See, this is what you get for trying to be a hero.” The Kage sneered as her cold blue orbs fell down upon the gennin.
“Don’t dare apologize for your actions, Hageshii; you have nothing to be sorry about.” Nayami added on hoping he’d get her hint that she didn’t mind him looking out for her, kind of appreciating the father like figure, one she had really never had.

Hageshii sighed, the boy thrown to him he caught the young one by the neck and held up off the ground silently he was to busy struggling for oxygen to bother with jutsu. He threw the boy on the ground and before he could bother trying to get back up he stepped on the boys back and then grabbed both squirming arms. He pulled up on both of them which ended with a sickening popping sound as both the boy's arms where dislocated forcefully. He dropped the boy silently as he cried and squirmed about pityfully, the then picked him back up as they made their way toward the shrine.
"He seems a little scrawny..."
His only responce, he had just broken a young boy's arms and was now taking him to death and all he did was comment on how the boy was a bit underfed. Truly he was a ruthless being without remorse, or more so without the emotion that would warrent such a thing as remorse or pity. He just didn't feel those things like everyone else, he was cold dead husk no wonder he had such an odd name such as Hageshii Ikari, which of course meant intense anger, or hate. He didn't even really have those emtions either but when he fought those where the emotions that he would put upon himself.
